@@pug7552 it's less of a joke than anyone could wish for due to the anual budget cuts that's been gutting the entire public sector in Sweden since the 1990ies stock market crash.
Eg. The directive from Carl Bildts time as prime minister that instructed every public office to "effectivise" with a fixed percentage of each previous anual budget...
Those anual budget cuts has gone on for more than 20 years by now, as none of the latter governments has bothered to stop it.
And what's worse is that the directive was written so that any additional funds allocated by the politicians can't be used unless earmarked for specific projects as using additional general funds would violate the "effectivisation" directive as it wasn't accounted for in the end of fiscal year audit from the previous year...
And thus the general bonus funds has to be sent back to the national department of finance...

Most budget cuts during the 90s crisis was made by the social dem Persson administration, and that was a thing they did well, seeing that we were a lot better equipped than most of Europe during the 08 crash. The 90s crash was so terrible for Sweden because of more than a decade of mismanagement by social dem administrations during the 80s where they just de-evaluated the currency instead of making reforms. The 91 crisis was not the Built administration's fault.
I wish V90 CC were more common in North America. They are absolutely awesome cars. It’s performance in these conditions prove that it would be perfect for similar conditions especially on the Canadian Prairies where I live.

Att inte polisen har position likt försvaret där man ser enheterna, då hade ju alla enheter kunnat se den som jagar och de slipper sitta och vråla ut vilken väg de är på.

Om han kör så vårlöst så brukar ju polisen sluta följa efter. så de fanns en chans. Onödigt att typ någon med barnvagn eller gammal person på gångbanan ska dö.
Hoppas man kommer på tekniska prylar och köper in så man kan få stopp på fordon snabbare.

I've got an 07 XC90 V8 and it's brilliant in the winter with the right tires (Southern Ontario winters, deep and sluuushy).
Att medvetet köra på andra fordon inklusive polisbilarna, kostar det något för gärningsmannen? Förstår att fängelsevistelsen är ett sätt att betala, men vem pröjsar plåt- och lackjobb?
Tror han får betala eller så går det till kronofogden och så finns det försäkringar som står för en viss summa
Du blandar ihop begreppen ”XC” och ”CC” hej vilt. Det är en V90 CC ( Cross Country). Inte XC90. Och en XC70. Men det är delvis Volvos fel då de har bytt från XC till CC, lite förvirrande för den som inte är van. Från och med nu heter bara SUV:arna ”XC”. 😀
lite roligt att han blir arg när folk släpper förbi han, folk vill ju få sin bil skadad :P
@Oskar Nilsson mja som regel ska du släppa fram. I sverige så vill ma hälst inte ha civila inblandade. En kriminel kan faktiskt stämma dig om han blir skadad (sjukt jag vet)

Du får använda nödvändigt våld för att göra ett envarsgripande som privatperson. Du skulle kunna brotta ner en snattare från ICA och råka bryta käken på människan i bara farten, helt lagligt så länge du inte tar i mer än vad som är nödvändigt för att kontrollera människan. Envarsrätten är en viktig del i att få samhället att fungera. Annars hade man kunnat göra vilket otyg som helst och bara gå därifrån utan att någon kunde hindra en. Och skulle det bli någon personskada så är det eventuellt ett brottsmål, inte civilrättsligt. En stämning gör man civilrättsligt, om man inte är överens om något avtal eller dylikt. Men grundbulten är ändå att du kan gripa vem som helst på bar gärning eller flyende fot med nödvändigt våld. Och för den delen, om man skulle ställa sin bil i vägen för någon som försöker fly så är det ändå han som kör in i dig, inte tvärtom. Det hade varit en annan sak om du tagit sats och dragit in i honom.
Ett problem här som är lätt att sitta och säga i efterhand är ju att när polisen kommer med blåljus och sirener så försöker allmänheten lämna fri väg, de tänker att polisen vill fram, inte att de försöker stoppa någon. I det här läget hade det nog varit bättre att stänga av och låta skåpbilen fastna i trafiken.

@@gtboard Same in The Netherlands, bicycle paths get scooped and brushed free of snow as well (that is, if we have snow which usually is in no way comparable to what I see in this video). This amount would absolutely cripple The Netherlands....we would absolutely be unable to cope with this amount that probably is around for a long time as well, given the huge piles I see everywhere.
We'd be cycling as well in these conditions, or as we'd say in The Netherlands: "Weather or no weather, we cycle".

Swedish drivers are to Courteous. Here in Aus the first truck driver that saw them coming would have rammed or blocked the guy haha
Well first of all you need to think of your personal safety, as it is a truck with a 3 gross ton ramming you, and second the volvo cars arent cheap.

Just so satisfying seeing the truck blocked by two cars and a lightpole like that. One thing you should know about these 3.5 ton trucks is they become stuck super easily in snow, so once they got him stopped and blocked he had no chance even with the police cars being much lighter.
Turn off the sirene and wait for a car in front off the Sprinter...
Yeah, that's my thought as well. The public are clearing the way for the police, turning off the lights and sirens would probably have helped getting him stuck in traffic. But that's easier said in hindsight.
