I'm having this problem off and on and checked my settings the smsc number in the settings is correct. So this didn't work for me.
Same did you ever find a fix? I restart my phone to temporarily fix it but i want a permanent fix
@@SLIMRISKY I had the same problem but it turns out the smsc number was written incorrectly try redo the smsc number even tho it is same if it doesn't let you set/ save then it is the smcs number

@@Unknown72799 you can't find smc or did that not fix your problem? Also when looking for smc number make sure to type your network name and then smc number.. also if you mean you can't find smc number on your phone the vid explains how to find it in your sms settings
Mine appears to send the text meaage, and then a couple mins later I get a failed to send message with the orange exclaimation mark next to it, so I resend and that results in the person receiving duplicates of the same messages. Also I've had several issues where my unread text messages are somehow being marked as read when I've not even seen them, let alone, read them yet, and this has resulted in me not responding to them at all. I've only had my S21 phone for a couple of weeks, and this has become a royal PITA issue with it.

I'm having an issue with specifically not being able to send texts to automatic numbers (the 5 digit ones). When I first tried to send a message to cancel them a pop up appeared, but I accidentally clicked something and now I can't cancel any automatic subscriptions! Idk what to do, any recommendations?

Hey y'all, ok literally just had the same problem, but found a post with a solution that works! The included link provides troubleshooting tips for this by phone (mine was Android). I hope this helps, as like you both, I was in autopilot and totally mistakenly selected to never allow me to send messages to 5 digit numbers. It was a long post so just pasted the just below.
For Samsung:
Settings>Apps>Menu (3 dots in the upper right hand corner)>Special Access>Use Premium Text Message Services>Always Allow
For LG:
Settings>Apps & Notifications>Special Access>Premium SMS Access>Always Allow
For Apple:
There is not a specific setting to turn off/on Premium Messaging, but you will want to check:
Settings>Messages>SMS (ON) and make sure MMS and Group messages are on too.
