Ladybeard (Rick Magerey) used to be a part of the band. He is an Australian wrestler. He left the band in 2016(?). He is now in a band "Deadlift Lolita". After he left the band, the two girls rebranded the group as "The Idol Formerly known as Ladybaby". The other two girls are Rie Kaneko and Rei Kuromiya. Rei left in 2017(?) due to health issues. She is now in a band with her sister Aya Kuromiya called "BRATS". Rie is the only one left in the band back then so they recruited three new girls for the band. They are Emily Arima, Fuka Karasawa and Nana Ikeda. Sadly, back in late 2019 (or early 2020), they disbanded.
Ladybeard is not with Reika on Deadlift Lolita anymore. He now has 2 other little girls, similar to the first lineup of ladybaby as their performer partners. I love the bit where she says that if you smile you can get power over people and then winks at the camera. He had a very successful career as a stunt actor, then a wrestler, and now a musician. In an interview, Lady Beard stated he had "Visa Issues", thus why he left the band. But in a UA-cam video (Yup, he's got a youtube!) he stated that the Ladybaby band "Went crazy and that fell through". He wouldn't elaborate on that, probably under a disclosure contract of some sort. But now he has a new band called BabyBeard!

LadyBaby is a Kawaii Metal band. The same metal sub-genre that was originally created by Kawaii Legends, Babymetal 10 years ago. As weird as this is. Its kinda diverse and fresh in the metal scene. Combining both pop cultures (Japanese culture with Western Heavy Metal). But of course, none of them could come close to Babymetal who are legit metal icons today.
Very underrated band and got some great tunes with and without ladybeard , Renge Chance and Biri Biri money with ladybeard , Pelo with just the two girls and Starless sky , Riot anthem , Haten Ni Raimei and Misogi island with the four girl line up should cover all bases for your Ladybaby fix ( and mine )
