Personally I hope you decide to stay in Vancouver to practice med because there is a huge demand and no doctors at all! That being said being open to other options is great too!
my long term plan at the moment is definitely to stay in Canada!! I’m not sure if I want to stay in BC or move closer to home, but I’d love to do a year or two of fellowship training (if i end up picking a speciality that warrants one) in the US - mainly for the experience 😁
Hi Allie, I'm a big fan of your videos. I recently finished my bachelor's degree in Human Rights and Equity Studies, despite having Autism and mental health struggles. UA-camrs like yourself give me a chance to relax, as well as get motivated to complete my work. Thanks so much!
I just want to let you know that I just discovered your channel and I have already seen all your videos! I love your vibe and the way you edit your videos and everything just seems so put together! I really love your vlogs and i'm going to miss your study vlogs since now you're on break but you deserve it!
Man I feel you when you were talking about the bad weather and you had to walk somewhere. Zoom calls and video calls with my classmate is way more convenient and better
enjoyed this vlog and yay for being done w the semester! this is a bit of a random question, but what are your tips/advice for developing close friendships and maintaining old ones too? really admire your support system!
i'm glad you enjoyed the video & that is suchh a good question 💖 maintaining old friendships can be difficult - it's natural for life circumstances to draw you to new people and pull you away from others and you don't want a friendship to feel forced. i'm not that big on texting/calling, but whenever i'm in town i'll make an effort to meet up with old friends & most of the time the relationship dynamic doesn't really feel like it's changed :) having these connections built over time have really helped me feel supported and interconnected within community even though i'm not usually actively texting people. for developing new friendships, i would say things i've noticed that have helped me: 1) expand your circle into various communities! (higher likelihood of meeting people you click with), 2) don't be afraid to be the person to reach out & suggest plans, 3) your time and emotional energy are valuable!! reflect on what you value in a friend, how your relationships make you feel and think about where you're putting your energy :) not sure if that really helps much but feel free to dm me on ig if you want to chat further! all the best 💖
it’s a mini controller for a Nintendo switch but lots of med students use it as a remote control for anki! how it works is the keystrokes on the remote can be re-programmed to match specific keys on your keyboard, which then correspond to various shortcuts on anki :)
hej ALLIE THE APP you mentioned does it showcase bones I am a future radiographer and I hope this app may have that function as well before I purchase it.
this made me laugh 😆 i normally cut down the studying clips cause i've found that they were less interesting to watch but i'll be sure to include more in the future!
