    Almost like home. But people didn´t understand that they were going to dance around the midsummerpole.

    The Walking tune is "Gärdebylåten", traditional fiddle tune from Dalecarlia.

    If anyone is wondering what midsummer actually is..: the pole symbolizes the male baby making part and the earth is Mother Earth (obviously).. The pole is raised by "strong men" and put into earth, then kids dance around it basically celebrating life. thx and goodbye, happy midsummer haha

      It's an old pagan ritual dating way way back in Swedish history.
      Now there are only two holidays in Sweden that is not christian and that is the National Day of Sweden and Midsummer.
      That's why :p
