I tried making various cyclics and collectives from all sorts of joystick parts but I never tried (or even thought of) a setup like you have here, which works perfectly it seems. I bit the bullet a few months ago and got the VIRPIL TCS Plus Base collective with the Hawk-60 grip, I mainly fly B206/MD500 in MSFS and X-Plane 12 and UH-1/Mi-24P in DCS. Although costing over £500 it was well worth the money - solid build with quality components and great support. I really need to give this a go though, I can't believe this works as well as it does, and it was so obvious!!! You know what? You really need to patent this concept before someone else steals it and claims it for their own.

It’s so simple and works so great, thanks for your kind words
When next dcs update..I'm going to mess with kiowa
Its a blast to fly in VR. The small size of it really makes you feel a part of it
@@jakesvrfightclubnetwork3718 i cant wait to try out with my motion setup. dcs helicopters are awesome!
A kiowa isn't a rescue chopper.
Yes I am aware of that and mention it in the video. However, its my favorite helo to fly
Why Are you sitting in the CPG seat instead of the pilot seat?
it was free. Someday I will get a sponsor to offer me a chair lol
@ i Ment the left seat in the helicopter. Pilot is right side in the OH58. Copilot/Operator sits left
@@armsupwithlawrence oh lol, I like flying out of the left side, it feels much more natural to me
