Give it 2 months, this will get bigger than Hades, UA-cam-wise at least. Some really good Kalmah songs that people just didn't notice are Vezidoroga, Time Takes Us All, and Moon of My Nights. I think that people dislike Kokko's light voice and love his deep voice, and after listening for a long while notice that the light voice is extremely remarkable with the bands extraordinairy guitar, which by the way is the singer's own brother! The singer has two remarkable voices and his bro is guitargod

if you dont know what anime is this you dont know what youre missing, its cowboy bebop and id sugest you watch it, its universaly accepted to be the atleast in the top 3 anime evermade. its a crime drama/scienfiction and its a case study in how to make a good show.

I agree and disagree with some of the posts. Personally, I think most metal bands have their own taste, though I do agree that alot of newer things just sound, simply, the same. Kalmah has a good range of beautiful heavy vocals, while still retaining the melodic properties of black metal. It's a good conglomeration of talent. Also, alot of musicians from Finland are actually very talented. Music + Finland = Win.

that's funny I find that in flames songs have alot more feel to it, like I can't really listen to a kalmah album all the way through but I can with in flames, although individually I love kalmah songs
in flames works by albums old style: whoracle - very good the jester race- very good black ash inheritance- very good colony - very good clayman - good up to come clarity - quite bad and mainstream come clarity - fair comeback guitar wise, not my taste on vocals

drums sound so amazing because the drummer (sorry don't know his name) has a double base petal... its still very impressive to see what he can do. i can play this song just i don't have that second petal so its impossibly hard....and sounds nothing like it.

If you have the patience for different forms of jazz music, watch this show. If not, carry on listening to metal, then try jazz and the blues, and perhpas you'll see the similarites.
