Public enemy is one of the greatest groups in music regardless of genre besides being tight musically they have allways made people think that's what's lacking in hip hop today.
@Worrx83 Smash The Pumpkins is a shout out to "Smashing Pumkings." Parallel the brains of Cobain means he is relating to what Kurt Cobain was trying to say.
@Rickeeey1 It's just the way things are. Each to their own as far as I'm concerned. Maybe no one has played them anything different . In that vein try 101 Strings - Flameout which this samples.
Pretty hilarious that one of the Black Eyed Peas is in the video and now they're the most corporate band in America as named by the Wall Street Journal. Oh '99...

The Black Eyed Peas were dope in 1999 though. I was living in New Orleans at the time and saw them live not long after they released Behind the Front, and they were awesome. The whole show had a early 90s Native Tongues vibe to it. I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how we went from "Head Bobs" and the "Fallin' Up Remix" to "I Gotta Feeling"...
@Rickeeey1 mby soulless boy has so many views cuz everywhere ppl are talking about him... seriusly cant blame a single dude for hiphop not bein as popular nowdays, chill down
im a bit baffled, this video is full of masonic imagery, but yet griff is speaking out against the illumninati plan. Was the video deliberately made to show this, or is he a shill
I love this song, but man does this video suck. The effects and 3d are atrocious. It's bad for 1999, when this came out, and it's bad even for like 1994. Totally looks like some student work and hurts the song in my opinion. The card part in the beginning, the skeletons, the "what u know," and the sarcophagi at the end are the worst.
I get chills every time I hear this or see this video.
It's rare any songs do that to me anymore...
This is one of their hardest tracks!
Been a P.E. fan sine 1990.
One of the best P.E. tracks....
My favourite ever PUB song. I've got the cd single, with the video on it in Hi def!!! MINT!! :)

2018. And it still has an intense apocalyptic/end of the world/new order vibe to it
This is an amazing track.

I can't get the idea about the Kurt Cobain reference.
He also make that same reference on their song LSD
