As a fish lover i can say this video inspired me to start paying attention to the plant hobby. A master piece
The orange one that looks like a sunset/sunrise looks best.
Yeah I like that one as well 😊
This is definitely IAPLC worthy! Amazing job MJ!
Thanks so much!
I like the greenish background color the best.
Dark Blue Background looks the best it complements the green aquatic plants
Wow such a wonderful scape , the illusion of distance created is fantastic an IAPLC type tank 👍👍👍
I like the orangy red color and the green make it look super more heavily planted.
Truly amazing..... for sure you have the creators gift MJ..... Now do the same thing on your big shallow tank, we (and you!) deserve it. Cheers from Brazil....
Blue is the best color 🐉👏👏👏👏🙏
Love the background with the little bit of red at the bottom. Your patience definitely pays off! Gonna try the dry start method next time I start a new tank. I've wasted so much money by not being patient. Thank you for all you do. I've learned so much about this hobby from your channel 😊
The moss in the blender thing is a killer tip. I'll have to try that. Thank you!!
I eard you could add some plain yogourt to the mix before spreading. Never tried though, i wonder if it helps.
Dark blue background looked best!!
that is looking amazing and colour n°3 definitely looks best
What an amazing job you did. Not only with the scape but also editing. This is your best work by far, no doubt!
Wow, thank you! 😊
Love those rasbora and again a really nice scape. Planning on doing another 2 tanks myself.
Hope to meet you soon MJ.
Greetings johnny
This scape is looking amazing Mark! Great job on the hardscape! I like the sunset/sunrise look!
Just one word……WOW 😮
natural, simple, amazing
7:39 looks perfect for me to this scape mj uncle..its like sunset...more over I love your scapes...
Cool time lapse video style for this vid, mate. Good job. Looks great!
OMG!!! This aquascape is simply superb!!!!
Doesn't matter which background light coloring you use, they all look fantastical!!!!!
I like the Sunset, but it might take away from the Phoenix Rasboras!
STUNNING WORK!!!
Thank you for the detailed instructions!!!
Love this scape, awesome depth. For the background I prefer yellow in the bottom and sky blue on top, since your path is yellow the little bit of yellow in the bottom gives the impression of continuity.
Absolutely phenomenal!
❤i love this so much.
So beautiful forest for nano tank !!!🔥😘
Amazing progress with the moss on hardscape. With patience comes great success. 👍
Beautiful aquascape and interesting fish, I've never seen such rasboras before.
Such a beautiful scape! The added depth really makes the tank feel larger than it actually is. I wish I could create something like this that’s easy to maintain.
No words for how much I love this. Lovely fish as well, I've not seen those before.
Ordered one background! Early Xmas present to myself!🎄📦😁
Nice scape....i thought I have a jungle tank. Now I know what I have is a Dutch style aquarium. This here is a proper jungle tank, lots of wood and rock, and even a jungle path in the middle. The background light is amazing, the sunset and sunrise you could do with that. Just a thrill to have this setup, I want one like this for shrimps only.
Love this type of vid. Keep it coming!
Thanks! Will do!
That is a stunning scape! Love everything about it.
This looks like it could be in the IAPLC contest.
wow... so much time & patience is needed. looks so amazing
I love this aquascape. I really like the yellow at the bottom with blue at the top
Amazing looking little jungle.
Such a beautiful scape!!!
Amazing. You have definitely nailed the perspective...
Mosses seem magnificent on the woods. Been a great aquascape. Congratulations. I like the contrast of green and dark blue background. But the one with the dawn effect is also very good.
Just love it ... again !
Gorgeous! 💖
This is so beautiful! I’m feeling very inspired! 💚
Awesome jungle style aquascape 👍🏻
I think this can reach top 250 at IAPLC
Looks fantastic!
Wow amazing beautiful.
Wow, so professional
It's amazing!
The amazing thing here is how u prepare and plant the moss. The result is much2 more better than using a glue or line. I think it is the best method u use. I love it.😘
This is amazing! Good work and brilliant video!
Thank you very much!
The instro and outro sounds so nice!!!
wow .. so amazing process . i love this setup. so perfect hardscape. plants are amazing. back light is awesome. white blue mix is perfect.. goldy
Thanks so much 😊
If you have a reptile fogger, that might be a good investment to the moss dry start. It would keep everything damp and moist. And the cobalt blue background looks awesome against all the green.
love your scape man.
It looks the best when the focal point is red 🔥🔥 keep going bro amazing scape ❤️
Thank you so much 😀
Agree with the red focal point...
와 진짜 예쁘다
Love that scape 🔥
Cool vid Mark. 🌿
I really love this scape excellent video and thank you for sharing 👍✌️
Glad you enjoyed it
I've been looking for a decent light screen for a while without success, so I clicked your link and bought one - hope you get some kickback! You should upload the review on your youtube-page in my opinion!
Always nice vids ans nice scapes 👏
Looking awesome!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!
Very beautiful. You are very good with small details and your video skills are getting better and better. Time and patience I'm sure. Thank you for sharing your hobby with us all.
Thank you very much!
Great !!!!!
Superb
Ziet er weer goed uit man!
beautiful tank
Thank you!
damn, this looks bloody amazing! O_O
Recomended study's
Wow you exactly copy that liquid nature store aqua scape so beautiful
Super 😊👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Your work is amazing as usual,
I am new to aquascaping and want to make a beautiful tank for a betta with some fancy guppies so do you have any plant recommendations?
A lot of work but the effect is beautiful ❤✔
We want video on care of red root floater and also on how to make them red.
Basically all you need is good light, and not too much surface movement. And to make them really red you need low nitrates.
Now that time has passed, are you happy with the moss dry start?
What would you do differently. If I remember correctly you went on a bit of a holiday which kind of presented unexpected results. So holiday aside, what would you do differently? Yogurt method or are you still sticking to your guns sans yogurt?
Personally, I love how it all turned out. It looks so good. Thank you for all the series videos and this final one to cap it all off. I watch all of them. I really enjoy your work. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Yep still like the moss drystart method. Only thing I would do differently is not use the super slow growing moss like the bucephalandra moss, it just takes too long to grow and spread.
Happy to hear you are enjoying the videos 😊
Why did you wait to add the slow growing plants? Love ths cape!
❤️❤️❤️
As always, beautiful work!
Those lighscreens are really cool, dark orange and blue.
Just one question, how long do you think you could mantain this kind of scape on this beautiful condition?
Thank you! I think I can maintain it as long as I want 😊 2 years + easily
I really love this tank and really love the background!
question.....why did you plant the fast growing plants first and then wait 2 weeks before planting the slower growing plants? was that to allow them to get anchored?
I wanted to let the tank establish a bit before adding those other plants, since they are a bit more sensitive to high ammonia levels.
You did such a great job on this scape Mark! As for the background lighting it’s hard to choose each color gives a little different look. How difficult is maintenance and trimming on this?
Maintenance on this tank is definitely a bit more difficult, but totally manageable
It looks great 👍🏻
Dark lie just brings out everything in the aquarium
Not sure I could choose just one light setting! They all look awesome with such an awesome scape. Don't suppose there's a timer? If so, I'd set up with the yellow and blue for the start of lighting period, go green mid day, transition to the sunset, then a couple of hours dark blue through the evening to set the bedtime mood. (I have my aquarium lights come on in the afternoon and evening, when I'm more often around to enjoy the view 🤗)
It actually has a lot of different settings and modes! Just haven't had the time to look into them yet, but I think your idea should be possible!
@@MJAquascaping Look forward to seeing how it all turns out...
Hey MJ, I noticed you had replied to my previous comment about plants to use that are cat safe and I wanted to point out that if your house is generally Humid Succulents and Cactuses won’t do very well! I live in California so it’s very dry just letting you know! Love your videos and your aquascapes
Thanks for letting me know! It does get very humid here sometimes, so i guess we have to move to California! 😎
👍👍👍👍
Cried a little when I saw the pond snail at 7:35 on the right side (on the leaf) :(
Echt een fantastische scape! Lijkt me erg tof om zoiets te maken voor CPO kreeftjes, denk je dat dat kan of gaan die alles slopen?
Volgens mij kan dat prima met CPO's
Damn this is really my favourite 😁!! Maak je ook wel eens scapes voor andere mensen?🤤🤔
heel soms 😅
I think this is your best nano scape yet. These fish are known to be very sensitive to large water changes are you doing 50% or less ?
Yeah usually only 30%
Hey brother which camera do you use to shoot all your videos ?
Loved the video mate 😇🐠🌱
Iphone 11 😊
Hi, is this like java moss that u put in blender? Looks great
You could do it with java moss as well yeah, but I used Riccardia and phoenix moss
after adding fast grwoing plants you added moss on hardscape as well - at this point i am unable to see any moss from blender method
Yeah it's hard to see on video
If I do moss like this, I can't have algae eater like pelco or snail, can I?
Did you run into mold problems with the dry start? Also, did you blend riccardia for the dry start?
Very little mold issues and yes I did blend riccardia 😊
@@MJAquascaping Thanks for the reply. I saw this in your previous vid but where did you buy your inlet and outlet pipes? I'm referring to the clear plastic ones with an elbow
is that pressurized CO2 or just DIY? Beautiful scape!
Pressurized 😊
Have you considered or ever heard about reef tanks?
Yes! I might do a nano reef tank in the future 😊
What is that sawdust
did you do the dark start for this? or just soaked the wood / soil hardscape in water for a few days?
just soaked for a few days
Why can't I find any reviews/teardowns of the flux aqua chroma on UA-cam??? Do you plan on releasing one??
Pretty sure they just entered the market. Yeah I will use it for a few weeks and then do a little review
@@MJAquascapingAwesome! Thanks for replying 👍👍👍
that set up really needs the c02 system?
I think it could be fine without, I just want the plants to grow faster
