One thing I love about this campaign is how it builds the brotherhood between Shadow Company, TF-141, and Los Vaqueros only for it to be shattered so easily just after a huge victory (the oil rig mission). The undertones of Shepherd trying to subtly cover the missile scandal and covering his arse are so well done you may miss them in your first playthrough. Such a well done campaign and I like how modern it feels with all of the international bollocks and the very strict rules of engagement etc
I noticed the undertones from Shepherd right away, but I didn’t think he’d bury TF-141 just to cover his own ass. I don’t recall OG Shepherd trying so hard to bury TF-141, just a swift execution of Roach and Ghost after the Estate raid

The entire game definitely felt like a true modern remake of the og Modern Warfare with the ac-130/boat/sniper missions. Hoping to defend Burger Town in the next game.

I picked up on that right away. Why would a top general not want to know *how* American weapons got into the hands of the enemy? I’ve heard stories about soldiers and Marines not being allowed to go home until a missing service rifle has been found, either spending hours or even day is looking for it. I would think American missiles would be a lot more important than a service rifle.
Well for all intents and purposes, it wasn’t like Shepard was doing anything wrong. As Laswell explained, he was shipping those missile to Allies in the Middle East presumably to Farrah based on the season 5 cutscene. But because the DoD did not authorize the missiles to be delivered, Shepard had to do it off the books which is where Shadow company comes into play.
Every MW in the original franchise gave us tears and disappointment when they killed off all the badass characters while these reboots hype us so damn much with the endings and make us start counting the days for the next MW already!!
Also shows how the Mexican Border is used to smuggle in terrorists mixed with civilians. The wall may be useless, but at least we see its not built because he's a 'racist'.

This was my first call of duty after the very first one decades ago. i dont know about the community but this campaign was mind blowing for me. it was like an epic movie experience. Alejandro was the man for me but every dialogue was fantastic. Any suggestions on other COD's to play if i love this one?

I would check out the campaign for Cod Infinite Warfare. It was really good and I enjoyed it. If you're going to play it on pc I would check reviews on it since I heard there is a game breaking bug. I completed it on PlayStation and it was amazing. :)

Here’s an unpopular opinion most days. I actually really like the new MW games. Granted, the multiplayer is standard CoD gameplay it’s alright. But the campaigns, were very well done and just show the natural evolution and bond these characters form. I hope Alejandro, Graves, and all these new characters make a return in MW3. They were so well done.

Also, all of the game is one giant breaking of the UN charter that explicitly says that states in their relations refrain from usage of force. Essentialy glorifying war. Meaning that your mission, as a Task force member is essentialy breaking international law. Not that the game itself is doing so. :D But the game looks good.

For Urzikstan, you're assisting rebel forces that have been established as good guys fighting terrorism and occupation alike. "UN charter that explicitly says that states in their relations refrain from usage of force" The UN also acknowledges Nations' rights to self defense. International law doesn't prohibit use of force against terror.

My only issue with the game is the lack of character deaths. While I love how they are giving us development within the 141 team, I wouldn’t be terribly upset if they killed of a main support character, like Alejandro or Laswell. It’d make the emotion of the game feel much more like the originals. But i am okay with them developing these characters arcs before they kill them off

Game ended on a awesome premise chasing after Makarov again to then again get a absolute trash filler story where the cutscenes were actually downgraded in a 3 hour campaign then ends on not even a cliffhanger, but a "hey buy more skins and we're sure to retcon more character deaths and maybe if you play nice we'll give you a 2 hour story this time" and stolckholm syndrome players worse than destiny will eat it all up
