I'm not an expert, but I always try to first solve these puzzles on my own then, either successful or not, watch the video. So I ended up staring for 60 minutes at my desktop, finding only 3 digits, then finally giving up… But in the end I learned something new, which was this beautiful technique made of pure logic. Thank you for sharing this puzzle and logic I subscribed for more puzzles
Couldn't find this break in. I was forced to colour a really long chain starting from the 9's in box 9 either being in r8c8 or r9c9 , and saw that very far along, neither of them led to a 9 in R9C1, so I got to the same conclusion but was very unsatisfied with the solve. Thanks for showing me the find, it looks very intuitive but I had never seen it before and I hope I will be able to learn it and use it in the future.
When you see Shye229 as a setter, you know your in for something different. i was yelling at you about the 6 in box 7 & then the 3 in r1/c5. I'll have to give a listen to that podcast as the whole strong/weak concept escapes me. Much easier for me to just use colours
nice! found the exact wing and explained it beautifully
Great puzzle! I also really enjoy the more esoteric wings :)
Just absolutely brilliant Shye!! Exceptional explanations of different wings Rangsk!!!
@@Rangsk hola, no entiendo lo de las alas , me lo puedes explicar. M.gracias

Brilliant solve! I couldn't have done it without this video!
10:18 for me. One of the easier advanced puzzles. I'm not very good at these. But this one was very approachable. Thank you!

I didn’t find that wing, but made the same deduction via an AIC which forced a 3 in box 9. Nice puzzle!

very nice to approach it mathematically (propositional Logic).
9:20 for me. Lucky me I spotted the wing quite fast
11:22 with basic NYT - spotted a rectangle of 7s in the middle stack, which pointed to the 7 in r9c5 - everything unwound after that
I would never have spotted that logic chain on my own. I understand the logic, but how to find it escapes me.
This wing was pretty tough to understand.
still dont understand the y wing
I have an older video where I go in-depth on the Y-Wing and XYZ-Wing, which maybe will help? ua-cam.com/video/6yaj_i0RyEc/v-deo.html
