I love how you always emphasize that lashing is a luxury! Before taking a course I was one of those people who thought $80 and up was too much for lash extensions but my outlook has changed so much since watching your videos. I definitely am working my ways towards being an artist!
What adhesives do you use? I’m struggling to find a good quality one 😩
💖💖💖
I need to increase my price honestly
I need to to invest more
Thank you so much for this video 👑👑
Yess charge you’re worth!!
We differentiate Lash Artist from Lash Tech by what you said, but also by the tools they use.
Lash Artist = On the spot hand made volume & continuing education, time consuming fabrication designed specifically to the individual.
Lash Tech= Premade fans, easy stick base, 2 day training. Timed back to back clients with no speciality.
Eyelash extensions were not designed for the poor.
So, lol. Some people shop at Walmart and some shop in boutiques.
Not sure if I agree with the statement "If they don't commit and don't pursue lashing FT there is no point in investing in a class." I work FT to help support my PT lash business that I am trying to build. Was I mistaken with your statement or could you provide some clarity on this? (Like I have to help support my family so I can't lash FT yet, but I still have passion to try to be a great artist.) I think it just depends on your level of tenacity to be an artist not necessarily if you are FT or PT.
Let me clarify and be very clear, because me myself started this while also having another job! Once I realized how much money could be made in this industry I quit and decided to do lashing full time. It’s a commitment (will not fail because it cannot fail because this is my ONLY option now) if you are working pt to eventually make it ft then you are on the right track!
This statement was direct towards anyone who is looking to lash as a side hustle, easy money. If you consider lashing another career another form of true income this is different
But I talk to a lot of people who think lashing is just another way to make easy quick money. This is not the case. This is an industry and craft that takes a lot of effort and time.
Also, if you have still having to work 2 jobs. You aren’t doing the business side of lashing correct. You can make over 100k a year in this industry if you understand the business side of this industry.
@@Lashesbykins ... I get what you are saying now. Thanks for the clarification. 😉
You know, you made me really sit and think about this.... thank you... I will invest more in myself because I dont want to just be a "tech" i want to learn and level up my education so i can make more money because i value myself.and my clients ! Thank you mamas _tntlashes
I really didn’t know the difference and I guess I am a lash artist I eat breath and sleep lashes! I’m so passionate about this and have been forever!
This was definitely needed for me. I'm currently in school for esthetician and want to start learning lashing but also wondered how can I set myself apart in a saturated business. This gave me the motivation, helped kickstart some ideas I had. Thank you!
I’ve spent the last year committed to perfecting my craft and really diving into the chemistry of glue, bonders, primers, etc. Perfecting my technique, buying only the best products, etc. Our prices aren’t based on their budget. Our prices are based on our skills. If we don’t value ourselves, our clients won’t value us either. This is a luxury industry. ❤️❤️❤️
Loved this just what i needed to enter a new year to improve myself as a lash artist
Love you, i appreciate the info alwaysss!!
4:30 - 8:20👍🏻
Wow. Thank you for this pod. I understood the difference between an Artist and a Tech as a beginner. Now I know that I need to buckle down for real. Your the bomb. I am even picky on whom I follow when it comes to this industry. Yet I am still learning and I take my work seriously. Again, thank you, be blessed. 😘
I feel so bad when she said if doing it as a side hustle, then you're a lash tech. Because I'm doing this as part time at the moment and I define myself as a lash artist, I paid for my course and continue to learn, I enjoy creating the "art" on clients. It takes me a long time to do a set, I only take 2 or 3 clients whenever I'm free. 🥲🥲🥲🥲 Making money 💰 isn't my main priority at the moment, I want to be up my skills and just enjoying and learning more. Can't say if just a side hustle, you're a lash tech and not an artist. lol
Omg I love this video and to be artist not tech I love the artist tedious side of learning lashing and wanna my work
I needed to hear this! And not I’m super excited to start my journey as a lash artist
Great info, makes me feel better about what I charge and my slower rise in the industry ❤️
Slow down... yes thank you for the reminder 🙏🏼
wow this really opened my eyes in the lash world. Thank you!
👏🏼 agree with with the client numbers ..
🥰🥰🥰
How do we get in on this class?
lashesbykins.com/collections/lash-academy
Wow!! Lashing is my full time job, I worked at a salon and I had to do lash sets in “X” amount of time.. I was starting to get a little discouraged bc I was starting to believe I was taking too long if I took 3-4 hours on a set! 😞
thank you for encouraging me!!
4 hrs? Noo boo bye
