We cannot buy every player who scores against us. One major weakness in Arteta’s system is the inability to identify future talents, a skill that Arsène Wenger excelled at. Instead of going for players like Isak, we spent nearly the same amount on Havertz, and now Isak is valued at around £150 million. I have been saying to my mates for years. I would love to sign Rashford. I’ve always wanted him at Arsenal but not as a winger but as an out and out striker. I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes but Rashford pointed in the right direction could be deadly.
I am a Arsenal fan! And I am telling you now we won’t win the league with arteta as manager!! As a Manger he doesn’t have that killer winning mentality… he has done a great job but unfortunately I don’t think he is that man to win us the league !
When Henry joined Arsenal we had Wrighty, Bergkamp, Overmas, Anelka easily the best strikers in the league. Arteta comes along sells all our strikers and decides false 9 is how he’s going to win titles. This is insane!
Until he gets injured next month and everyone forgets about him again. Quality player for sure, but putting £150m price tag on a bloke that's never played a season without injury is WILD. If Newcastle play this game of overpricing him, in a years time nobody will be interested anymore
my 5 would be 5. Alphonso Davies, 4. Jules Kounde, 3. Matheus Cunha, 2. James McAtee, 1. Dusan Vlahovic. 4 and 5 would be summer as part of a defence restructuring with Tierney, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko and Kiwior leaving; Lewis-Skelly being promoted. 3 would be in summer as well to bolster left attacking wing with Trossard out. 2 would be in Jan as he could cover the right wing with Saka out, provide an option when Odegaard is injured and possibly start on the left side of Mid 3 to add creativity. Finally 1 would be Jan to give a striker that can score goals, will be active in the box rather than straying elsewhere all the time possibly attacking spaces, allowing for other spaces to form.
1. Arda Guler - outstanding player, can play in the 10 or on the right, would be difficult to pull him away from Madrid but he isn't getting much game time, with Saka out and back up for Odegaard being minimal, we could do with a player like Guler right now. Why not offer a loan with an option to buy in the summer like with Odegaard. 2. Jobe Bellingham - what we lack in midfield right now is a player that will run into the spaces and also a strong ball carrier, I thought about Reijnders but I just can't see that happening, Jobe wouldn't be an enormous fee and the potential he has is massive. I did think about signing a 6 instead, someone like Zubimendi, however I believe Rice is one of the best 6's in the world, he just doesn't play there consistently enough as we don't have a solid 8 so he gets pushed to that role. We don't need a 6, we need an 8. 3. Jorrel Hato - I know, we are flooded with defenders, but with the injuries we have suffered this season I still feel like a signing like Hato would make sense, can play left back or centre back and is only 18, could come in as a left back when Calafiori is injured or under performing and also provides cover for Gabriel and potentially a long term successor. I know we have an abundance in defence, but players like Tierney and Zinchenko need to move on, Tomiyasu is never available and I don't want to see Lewis-Skelly as a left back in the future. Bring in Hato, MLS can shine in the midfield. 4. Rafael Leao - this was the most difficult, it's so clear we need a left winger, someone that can win games and create a goal out of nothing, Leao is that guy. Underperforming at the moment with a struggling Milan side but the talent is undisputed, that is a superstar, we have needed a superstar for a while now. Names I considered were Rodrygo (my ideal but can't see that happening), Kvicha (great player but I believe the fee would be greater than Leao and also seems like Liverpool are closing in on him), Barcola (performing really well for PSG but I think we need a slightly more proven player), Nico Williams ( possibly the cheapest of the lot with the release clause but I just can't see him as the huge goal scorer on the left that we need, at least not now anyway but he has potential). Leao for me makes the most sense, would cost a fee but we need to spend to win trophies. 5. Victor Osimhen - let's be honest, we all want Isak but the money Newcastle want, I just can't see us spending it, as much as he is worth it and would suit us so well. The other option I considered was Gyokeres who would also cost a large fee, great striker, killer in front of goal but again would probably cost upwards of £100million and are Arsenal willing to spend that, as much as we should. Osimhen is an unbelievable striker, don't let your judgement be clouded by the fact he is playing in Turkey. Obviously some issues with him and Napoli, he wants out, they want him out, his loan ends in the summer and then he will only have a year left on his contract, his price will drop due to his situation, not his ability. If we aren't going to spend big on Isak or Gyokeres then Osimhen is most logical option for that killer striker.
Arsenal don't need another young player like Malick Fofana for their future becasue their entire team is super young. what they need to do is commit and splash some money on an established 25+ year old striker who will DEFINETELY score goals.
Everyone keeps saying we need a striker but no one seems to mention that we dont play with someone up front, False 9 play for last few seasons, half of the time we are playing the opposition defenders arent even marking anyone because are striker is out on the wings or back in deep midfield. You cant tell me Arteta isnt directing that type of play, which leaves are transition to attack slow because no ones up front so every team has time to get back into low block.
Buy Sesko. He’s tall and quick and he has both finesse and power. His wages will be cheap and being an Arsenal striker will increase his value over time. Having Havertz up front is the worst part of giroud and none of the best. He is slow to move like giroud but giroud had power and finesse and could pull a goal out of anywhere to compensate. Havertz needs someone to practically deflect it off the back of his head to score. He’s like a slowly moving lamp post. On the left get Williams or Kvaratskhelia. Either will do. Personally, I think we should sell odegaard after he has a run of good games. I think the over reliance on him has ruined our team. Odegaard causes the team to play pin ball style play where everyone other than odegaard just thinks “if I’m passed to, I pass it back”. That works for odegaard to then string the game together by himself but if he’s shut out, injured or has a bad game…no one on the team knows how to progress a passage of play beyond simply completing a pass to the nearest player. Odegaard is also tiny and we need size and grit in our midfield. So far the most impressive CM i’ve seen is Morgan Rogers. He’s 22 and I’ve seen him do literally everything. He can pass, shoot and drive past everyone by himself (and I mean everyone, like a knife through butter). I think he’s as valuable as Rice and will only get more expensive. Get him now! Sell Havertz. We’re in a bad position. We stand to lose Partey, Jorginho, tierney all for free and the squad is getting thin whilst it’s also weak. Add trossard to that list
Neither mentioned the striker Arteta wants, Sesko. That's the player Arteta went for last summer but didn't get and we all know how stubborn Arteta is. He also wants Nico Williams, but again, that's a summer move and Arteta doesn't have back up plans for when a deal can't be made. So expect nothing this window, unless a loan for someone elses cast off can be done, with moves for williams and Sesko in the summer.
Nico Williams, gyokeres, jarred Bowen, antonee Robinson, Xavi Simons. Honorable mention: Alex Baena or Sancet I’m selling Zinchenko, Jorginho, partey, Trossard, Jesus (not anymore cause of ACL) cancelling sterling’s loan. And a number of players over 21 who will never start for Arsenal. There’s money to be made and spent if done properly.
"Still not out of that league cup game even though we are two goals down..." Having hope in Arteta (Mister "internal" solutions) Maaaan Don Ozempic just sums up Arsenal & its fans this season
star player for overperforming Brentford/Bournemouth or a backup to Saka at Arsenal who only plays when the star boy gets injured? I know which one I'd pick to spend my prime years where I'm trying to get a call up to a world cup etc
We need attacking players and not just a center forward. We lack creativity when Odegaard isn’t in form and our wingers aren’t deadly enough. Our center forward is also a dead zone.
Oh look another video about one of sky’s favourite 6 teams. And by the way it’s already been reported that Arsenal can’t afford Isak so you can jog on.
I'm with you on this, I'm so sick of the combined XI segments they do that are always for the same teams, never see a combined XI for Forest/Newcastle which this season would be an interesting debate
If you look at Arsenal past sucsess 1998 They had Anelka They enjoyed the Henry years 99 to 2006 Of course now it's obviously crucial to land Isak he has that Anelka/Henry/Kanu vibe all into one ⭐️
I usually agree with the arsenal supporters guy but not at all in this video... his list far worse than the other. Strengthen our strengths, don't try and introduce another aspect in to the mix and potentially throw the whole balance out. We score plenty of goals as it is
i think Arsenal needs a prolific striker, a target man. Yes it has very capable players but they need one. Since Aubameyang i dont remember Arsenal having one or one that made an impact. Most attacks they produce solidify my opinion because they always seem to think twice on what to do when in the box. A striker enables the attack to always know who to look for and know where they are gonna be at any given attack and Arsenal doesnt have that. Too many opportunities lost bcos there is too much noise in the box
Havertz isn’t there In the box when he needs to be. He just keeps running to assist the winger which is the fullbacks job for the overlap but yet Havertz wants to get stuck in instead of being in position

The way people talk about Isak like he's just "available" is odd to me. We don't talk about Arsenal needing Gakpo, Palmer, Salah or Haaland, because in reality they're in the same category as Isak, unattainable. Newcastle are a few good signings away from challenging for the title.
@@Thegungusthey just undermine Newcastle as a club that's why they think they can get him
Arsenal CANNOT afford Isak now or in the summer!!
They definitely can afford him, but they won't pay the money
@@Dasni12spot on. One of the highest revenue clubs in the world let alone the league… cheap owners would rather pocket the money and spend 50m on sesko who is a good prospect but not ready to go like isak or gyokeres.
@Dasni12 sorry but no chance they can pay 150million with PSR and if they can after paying 100mil for Rice that shows how broken the rules are now
@@Dasni12 They can’t afford him, pal. You’re chatting out of your behind. It’s whether or not 150 million is enough. At this rate, he’s invaluable to Newcastle. You can’t replace a player like that. It will have to be seriously stupid money for them to even think, but on top of that, I’d doubt they’d even consider doing business with your lot considering how you’re trying to prevent them from competing by bringing in all these rules that the cartel has bought in.
@@Dasni12 no we can't.
Arsenal needs £500 millions to sign these players 😂😂
Trust me we ain’t signing no one this window
If you need 5 new players in January to win the league, it's more like saying there's no hope for Arsenal winning the league. Sooner or later Saka and Saliba will try to leave like Van Persie

Isak scores like Henry and Gordon celebrates like Henry. Atleast the Emirates’ cleaner has a Henry hoover 😂😂 nerds
They aren’t going to let this Isak to Arsenal thing go. There is more chance of Saka going to Newcastle than there is of Isak going to Arsenal.
How long does Saka want to play 100 games a season for absolutely nothing to show for it? Not long i think.

Awesome work! Humility in your comedy is unbeatable.
this lot think they could sign mbemo or semenyo as a backup lmao
arsenal fans are absolutely delusional
Not backup but definitely rotation. Top clubs dont guarantee starting places unless you are a key player and/or signed for big money. Even then you must perform.
Semenyo possible.mbuemo no chance
I have been saying to my mates for years. I would love to sign Rashford. I’ve always wanted him at Arsenal but not as a winger but as an out and out striker.
I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes but Rashford pointed in the right direction could be deadly.
Trust me, Rashford doesn’t want to play as a striker
I am a Arsenal fan! And I am telling you now we won’t win the league with arteta as manager!!
As a Manger he doesn’t have that killer winning mentality… he has done a great job but unfortunately I don’t think he is that man to win us the league !
Arsenal fans are even more deluded than Man U fans. You’ve got no chance getting Isak.
Now you have gone to far with the deluded thing 😂.
Personally I'd love Gyokeres but am also keeping close tabs on Liam Delap. Both are so hungry.I think he'll lead the line for England for a while..
When Henry joined Arsenal we had Wrighty, Bergkamp, Overmas, Anelka easily the best strikers in the league. Arteta comes along sells all our strikers and decides false 9 is how he’s going to win titles. This is insane!
I really wish @arsenal & Arteta could see James' list
Those are possible and needed signings.
His whole list would be an engaging revamp to the arsenal squad.
Isak will be going to a big club. Arsenal aren’t quite that.
He will go Barcelona trust me if barca wants him he will go there
Isak iz a average footballer and iz overrated how about tht
Until he gets injured next month and everyone forgets about him again. Quality player for sure, but putting £150m price tag on a bloke that's never played a season without injury is WILD. If Newcastle play this game of overpricing him, in a years time nobody will be interested anymore

Facts. He is in a small club right now
my 5 would be 5.
A striker, talented left winger, creative number 8 and a backup to Saka
They need a backup for saka and proper striker that's it
We need 3 more players right now ,Striker, right front, and left front
Five players? Rediculous! One or two at most. Havertz and Jesus just need to be more clinical

It's been widely reported that Arsenal can't afford him. So keep dreaming Robbie 😂
The only people linking these players to the club is the arsenal fans
Arsenal don't need another young player like Malick Fofana for their future becasue their entire team is super young. what they need to do is commit and splash some money on an established 25+ year old striker who will DEFINETELY score goals.
Vlahovic, Gyokeres & Isak in the same desired list
Fair enough
Saying Arsenal would not win a trophy without saying Arsenal will not win a trophy😂😂😂😂😂
This video is awesome! Humble and hilarious, a ideal combo.
The fact that thumbnail is full of forwards just shows how dire their forward line really is
Everyone keeps saying we need a striker but no one seems to mention that we dont play with someone up front, False 9 play for last few seasons, half of the time we are playing the opposition defenders arent even marking anyone because are striker is out on the wings or back in deep midfield. You cant tell me Arteta isnt directing that type of play, which leaves are transition to attack slow because no ones up front so every team has time to get back into low block.
What arsenal should have done is spend the money they spent on havertz on isak, that’s £65m and keep xhaka. Would have been a much better team
Arsenal can't afford Alexander Isak also Newcastle will win more trophies in the next 5 years he should stay at the toon.
Let’s be real. They ain’t gonna win any league anytime soon. Bottle it every year
I didn't even see Robbie till he spoke. lol
Man already practicing going into hiding when the season collapses.
As long as arteta is the manager he can never buy a forward and someone who can push saka, saka is like god to ateta
mbuemo absolutely wonderful palyer talented left winger good backup saka
Robbie is on the payroll he will never say what he thinks on camera
Robbie with that 0 ball knowledge 😂
Love James’ list! So well crafted and researched.
The title says must sign not will sign so why are bare man getting emotional in the comments 😭😭😭
This whole Isak thing is getting pretty boring, if not even creepy..
Its like some sad case chasing after your lass😂
Nico Williams, gyokeres, jarred Bowen, antonee Robinson, Xavi Simons.
Honorable mention: Alex Baena or Sancet
I’m selling Zinchenko, Jorginho, partey, Trossard, Jesus (not anymore cause of ACL) cancelling sterling’s loan. And a number of players over 21 who will never start for Arsenal.
There’s money to be made and spent if done properly.
How many strikers 🤨
We've as much chance of signing the ghost of Pele than signing a top player in Jan.
"Still not out of that league cup game even though we are two goals down..."

DELAP, DELAP, DELAP, DELAP and............. DELAP. Im begging you, it would be the funniest thing
How it be must to sign 5 players ?is it possible ?
star player for overperforming Brentford/Bournemouth or a backup to Saka at Arsenal who only plays when the star boy gets injured? I know which one I'd pick to spend my prime years where I'm trying to get a call up to a world cup etc
Love how when he was at Coventry, people acted like championship fans know nothing about football when we hyped him. Now everyone wants him
We need attacking players and not just a center forward.
I mean, I doubt a "5 players that can improve Southampton" video will bring as many views🤷♂️

I usually agree with the arsenal supporters guy but not at all in this video... his list far worse than the other. Strengthen our strengths, don't try and introduce another aspect in to the mix and potentially throw the whole balance out. We score plenty of goals as it is
Arteta could get a time machine and get prime 2011 Messi at Arsenal
and Arteta would still manage to mainly score from set pieces .
i think Arsenal needs a prolific striker, a target man.
Don’t get me wrong if Havertz focused on being open instead of getting stuck in he can score more goals
