It’s not just about winning and losing. A guy stands on his head for 40mins straight and you can’t even produce a memorable scoring chance the rest of the game. These guys better come out acting like a team with something to prove next game. They owe to the guy who gave them every chance they could ask for tonight. Both road losses, whenever the game lulled or could go either way, you KNEW it favoured Vancouver.
Pickard was the best player in the game tonight. Nurse sucks! Powerplay was a no Show. No physicality . Vancouver was more punishing than we were. Time line was a no show. Can’t happen. This was the first game in the series where Vancouver carried the play. Credit them, they were energetic and aggressive on the PK, PP was a non factor, barely established the zone, which is bizarre. No margin for error now.

Too many Oilers wait too long before shooting (ie RNH). They give any goalie, and defence, a chance to get set for the shot. Just hit the net and stop trying to pick corners.

Man wtf coach says the 4th line played real well tonight and yet he played them 10 mins..... The 5 players he put out there at the end were among our worst last game. Drai was good but the other 4 we bad. Its just 1 game but man it hurt to watch

We are really about to lose to another third string goalie. I know hill is a beast now but kinda sad that we can’t beat a team with not even there best goalie. Because if demko was playing right now this series would probably be over for us. Something needs to change in net for next season
I don't think Demko is that better than Silovs.
Too many Oilers wait too long before shooting (ie RNH). They give any goalie, and defence, a chance to get set for the shot. Just hit the net and stop trying to pick corners.

The boys realized they underperformed and when the new guy stops in…. Stepped up. We needed a change in goaltending and defensive coaching (we got one of the the two) and yet defensive players keep dropping the ball

The physicality is pretty much the sole reason they've been losing these games so ya, that obviously needs to change. 3/4's of the team is afraid to play the body, not even remotely close to being a deterrent. Embarrassing actually.
