I reccomend investing into the 1000 crown quest to get a blacksmith, its really convenient having a movable repair station whenever you go on quests, you can just explore forever and stockpile/repair whenever you want as long ad you can sustaib yourself from stockpiled food and foraging
@anjarsurya3047 yeah, I've since learned that. Also negotiating can be for either 1 or 3 days. The 1 day contracts don't hurt rep and still give more money.
For berserker tradition, which used to go for 0 Protection I believe, is it still better to go light armor as you're doing or are there upsides to going heavy armor?
@pendantblade6361 I'll be honest, the more I play, the more I feel I need to move into medium and heavy. Light armor just doesn't feel as good as it was before.
@GatheringtheMagic1984 I saw that. Keep it up. Also I think I'm pretty rotten willow buy barrel at a high rate especially at the first visit due to the negative situation from bandits. I'll double check pricing once I get there again with a newer character.
The game is much more unbalanced in areas that I consider important. You spend nearly everything you earn on maintaining equipment and restocking supplies. Wild animals are more difficult to defeat and provide significantly less profit. The loot is much less rewarding, both in cities and dungeons. While the RtR update is fun in some aspects, it has its downsides for these reasons in my pov.
@rafaelgmota oh yeah, enemies and wildlife both disappear if they flee to another tile. That stinks, considering they can chase us to other tiles, but we can't.
Its feeling to me like the jump from 2 stars to 3 stars is unrewarding, tier 4(?)+ weapons and heavy armor is super expensive both to buy and repair. You get just crap money from everything but the undead dungeons and they're hard because necro bosses feel overtuned. Also not enjoying always getting 37% fatigue and passing by the end of floor 2. Anyway I don't even think plate armor alone is enough really from what I've tried, without block off of heavy shields or 2h swords you'll get a bad pull where your glass cannon runs out of steam or gets hit by a big attack or a condition and fights can snowball away from you. I've been trying to do casters but the damage from pure spells is so poor at low/mid level is just a slog and unfun.
@rotm4447 yeah, it seems the devs want us in heavy for melee. It's sad that I can roll into t2 dungeons with a decent set of medium gear and still end a fight worse for wear. The fatigue is bad too. Since they removed it from vigor and now maje you spend points in survival, it's rather annoying.

You can actually nego the reward on quest using option 3 ,but the quest must be done in 24 hour in game for about 20-25% more gold

@@6XxRafaxX9 yup exactly. The varies between dwarf, elf, and everyone else. Elf are implemented yet tho.

@rafaelgmota I do agree there is balance that needs to be addressed.
@@okmallgaming Yeah, and I also forgot to mention that wild animals disappear when they leave the map. It's so frustrating...
