When I owned my drum company, we did sponsored stuff. Not free but heavily discounted stuff. Everyone wins! They feel they worked for it, push your company on tour, you make some money and usually get another client or 2 :)
Fact is, 99.9% of drummers that are good enough to get an endorsement, have been playing long enough to already have a nice kit... Why? Because they've busted their butts for 20 years playing enough small gigs, birthday parties, wedding parties..... etc...etc...etc.... to pay their light bills, car insurance.....blah blah.... Plus working a 9 to 5 and still making time to practice. Its those kind of drummers who eventually get a serious spot on a leading tour group.... (and still aren't rich like the singers they play for, but are staying true to their music, and taking pride in the equipment they have earned to keep it clean and polished...) THOSE are the musicians who deserve an endorsement. Not the drummers who play untuned kits with dirty cymbals in their mothers basement.
Untuned ‘n dirty can create a new direction. I don’t tune much, just sit down & play when ma is grocery shopping. I enjoy thee odd out of tune boing rim shot. We have more notes to choose from when every lug is what it is. Ultimately you’re correct, nobody cares what I’m doing. Though I’m not one of them, I’m a newbie Outlaw Drum fan.
Dad was right about earning something with hard work. You pay for the craftsmanship. Noble & Cooley doesn't give away their drums and neither should you.
exactly!!!!!!! I get this all the time since I been an artist... Like i worked hard to get there others should respect the fact to do the same! I agree Mike!
Agreed! Plus I saw some bonus footage of my new kit in that video. It’s looking real nice. See y’all at NAMM.
Niantic Music it’s boxed up and ready!!!

Endorsements are like turtle shells. If you dont already have one ... then you probably dont need one. Or is it the other way around...
