Rock Garden Chandigarh

There is a sculpture garden in Chandigarh, India, known as the Rock Garden of Chandigarh. In 1957, a government official started building it secretly in his spare time under the name Nek Chand Saini's Rock Garden of Nathupur. The site covers 40 acres and is entirely constructed from industrial, household, and discarded materials.
It is located near Sukhna Lake. It is composed of interconnected waterfalls and sculptures made of scrap and other kinds of waste (bottles, glasses, bangles, tiles, ceramic pots, sinks, electrical waste, broken pipes, etc.) which are arranged in walled paths.
