Very nice work! I've seen videos where they don't glue the panels onto the wall directly but instead install backing 2x4 (or what have you) strips and glue them onto these, what difference would this make?
Thank you! Having the strips would guarantee that you attach the panels onto some kind of structure. Ideally, the strips would be installed into the wall 2x4 so everything is secured. But you do have to deal with additional thickness since the panels are directly applied to the wall.
Did you use a combo blade for ripping/cross cutting on your saw? Looking to do a plywood paneling in our livingroom area on a fairly small space and have access to a miter and table saw, so checking out my options for how to best cut without chipping.
I try to use a high tooth count blade like 80T, but if I use a combo blade then I would tape the cut line to help with any tear out. Also having a zero clearance inset.
first time viewer and new sub. enjoy your videos, even though i know nothing about home improvement whatsoever. but watching these videos are relaxing for some reason.
I love your videos! Ny native language isnt english and im using the metric system. So im alittle confused when you said that the dimensions are 5foot, 6inches. Is this a mistake or do i missunderstand? 6 inchess seems way too thick😅?
Please, in the future videos, either make the music parts the same decibels as the voice, or 10%-20% lower, everytime when you stop talking and the music comes in, i have to lower the volume, and when you go back to talking i have to raise the volume, thank you! Great job by the way!
What was the thought process for finishing the panels before cutting to size?
Mainly schedule. We didn’t finalize the size early on so it was faster to finish the panels instead of waiting.
I have a question - why isn't the TV in the middle? Also, I wanted to say that your work is great and I really love it!
It's centered along the length of the wall. The pattern doesn't cover the entire length which is what the client wanted.

hey, nice shirt during the shelf sanding segment!
I wonder where it came from 🤔

Thank you!
Beautiful work
Thanks man
Awesome 🙌🙌
Thank you so much!
Great video. Nice install. Gorgeous and unique. Awesome job. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Thanks so much man!
Great job like usual!
Thank you!
What white shade paint did you use for the wall? Love the undertone.
Thanks! This was an existing house, so I'm unsure of the color
Great video! Is there a small wood strip that you used on the sides, or did you just take the plywood and run it up against the corner of the walls?
Thank you! It's a sight gap at the edge
@@DesignCraftWorkshop thanks! For someone who is a 2/100 in woodwork, what is a sight gap?
@@djdynamiksoundz9166 it depends on taste. I try to keep consistent gaps so in this case it was 1/2” between all the panels

Thank you! I believe it was the length of the boards. 5ft6in would be around 1.67 meters
@@DesignCraftWorkshop Ah i just realised that i completly missunderstood. Thanks for your answer! Im thrilled to see your next video!
You must do quality work! Looks like a repeat client. The room in the background looks like one from your other video! Good job!
Yes it is. Thanks I try my best
Great video again. But the music in between is way to loud compared to your voice.
Thanks! I’ll be sure to keep that in mind for the next video

Noted!
Too bad the TV is not centered with the panels and the shelf is weirdly placed.
Asymmetry was the goal
Wall looks good. His smudgy tv looks terrible!
Thank you! he still had his protective plastic on the tv
