Ecoflow 800W Alternator Charger & Delta 2 battery. Perfect! Took me a few minutes to install. Top grade cables included, and provides top-grade instant performance and charging without hassles. Plus everything can be controlled and monitored remotely from the phone app.
@@ProjectCamperjust to add about the Ecoflow, I’ve got the Delta 2 with the ECoflow alternator charger, simple and brilliant, charged at 67 amps 800w and can also reverse charge from the Ecoflow to your started battery 👍
Great video mate and just done the Scotland 500 first time and was on my own and really loved living in the van completing the trip in 6 days. Stay safe and warm fella 🙏
Great video again, I actually had one of those units and found it was still too slow charging the bluettis. I took it all out and went back to using my 1000w inverter connected to my vehicle battery and just plugging the power stations in to that, acts as if its on mains charging which it 10x quicker to charge them up
Hi, great informative video as always. In the short time I have been watching I have learnt a lot from your channel. I look forward to seeing the Scotland tour.
Thank you for sharing your up grades. I only have a quarter to what you have maybe one day il add extra. Hope your keeping well 😊 is it only me that can’t find your membership bit?
Charger1 from BLUETTI does OVER 600 WATTS from battery to power Bank, same has Dc to Dc,and it works with othrr power Bank..hope it helps you.yer skills with electronic side are top notch..
i have split relay connected to 12 volt 100 ah battery running a pure sign wave inverter then plug in my power station 480 watts charging all the until station is full
I have a spare 800w victron inverter and I’m going fit that and see how many watts it pulls because the allpowers r2500 charge rate when on 240v is over a 1000 watts, I’ve been testing stuff during the week so maybe more updates 👍👍
Can I pick your brains, I've got a 2002 Mercedes sprinter fitted with a sterling power b2b (latest models) rated at 40amps. I'm looking at installing a bluetti charger 1 to also charge my bluetti power station , as I understand your alternator needs to be at least 50% more amperage than that of your dc to dc charger. Can I up grade my alternator to let's say at least 150amp output to include bluetti charger 1 without the need to upgrade alternator cable size and relevant fuses ? Thanks in advance Paul
Hi Paul I’m pretty sure that the standard alternator fitted to sprinters is 180amps, if your alternator is a standard Mercedes there is a white sticker on the black plastic cover and on that will be written what amps it puts out around 1000rpm and upwards. You can always put your registration number into euro car parts website and look at the replacement for it and look at the amp rating. You can then look for a higher amp rating, if you’re sprinter engine is the 2.0/2.1/2.2 then you just have look at the regulator specs because if its a 13.75 volt then it has be matching as the ecu will not accept 14.5 volts and the ecu will go into over voltage protection, as the fuse box is also on the Mercedes LINbus system that checks for blown lights . If it’s all matching then the LINbus will be happy and the voltage will stay the same but with a higher amp rating so will cope with extra loads like a Dc2dc charger. On cable size 70mm square should be fine if you running from the front to rear. The bigger the better for minimal voltage loss. The fuse rating should be match to the sterling instructions because that has to be the weakest link as not to over heat with resistance. It’s quite complicated with Mercedes as there electrical system is very complicated. A bit long winded but hopefully useful to you.👍👍
@ProjectCamper amazing reply, thanks a million for your fast response. B2b already installed as been full timing for 10 years now , the new sterling power models are so much more efficient. Got 200amp of relion lithium batteries, but now the winters here , I'd like to buffer the power with my a200 bluetti their original one . Charges at about 450watts AC power brick , so charging with my victron inverter is not an efficient way . Hence the bluetti charger 1 looks like an option. Got a little ecoflow river 2 I charge up in the gym is handy for me electric throw but that's about it. But small enough to discreetly tuck into me sports bag ........ Another sneaky van life hack .
@ProjectCamper hi buddy, had a look at my alternator, no sticker on it , and couldn't see any markings. Doesn't help it's a dirty little bugger , is there any other way to tell what the amp rating it is ? Will a clamp on multi meter suffice?
Yes you can try a amp clamp but it will only measure the load being used and not it’s rated output, have you tried putting your reg into euro car parts as it’s a great way to see the specs for a replacement even though you want more amps you can see what the standard alternator is 👍
Hi Sean, I want to run a chinese diesel heater,a couple of usb lights and charge my phone. What is the smallest size lithium battery I could get away with ? I have a portable 100w solar panel for charging it. Any advice/recommendations would be great .👍 Ps bare in mind, pennies are tight as I wasn't that lucky Euromillions winner 😂🎉

Glad you enjoyed it, it’s so stunning
Once your system works use it. Draw a wiring diagram for each job you complete. As we get old we forget. Enjoy your van life and knowledge gained.

great update on your charging power thanks for share on channel thanks keep up the great vlogs and travel vlogs thanks lee
I feel your pain mate. I used the same cable to parralel my batteries and to my inverter. Fun fun fun 🙏

I need to do this myself this week, what is the size cable u opted for please
Ive gone for 70mm squared from @12voltplanet
Just get the Bluetti charger....does what it says on the tin.

Is that an xt60i cable or just xt60 ?
@@andrewcolella1755 it’s just the xt60, unfortunately allpowers don’t use the xt60i on the R2500
