Gojo vs Sukuna - Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 OST (Fanmade)

- I decided to make a fan theme based on the Gojo vs Sukuna fight going on in the manga right now. This is the most ambitious project I've done and it's still a bit of a work in progress. I'm quite pleased with how the first part came out and that part is more or less done. I think the second part is decent but I do think it could be better. Especially the drums, which keep getting drowned out. As always, it feels my lack of mixing and mastering skills continue to hold me back, but I will continue to improve on that front.
Anyways, the first part is meant to be darker, more sinister to represent Sukuna while the second part is meant to be more quick and airy to represent Gojo. I tried to take some inspiration from the theme "Working Overtime" from the Jujutsu Kaisen soundtrack, but I'm not entirely satisfied with it. I might rework it entirely when I revisit this piece in the future.

Dude, this absolutely slaps!!! I especially love the first half, it's so intense! The second half also sounds great I just couldn't really envision it playing during an epic fight^^
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I agree, I think the first half is great, but the second half doesn't fit. It's more of a placeholder for now because I was having trouble writing something to represent Gojo, so that second part is rather rushed. I don't think it's a bad theme, I just think that theme would be better used in a different piece. As a result, I do want to revisit this and make a better second part to it as well as maybe a third part.
Funny enough, I disagree, I think the second half is a lot better and is very satisfying for a fight makes me feel like "damn this is his final battle" . Keep up the good work. @@MoodyBeautifulAnimeandVGMusic 👍

Hello everyone. I got a lot of positive reception on the Toji theme I made, so I wanted to try my hand at more fan music for Jujutsu Kaisen. This piece in particular has been a massive undertaking and is still a work in progress. I have other obligations to take care of so I have to put this theme on the backburner for now, but I at least wanted to show you guys what I got done so far and see what you all think.

awesome work!! the transition at 0:55 was especially cool. i feel like it could be interesting to weave in the chanting-type singing because in osts related to sukuna this season, we’ve heard that a lot!
Thank you very much! I was thinking the exact same thing. Once I heard the chant type choirs in Sukuna vs Jogo and Sukuna vs Mahoraga, I knew I had to include them in a rework of this track. I even have the exact virtual choir that Yoshimasa Terui used for those tracks, so I'm excited to remake this track.

So coming here after the latest chapter. Never thought I'd cry over an anime character before.
Bro I watched countless anime including Naruto, hxh and bleach and never got sad over any sort of character loss I even thought at one point that maybe I lacked the emotions to connect to anyone and maybe sad stories weren't for me
That's why gojo was my favorite character in all of my life including any tv shows, anime or games. He was just so cool and badass and had a great backstory the only time I got sad was on geto's death only after the hidden inventory got animated, because animation has a greater impact on emotions than pictures. Gojo's death wants me to forget what jujutsu kaisen is, undo all the fun, or maybe wish I could change the world of jjk.
I was really happy over gojo's unique victory in 235. Then I was listening to ao no sumika orchestral (im on mobile so can't send the link)
The song is my most favorite anime opening after specialz and the orchestral version is majestic with a gojo-only artwork which always gave me the inspiration of "hope for tomorrow" or "dawn of a new day" "live to see another -day- jjk episode
But I scrolled through the comments (forgot it was Wednesday) and read the comments like: you will always be in our hearts gojo satoru
I was confused and was like is this guy watching hidden inventory then saw another one: rest in peace, you'll always be the strongest to me
I swear as the music that already made me feel sad was playing and gojo's beautiful artwork was in front of my own two eyes my heart shattered and I couldn't believe it then I checked the spoilers and I kept crying, intentionally and subconsciously I was tearing up
I still can't believe it gojo's gone. I checked the jjk fandom yesterday to see gojo's profile and it said "deceased" that hurt me so bad even though when gege said gojo doesn't matter to the plot I knew something would happen to him. But I had faith in gojo which was left alone in a scary empty dark void
And you can't imagine my frustration that gojo had to die because he was too strong and was on the good side. While the much weaker sukuna using mahoraga was allowed to live because he was a villain. The way gojo died...
...he's so strong that even gege couldn't kill him even though he had the power to kind of overwrite jjk reality and it looked so stupid. It actually made the fraudkuna trend true. but I'll never forget the panel with gojo's upper body. He looked so beautiful even in death.
I know this was a lot of stuff to read and write for the both of us but anything for our honored one
