We orator chiefs of Samoa still chants the Tui Tonga as part of our family because he is in the Samoan "Fa'alupega" son of Tui Manu'a Fitiaumua, our Tamali'is(High Chiefs) still acknowledge the history of Tagaloalagi the founder of our culture as the head of kings, we Samoans have four paramount kings that still have close relationship with the Tui Kanokupolu royal family, these kings are known as "Tama a Aiga"(Royal families) there are four titles holders Tamali'i-1(Malietoa/King) Tamali'i-2(Mata'afa/King) Tamali'i-3(Tuimaleali'ifano/Tui A'ana/king) Tamali'i-4(Tupua Tamasese efi/Tui Atua/king) the fifth5 one was Tui Manu'a but that title doesn't exist anymore, every time there's a Samoan meeting in the village of Falealupo in Savaii Islands or here in Upolu on the village of Lotofaga, or even in Manu'a islands in the village of fitiuta, Tui Tonga is always chanted by our orator chiefs because Tui Tonga was the son of Tui Manu'a Fitiaumua so we Samoans cannot forget the Tui Tonga kings, if yous Tongans think we're different well guess what our Tamali'is(Kings) are really close, including Tui Fiti the king of is also the son of Tagaloalagi, any kings that has a Tui title is descended from Tagaloalagi
The Tui Manu’a title was created by Tui Tatui. Manu’a (Manuka in tongan) means ‘To Wound’. They bestowed the Tui Manu’a title to the 11th Tui Tonga who was Tui Tatui, because he was the first Tui Tonga to get the traditional tattoo. Tongan kings were considered too holy and cannot shed blood in any way including warfare or tattoo. But Tui Tatui wished to shed blood and get the tattoo hence why they called him Tui Manuka (first king to shed blood/wounded) Samoans are closer to our royal family because most of the kings had Samoan women as wives and all the banished royals went to samoa. They took there house names from Tonga to Samoa hence why we have similar village names eg. Ahau/Asau etc Our royal girls blood were considered too pure and cannot marry Tongans or Samoans so they went and marry Fijians. The Tangaloa clan however lived in Langi. They did not live in the skies 😂😂 Langi is the king’s land/house, Fale is for the chiefs and ‘Api for the commoners. Throughout the whole pacific, Langi can only be found in Tonga.
😂😂😂😂u know shit😂😂😂😂😂TAGALOA'S original name is Sa tagaloa Eitumatupua and he was born in manu'a fitiuta and his father and Mother Vitianaloa and Nafanua.......tagaloas grandfather pulotu gave him the title to be the highest ranked chief warrior and you guys claimed him as god...... the truth hurts😂😂😂😂😂and this is facts even okusitino mahina said this and all samoans know this shit...........and by the way leave all this shit behind and let's become tokouso because what happen in the past stays in the past.....I got love for all my toko brothers out there...peace

Tangaloa Eitumatupu'a is not the same as in the Samoan traditions Tu'iManua TaeoTagaloa Folasa... Though he has the Tagaloa name Tagaloa established Tu'i titles It doesn't meet the time frame ... TuiManua TaeoTagaloa is #5 or #7 in the succession list of Tu'iManua TuiManua #40 Elisala passed 1909 ...so 35 title holders back does not predate TuiTonga Ahoeitu ..... Also the false claim he was a defied Samoan chief....if that were so being that his father is a foreign High chief from Samoa ...Ahoeitu would have no right or claim to any title in Tonga ....he would have claim in Samoa maybe but not in Tonga....Even if Ahoeitu's mom was of noble birth ...no chief is installed chief on account of his mother...
bro what I'm saying ahah samoans just make their own version of our Tongan history and run with it like its facts lmao. also worth stating that ngata only became Tui Kanokupolu because his Tongan uncle (dads older brother) didn't want the title and instead advocated for his nephew to take it and samoans run their mouths like ngata got his title because of his samoan mother lol

Kohai koau mo momo or maui tangaloa and pulotu were the highest title in Tonga not God they lived in the stone mound siaheulupe and langi in Tongatapu to serve the one and only Tuitonga! Tokatufa umutakitaki practices with Royal blood that is how manua island get their highest chiefs! Tangaloa means Tangata Tonga or the highest like ietonga highest gift ahu o tongaliki moai statue Tongariro matangi tonga sacred wind! Maui clan built the haamonga a maui stonework in Tongatapu located where time begins dateline today around 2000 years ago! Tuitonga Momo built pulemelei around 800ad from the story of uno o sangone! Kauulufonua fekai built Tototonga talietumu fortress around 1200ad as punishment of tamasia and malofaha assasination as captured in uvea island brought to Tonga for Kava ceremony they chewed the kava! They were taste like raw fish!🤗 Tuitonga Momo Puipuifatu Fangaoneone Takalaua Havea 1 Havea 2 Lomiaetupua as Talakaefaiki 1 Tuipulotu Fatafehi Telea Talakaefaiki 3 were lived in Samoa Is👑peace
@@HAMOEVACHEEHOOO ALL OF aho eitus brothers have tongan names why is that if they are all full samoan?
@@wg137 agree this makes so much sense!
Good watching this short films

We have stories similar to this in Maoridom, Atua who had demigod children with mortal women.
Pretty Awesome 😎
different... tnx
It nice and I love it
Apparently aho eituus father tangaloa was a man who ruled manu'a island and hes name was tagaloa...
Help me reach yeah uso I'm over this samoan tongan bs. When it comes down to it we are all brothers n sisters. I got mad love for my uso around me an they all know it. TOKOUSO MOVEMENT is what i represent. Cause at the end of the day we are Polynesian family✊ ofa atu uce.
Nope, Ahoeitu descends from the Ha’a Tangaloa Clan that resided in Langi like many of his descendants after (e.g Ahoeitu to Laufilitonga). Langi is Tonga as Ahoeitu was said to reside there also, he’s only ever lived in Tonga. Great short film 🇹🇴💯
@@helpmereachplzplz 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that might be a fairytale in your village ....
I know that the 5th Tu'iManua is Tae o Tangaloa .😂😂😂.. lol which has a bad translation in Tongan ...your mistaken to say that the Tangaloa from our oral traditions is the son of Nafanua ...
You keep throwing Dr. Mahina hearsay bull crap...of what you read on Wikipedia and Wikiwand and Coconet of the spoken in myth and legend of the prehistoric empires 😂😂😂😂
Real facts #40 TuiManua Elisala passed in 1909. ..that list will fall short in predating the Tuitonga..
Burley's archeological Lapita findings in Nukuleka Tonga 2013 named tonga cradle of Polynesia...predating the findings in Samoa back in 1973
@@renegade9064 Tonga is the only grouo of islands that have Langi....and where Tangaloa lived was always referred to as Langi...
Loved this 💙
Tangaloa's (Latu is real name) real life son Maika is the one that did the kupesi (tribal tat) on my right arm. Good film, didn't know Latu had these acting skills. I wonder if there are more w/him in it. RIP
Kai Ta'e koe. Lol.
What is the rock behind the king when he is sitting down ??
A bit like 'jack and the beanstalk'
I bet the whites stole this story and rewrote it

They look so Māori, I thought Aho’eitu and Tangaroa would Hongi.
😂😂i would say the other way round as they are māori ancestors & we (māori) are the tribe/s who gapped it😅
Dam soo crazy how the power to rule is always handed to the youngest in Tonga lmao

Main guy was hot as hell, even the other brothers too

malo ae ngaue lahi ko eni ke mamata ae fanau tupu oe fonua malo e ngaue
Tangaloa Eitumatupu'a is not the same as in the Samoan traditions Tu'iManua TaeoTagaloa Folasa...
Though he has the Tagaloa name Tagaloa established Tu'i titles
It doesn't meet the time frame ...
TuiManua TaeoTagaloa is #5 or #7 in the succession list of Tu'iManua
TuiManua #40 Elisala passed 1909 ...so 35 title holders back does not predate TuiTonga Ahoeitu .....
@@tulounalelagi2150you can’t reply???😂 you Samoans want our history so bad get away your not worthy enough for Tongan traditions the real conquers of the South Pacific everywhere in Polynesia is influenced by Tonga even your little ufa island

Back then it was used for the sails on the boat, but before they were to meet the king they had had to wear it in respect, or when times were scarce
