For those who said you can't find iron in 1.18.1 the best level for iron is 16 you will find huge veins of iron easily. Diamonds you wanna mine at -58/59 and centipede method.
Or you can go to the very high point on the mountain
people not being able to find any iron vs. me finding a vein and getting 9 stacks in less than 2 hours

Tbh I usually kill an iron golem for iron then get diamond skip over iron and just get the few I need for buckets and shield etc while strip mining

You know that child play where one kid makes up the rules and is main character? This one is having such fun and emotional moment while others are bored with like "whatever, yeah, you best, we lost, we dumb. Are we good to go do some other stuff?". This manhunt was exactly like that

I loved the perspective switch. You don't see that in a ton of the manhunts. It made it look really cool, especially since we could see what each person was up to in their separate dimension. It looks really smooth as well. I'd love to see this in future manhunts.

I hated it, honestly. It was too erratic, too sporadic.
It barely stays on one person for more than a minute. I'll admit to only having seen the first five minutes because it's so disorienting to watch. It needs to be better if this is going to become a trend, it's too dizzying right now imo.

The end fight was definitely disappointing, you and Dev are great at pvp so it would have been super cool to see almost anything else but the insta-kill strat, especially right off the bat like that. It felt like wasted potential to have Dev in the end, getting stacked pretty much the whole time as he waits for you for who knows how long it took, just to leave him hanging and with no chance to get to you or anything in a 5-10 minute end "fight" (not considering cut out bits). Also, I felt bad for Jack, he doesn't seem to be at your level and it was clearly tough for him even before you got to the nether, it started to sound like he wasn't having as good a time as everyone else.

@@mee2556 yeah, from the beginning where we are told about Dev being in the end because he's great at close combat, it gets our hopes up of a good fight, only to see all that time pretty much wasted and like the worst way to kill a dragon in a manhunt. Boosfer had full netherite with pretty good enchants and Dev only had half diamond with decent enchants, so I just don't see why Boosfer didn't try and fight him at all.
I think if you rerun this again there's a stipulation that you must have killed each hunter once in the dimension to travel to the next. Though this might mean the runner need a compass to find the hunter if they hide.
I love seeing Jack in these videos bc its a perfect representation of what the average audience member would fare like in one of Boosfers videos xD

True the end fight was just awful
Yup, Jack in the nether was totally awful, I am not shitting on him but it's clear he isn't the best of hunters, he couldn't even pull a single actual fight against Boosfer. All the interactions were so one-sided, and the hell of minecraft just came out to be a peaceful and developmental phase for Boosfer. Also Dev was so stacked, he spent so much in end and could have collected few stacks of ender pearls, but when Boosfer did the glitch and towered up, he didn't even tried going there. He could have thrown 2-3 good pearls and knocked Boosfer down.

@@mee2556 Yup, I saw this msg of yours in another comment thread, I think it's ok he did it, but he should try not doing it again. Also I would love to see him uploading unedited vods, not for checking purposes, but I think every aspect of manhunt can't be covered in the video.
I feel like this should definitely get a rematch. Not only would it give the hunters a better idea of what they could do more/better, but maybe they’d have a more idea of what’s more important (distracting the speedrunner, traps, or collecting resources). Boosfer did say that Bubbo could’ve dropped resources to Jack through the portal, so that could’ve been incorporated.
The video was overall entertaining, but the end was a bit iffy. Bubbo did fantastic in distracting Boosfer, but Jack I feel didn’t know what to prioritize. Jack struggled with resources, most importantly food, but with the little time Boosfer was in the Nether, he found many materials. Jack focused on the Nether fortress loot instead of also trying to find Bastions at the same time. Nothing wrong with Jack (no need for replacing or adding in another hunter along with him), just felt like his approach could’ve used some tweaking. Dev did a great job in what he was working with. The only problem was that Boosfer used the obsidian way in defeating the dragon. Nothing wrong with that, but considering Boosfer had the better armor, it wasn’t needed. Boosfer could easily engage in a fight with Dev without needing to actually use the obsidian way. A few fights and then using the obsidian way would’ve been preferred rather than no fights and just going for that method without much reason.
Technically Boosfer died to Dev and edited it out. You can see him lose his levels at 31:40

The biggest change they need is to use an improved nether so jack isn't just stranded, and to also actually have a climax end fight
Boosfer didn’t even have full prot 1 while dev had 2/4 prot 4 and sharp 4 fire aspect 2 dev had the clear gear advantage
The original idea was so amazing and unique! having to fight a player every dimension while they gear up would of been so challenging and cool! unfortunately, we had a absolute coward as the hunter who completely ruined the possible- best manhunts.

yeah, if i were dev i would be genuinely mad, as he literally had 1 task which was to stack up and wait for boosfer in the end, but when boosfer got to the end he used a cheap glitch to avoid having to fight. dev probably spent like 2 hours grinding just to not even get to play the game
Fr, and cheesing the dragon like that is not a well liked strategy in videos like this because of how anticlimactic it always is, after almost 30 minutes of build up I was excited to see a fight between Boosfer and Dev

The reason it worked well in Dream's video was because he was so outnumbered & outgeared. He had barely a chance of winning and he pulled this play off. This being the first time I myself and most people have ever seen that play being done so it was impressive, iconic and hilarious seeing Sam realise in horror what was happening whilst the audience related to the hunters in their bewilderment about what was going on and why Sam was reacting like that.
Meanwhile Boosfer was OP, rudely taunting Dev who had spent ages gearing up, only to take the easy, scuffed route. I wish we saw the OG ending as honestly it would have been way more entertaining than what ended up in the video. Plus the cheating doesn't help how underwhelming it all was.
@@starace4031 Exactly, and at the end of it all the only people that were upset about the insta-kill were the hunters, but that sort of thing always happens when Dream wins lol, it made sense for Dream, it doesn't here because it was only Dev in half diamond with some lucky enchants and Boosfer in full netherite with fairly decent enchants.
Jack should have had a special nether because it was way too hard for him to get materials and it was not really balanced but it was funny to watch him devolve as the video went on.
Based on how they spoke about him and due to how short the nether is supposed to be i think they did this as a pilot for the fully modded one they plan to do in the future, as well as he was the weakest as a hunter in general so even if he was busted in full gear the fights would have been boring

Dream started in the nether and beat the game so its not that hard to get iron lol
@@puffiyt2881 but he didn't had much time ruined portals spawn very less and if he went in bastion he would like 1000 times and for trading he needed quite a bit of gold with wooden tools which i don't if you can mine that and don't compare him with dream he is very pro at the game jack is good but not quite similar just my opinion and i like both dream and jack though so yeah

If you do a rematch, allow them to unlock the ability to move between dimensions when you get to their dimension so they can still participate late game.
They could’ve still participated but just decided to not, they could’ve easily passed items through dimension, the only one who couldn’t was Dev. I feel next time the hunter’s should come up with some strategy, Boosfer should’ve never been able to leave the end starting platform

even a year later i'm still mad at this video. He had way better armor than dev, did a cheese strat on the dragon which took the fun out of it for everyone except him, and STILL LOST and faked an ending where he won. Like damn making an ending this bad is actually impressive

Edit: Nvm i figured it out, at 31:40 before he throws a pearl onto the side of a tower it cuts and his levels reset. Meaning he mustve died before pearling or theres something shady happening.

At 31:41 to 31:42 you can see he lost 20 levels which obviously means he died and redid it which I'm fine with but the fact that Boosfer redid the "fight" and then just did a glitch? Honestly worst end fight possible
I actually wouldn't mind it if he just died by falling, that could at least be funny and could be referenced in another video. Due to how often they post, they need to allow for SOME early deaths otherwise it's WAY too predictable. They don't need to end it in style every single time.

But if gamerule keep inventory is on (which is applied to all players on the server) how did he lose his levels. When keep inventory is on it still keeps your levels, so I honestly have no clue, I guess there’s two things, 1) It’s some sort of glitch or 2) they added an additional plugin that made it so only the hunters kept their inventory (which seems like a waste of time)

2. Make Jack have a way better time
3. Not cheese the enderdragon

This is a good manhunt idea but I think it needs to be balanced.
He had actually fought Dev but he died and cutted it out. He admitted it on his discord and you could tell in the video when he suddenly loses 20 levels in the end
Y'all noticed how the end is staged like he doesn't have any levels anymore😭 So he probably died and revived himself even though he has OP armour and all that
Lets sum this up.
Normal beginning with super tense fights.
early nether where the person stuck there didnt get any resources because the only mineable things are gold and wood and few food sources so they are basically dead the whole time.
The most interesting part, made more interesting by a custom biome pack reduced to no end fight because Boosfer just wormed away and did a cheap skybridge arrow strat.
There were no stakes! the beginning had some but because the Neather hunter was doomed with no food Boosfer was able to get anything and everything he wanted with no opposition, making steamrolling through the overworld and back to the end possible. Then, with full enchanted netherite, stacked with weapons and arrows, and all the best possible gear, completely avoid any confrontation. Full enchanted netherite, time spent getting diamonds, just to sit on a skinny bridge and bow spam the dragon to death.
I dont know why I watch these videos anymore. Might as well have not had a hunter in the end or nether. I feel especially bad for Jack and Dev. Staged videos feel cheap but this felt tasteless. I suck at Mine craft but I could have won with a starved hunter and worming away like that.
That end "fight" was so awful. Apparently he died and redid the end which I wouldn't care about if he "cheated" because I agree it'd be more entertaining,but then why even bother to do that if you're just gonna have the end be the most anticlimactic ending possible anyways.

Full honesty, had the potential to be my favorite manhunt, but with the nether being a cake walk and you cheesing the end without a fight, it got pulled down. Great moments but dragged down by the awful nether loot and the cheesiest end strategy against ONE person, which felt even worse since it dragged down the great vibe of the brand new end.
If Boosfer does make another video like this, it would be cool if the hunters could travel to other dimensions, but they get special buffs while in their starting dimensions, buffs that would allow them to survive there a bit easier. So they’re not completely locked in one place and are not all forced to face Boosfer alone. Like the person who starts in the Overworld could be immune to fall damage or could swim faster in water or something. The person who starts in the Nether could be immune to fire or the wither effect or both (immunity to wither effect to allow them to more easily hunt the runner in a fortress without dying to wither skeletons as easily). The person who starts in The End could maybe have slow falling while holding the jump button or be able to teleport up to a certain distance in the direction they look, both to allow them to get to other end islands more easily. Something else that would make this interesting is if the hunters can only travel to a certain dimension after Boosfer travels to it for the first time, to prevent the hunters from reaching the Nether or End before he does. Also i saw someone that said someone else would probably be better to start in the Nether and i agree

@@beepboop2021 Well im thinking the slow falling would only be active while the hunter is holding the jump button, allowing them to avoid the slight speed debuff of constant slow falling but still be able to use it to jump further. It would be the same with the teleporting, although im not sure what control would be used to activate it, anything that isnt too intrusive should work

manhunt idea, the hunter have mixed healt, hunter 1 sees hunter 2´s healt and hunter 2 sees hunter 3´s healt and on and on so basically, they have to say to the other, you have that much healt left, eat, or watever. fights are gonna be interesting as they won’t be able to retreat as much as they want

I find these kinda boring now. There’s no challenge for Boosfer. He gets something really overpowered and just beats the enderdragon without his friends putting up a fight. I think he should start doing twists where it helps the hunters, since boosfer is obviously going to beat them if he has an advantage. He literally never loses and it’s so boring.
Ya I agree. While I do like Boosfer bullying them a bit in moderation, it feels like there's no stakes anymore. It's too predictable, and since they post often, we need a change of pace.

The End is survivable without mods. There's food in the form of chorus fruit. You can get diamond tools, weapons, and armor from end city chests. To get to the end island, you can use an ender pearl on a teleporter or theoretically just build a bridge. It would be a really long bridge, but it could be done.

the end fight for this manhunt is what everyone could've been like if boosfer didn't want content but bc he knew dev was gonna be so confident with his end cities and the natural advantage in the end, he was able to make it content by just destroying dev's dreams lol :)

For the most part the manhunt was pretty good, but made this manhunt one of the worst by not fighting Dev, and then acting quite cocky by using a cheap way to win. Would've loved to see a fight between you and Dev, or at least if you realized you were going to lose, then do the cheap way...but at least have a fight for some time with Dev. What exactly was the point of using Dev as a hunter? This was the first video that I disliked

I agree, this manhunt had a pretty good concept and could have been pretty fun one, but ended up one of the worst ones. Still I liked the video, bcuz I feel there is no problem with one bad video among so many good ones. I wrote down the points which made the manhunt bad in a comment, and it's so big I can't type again, so I am copy-pasting it in your reply. If you aren't feeling good, don't read it, it's a pretty long one lol.
It was no doubt a pretty good twist, but it lacked a lot of things.
First, Jack as a hunter sucked, I am not shitting on him but it's clear Boosfer was way better than him and the realm which is considered the hell of minecraft turned out to be the safest place and the place to gear up and become overpowered. Jack showed no real fight, the only interactions they had were so one sided. A better hunter on his place would have been a much better option.
Second, Dev was in the best place, he had to fight Boosfer in the last and he had straight 40+ minutes easily to gear up, which are so more than enough. He could have looted more end ships, but even the amount he looted were good. He had quite good stuff, the one thing I feel he didn't do and should have done is collecting stacks of ender pearls, after collecting any diamond sword, he just needed to build a platform and kill a lot of endermans. Still no problem, he had some, but wtf he did. Boosfer just towered up and he gave up completely, not to forget he had keep inventory so none of the stuff will lose even if failed to kill Boosfer once. He had so much time, and some 3-4 good ender pearls and he would have knocked down Boosfer, but after collecting so much gear, he just gave up, which didn't make much sense to me.
Third, there was almost no communication skills, Jack and Bubbo could have easily transferred a lot of things from one dimension to other, and thus could have brewed potions, enchanted their gear and Jack could then have actually put some fight. Also if they thought about it, Bubbo should have collected gunpowder when in overworld and crafted fireworks and passed them to Dev using end portal, but they didn't even tried thinking what they could have possibly done.
Fourth, Bubbo did some mistakes too. Although he was the only hunter who actually showed some fights, he spent so much time wasting skybasing on Boosfer's portal and keeping an anvil in his hand when he could have collected completely enchanted diamond gears and tools during then, and could have gone for some other stuffs to pass Dev in end too. He has been doing manhunts for a while, so he should have expected that Boosfer can make a different portal too. He did a lot of time waste there.
The manhunt which already had so much issues and was going dull, Boosfer got extremely lucky and got the 4 ingots too. That was hella lucky and made the manhunt super boring. A single or even 2 ingots could have worked, but 4 ingots, that was so op.
Also when Boosfer realized Dev isn't trying to get him, he should have stopped doing it about midway, so he gets the benefit but still there is some fight. Although personally I don't like such moments when speedrunners don't use tactis to get an easy win, but Boosfer have always done his manhunt in entertaining way and not serious manhunts, so people expect him to showcase entertainment. I personally enjoy serious ones more, but if you do serious ones, your hunters need to be serious too and not give up without any reason.
Atlast I should mention I am watching Boosfer, Kier&Dev, Bubbo for a long time and I enjoy and love every single of them, and thus my aim is not at all targeting them or shitting on them. Obviously when they will continuously do manhunts, there will be some which will result not as good as others, so I am not shitting on anyone. The only thing I am tryna do is point out the mistakes, and what could have been done better. I enjoyed this concept and love to see rematches, and thus want Boosfer to reconsider it but in a better way. Also I have no problem with him dying and still continuing, since he doesn't make serious manhunts but focuses on entertainment part, but the only thing I want is he needs to mention them, preferably either in a pinned comment or in description. Also I would love to see him make a vod channel, where he uploads the unedited vods; some manhunts are so good I wish I had the unedited vods too.

Like a lot of people I was disappointed to not see you fight dev in the end even though you had better items than him. The video was good up till that point. This probably would have been one of the best modded manhunt videos but since you didn’t fight dev I’m really disappointed 😔

Honestly, one of the lamest manhunts so far, not even fighting dev or Jack. As a fan, the best moments are the intense moments and Jack and bubbo talking. It would be much more enjoyable if there was a twist to make it more fair, not to help you when you're already better. Overall still a good manhunt because of bubbo and Jack. Maybe try a twist that helps the hunters.
Yeah I found the end fight a absolute middle finger to dev, like a hour thirty grinding to fight and he just shows up, goes to max height and snipes
@@soupy5890 yeah if we are blaming Jack because he didn't do anything in the nether, he have an excuse. The nether is not a place to start with. It's not even a custom nether. If he even found the bastion, can he even get all those stuff without dying many times? I mean he only have stone tool. And all the hope goes to Dev since Dev have the biggest advantage. He can gear up more than the first 2 hunter. He have a custom end. The custom end gives good gear. I thought there will be an end fight but no, if boosfer do the trick after realising that dev would kill him I don't mind but he does it from the beginning to the end
@@mee2556 bubbo is also clearly going to loose, because if the speed runners weren't better than the hunters then they wouldn't do 1v3's, so starting on a level playing field is a major disadvantage. Also, on top of the fact Jack had the hardest spawn, he also had less time than Dev to stack up and is the most causal player by far, and in the end, booster could have had at least fought Dev because even though dev had a couple of good pieces of iron and diamond, prot 1 netherite would completely destroy. I think it would have been more balanced if Kier was there, or the hunters could give the other one things once they were useless. Overall Booster made them play just to lose in one fight and not be able to play again, and the only real redeeming factor were the hunters, really good humor and Jack has an awesome personality.

@@purrpletiger2159 That's funny, because obviously in most manhunts you wouldn't want this ending to happen, but because of that he could have at least fought Dev for a cooler ending, because in my opinion the hunters reaction would have been so much better even if booster died in a lame way. Also, if your going to die in full prot 1 netherite, just make it your ending it was already a good video at least the hunters made it better.

This is one of my favorite videos yet. The perspective switches, the intense battles, the funny moments... I love almost all of it. It felt like a movie to me to be honest. My only issue with it is that you didn't fight Dev in The End. If you actually did rather than cheesing it it probably would've been my favorite to be honest. The rest was absolutely amazing.

History is repeating itself. Boosfer cheats, forgets to remove it from the video, deletes the video, gives a half assed reasoning for cheating, re-uploads the video, deletes any comment mentioning the cheating. It happened with "...but everyone is me" manhunt and it's happening with this one.
Just wondering as I must have missed it, could you let me know what happened in the other manhunt video with cheating?
@@starace4031 During Bubbo's POV near the end of the video when he's playing battleship, the chat messages can be seen which show that Boosfer died of fall damage. People noticed that and he quickly took down the video to "not get cancelled". Then he "explains" in his discord server that he cheated to give us a better end fight (even though he bowed the dragon to death so eh?), and he promises to not cheat again. Now he reuploaded this video without the chat messages, and he's deleting comments that mention the cheating.
Also important thing to think about is that if no one noticed the chat messages, Boosfer would've never apologised. Plus considering that he cheated before it just sounds like a lie at this point.
@@kornelbut Yeah I unfortunately would have to agree that it just seems like it's hard to trust whatever Boosfer posts because what's to say other manhunts are also edited to conceal scuffed/cheating moments. It's just really disappointing.

And yeah I didn't know about the cheating at first so when watching the end fight it just felt so anticlimactic and scuffed. Felt bad for Dev honestly. (He may be cool with it as they are friends/peers but it hurt to watch).
Then to know that that was the 'more entertaining' version of events. Honestly would rather have seen Boosfer's og defeat against Dev.
It feels weird to know that Boosfer is cool with uploading scuffed vids, it's like he just wants to appear better at the game/gamemode when in reality it would be better and more entertaining to see the reality, the good bad and the ugly. But oh well.
