Cangoo tbh I wasn’t either of them but I still worked hard for my grades and to say they aren’t realistic is just annoying like I put in work and so did so many other people just because we put in more work doesn’t mean they aren’t realistic x
Katie Mae yeh I get you, I put a ton of time and hard work in but I feel true colours show for bigger courses such as A-Level at least. Basically what I am saying is that all 8’s and 9’s are unrealistic from just working a long time. I think it depends what we mean by hard work wether it’s thriving off it or Keeping at it no matter what interest. I personally think you need to thrive if them to do well with hard work or you are just naturally talented. There are metrics to what we are talking about here so idk what level you are saying.
Just came back from my GCSE results today. I got everything I was hoping for. I hope everyone else has achieved what they wanted. At the end of a day it’s a piece of paper and doesn’t define your skill. The future does not depend on your GCSEs either. Try not to stress too much. That’s what got me through my GCSEs. Thank you for uploading btw! Congrats on finishing GCSEs!
AlsXD it does kinda define you because if you get low you won’t get into the college u want and if you get low then it actually does matter that mentality gets you nowhere in life
It's probably worse if you fail A levels rather than GCSEs. But still, even if you fail A levels, you can still be successful most likely. Same with GCSEs.
Eeraa Mahmood same lmaoooo, lowkey worried bc the grade boundaries are well low and that means we’re gonna have rlly hard tests and like Im hoping for 6-8s😂
Gl I hope you do well, it isn’t the end of the road though. I failed maths and did resit one 6th form and now I’m on a distinction in business, a distinction star in law and a merit in criminology and all of them require maths
@amxnah x You will do well. Just heads up for you, don’t spend 3-4 hours of revision without rest. Spend like about half an hour of revision if you can and then rest for like about 10-15 minutes. Then build it up. And a bit of advice if you want to get a C in English or above, read books and practice practice past papers and techniques. And also my big advice for you, proof read your essays and count how many words you got in your essays. Because in your first paper( section B), you will have to write about 350-500 words. Paper two (section B), you got two essays to write about- one is an argument and the other is a persuasion and it’s 200-300 words. And if you have extra time and you think you’ve done well with your essays, go back to Section A and fill in other bits you’ve miss. Because that’s how I got my C in English, go back to section A and find where the information you need. Good luck and you will do well. And I will pray for you. God bless.
As a 26 year old who doesn’t even know why they’re watching this, I can’t stress enough how much GCSEs don’t matter at all unless you totally fail them

Everyone who is getting their GCSE results this year, whether it is good or bad, DON’T stress! Believe me the results don’t matter & no employer will ask about your results. The main things colleges etc care about is maths & English WHICH YOU CAN RESIT! A number (or letter as it was when I took them) does not define you! ❤️

I did better than I expected for my GCSE’s and didn’t complete Sixth Form. I’m 25, built a big influence on social media and my own global brand, and founder of a Global Mental Health Organisation, which worked with the Royal Family, received a personal letter from Her Majesty The Queen and invited to Buckingham Palace to meet members of the Royal Family. Oh yeah, I also retired at 22 years old and never have to work a day in my life again (and don’t!). I can live life how I want and not worry about work. Can enjoy my first child arriving in November knowing both me and my fiancée will be at home, with our child, 24/7 365 as they grow up because my fiancée won’t need to work either. I was born in Cambridge and have lived in central Cambridge all my life. I can now enjoy a lovely life with no stress about needing to work to make money again and enjoy a lovely brand new built house we have. Grades aren’t everything. I’ve achieved more than most without amazing grades and college degrees etc before I was 20. If I can receive a personal letter from the Queen at 23 and an invite to Buckingham Palace to meet members of the Royal Family including Prince Harry, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Catherine, and win many other awards and recognition, so can you. Just remember most jobs only ask for a minimum of Maths (C), English (C) and Science (C). If you get that, you really won’t struggle to find a basic job. If you don’t get that, it’s not the end of the world. Feel free to Google my name for articles in the press about me and the above claims. Its okay keep studying hard and you will get the grades you want
Well done!! 💗💗
There’s forever going to be a void in my heart... it is just now drawing to me that I’ll never actually feel this because Covid-19 has taken this away from me and many others... these videos are helping me in a way?
You prefer exams to predicted teacher grades?
Mostly an F1 fan Yh, teachers don’t know people’s full potentials bc some people improve massively between now and the exams and I didn’t revise for my mocks and smashed them which isn’t my full potential
When did this marking system using numbers, come into force? I'm used to the normal A, B, C, D etc marking system. xxx
I haven’t done my GCSE’s yet but I am not really successful in my tests in September I’m going Into year nice
Most stuff until year 10 doesn't matter tbh, ALOT changes
Same
Sounds like some decent GCSE results . I am going into year 13 and college is way better
To anyone who didn't get what you wanted, it's not the end of the world, I did bad to say the least when I did mine, didn't even turn up for my business studies exam. but then I went to college, re did some of them and went on to do a business and finance course. I would also recommend college, best time I've ever had. And remember, just as an example, billionaire Richard Branson didn't pass his exams at school.....
I got a 5 in Foundation maths at age 50. I’m doing higher exam now and hope to get a 9 next year. Then A level.
Pat HEH lol
Fuck off doing the gcse exams ppl like u are raising the grade boundaries go be the normal 50 year old man by going to the pub rather than wasting ur time ya absolute saddo
