There's not enough time or space for what I'd like to say about this fantastic Australian band. 1981 and I'm in my bedroom listening to Where Is Hank on vinyl and I'm totally absorbed by Johanna Piggot's vocals and the chugging of the guitar. The apocalyptic lyrics were apt for the time of the COLD WAR and imminent Nuclear War, which thankfully didn't happen. This was a major reason for the decadence of the 80's. I digress, as usual, this is one of the most relevant and important bands of the early 80's. I think I've spelt Me Piggott's name correctly. Both she and Todd Hunter wrote Age of Reason for John Farnham.
This song is so valid now, in 2023.
XL Capris were awesome. Like a commentary on life. Wish we had bands like these now.
