What is Toroidal Power Transformers:
#Toroidaltransformers are power transformers with a toroidal core on which the primary and secondary coils are wound. The unique shape of the toroidal transformer allows for shorter coils, reducing resistive losses or winding losses and improving overall efficiency.
What is EI Transformer :
EI Type is the standard type of transformer and it’s commonly used in many electronics products design. It’s main application include Switching-mode power supply (SMPS), Switching AC-DC adapter, Electronics power board, and chargers. EI Type of transformer from very small type to the large.

EI laminated transformers are generally crudely made! Well made transformers cores should have:
1 Cold rolled grain oriented laminations.
2. The cutting blades or dies used should be sharp and of good quality.
3. The laminations should be de-burred, so that they can be stacked without gaps.
Some good smart manufacturers buy the best laminations in scrap form and get them nicely cut.
Thus even high quality EI transformers can be made!
Many cheap power supplies made for electronic musical instruments use transformers which cannot deliver adequate power, specially for polyphonic instruments.
Only original power supplies should be used, or the instrument could be damaged!

Toridal transformer hit hone pe thanda karna muskil hai lekin EI transformer ko kisi chispe(Aluminium) lagane se thanda rehta hai.

Torroidal is दमदार., mere paas ei core bhi hai aur torroidal bhi, aur i will say EI transformer AMPERES are always overstated . Torroidal is awesome for power.

No... For 7388 use 12 volt 10 amp transformer only. Higher voltage will burn the IC

Larger transformers cannot be made in toroidal. Max 4to 6 kva. If in mva its not possible to make toroidal.
