Miami Beach at Fontainebleau (1965)

What should have been a wonderful captured moment in time was transferred badly by the folks at Costco. Though it could just as well be the aged film, there's an evident overlay of other footage that crosses over what could be salvaged of this video. Look close enough, and you'll see Allan Jerome, Arlene, and Herbie's vacation at Miami Beach's famous Fontainebleau Hotel.

Ah yes, the Fontainebleau Hotel. That's where Jerry Lewis filmed his movie _The Bellboy_ in 1960. When they were renovating it in 2008, I walked through the area that was sealed off. It's the easiest hotel in Miami to spot because of its curved design.
