OK. just experimenting with this.... First impression, is that the Session Piano player is going to be useful for comping songs, as using the Chord track, and editing in there, for creating progressions is really useful to a keyboard player like myself...i.e. one with several thumbs, and fingers that don't know where to go!. So if you can hear your chords and work out what they do, then it will save a lot of editing for bum notes and timing. Obviously nowhere near as good as a competent keyboard player would do, but useful for putting together song ideas. I can see that a way to use this is to flesh out the arrangement for a song, get it into shape, then if it's worth it, get a real pianist to replace the keyboard part. I'm guessing that the Bass player is going to function in much the same way. I can at lest play the bass reasonably well, so that's also useful. Think I'm going to have fun with these!
Please can you look into Session Players Keyboards, Drummers etc in Manual Pattern mode, trying to copy and paste Pattern 1 into an empty Pattern 2 and nothing happens.. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I don't understand... Is this how it should be? When I launch any of the new tools, Logic thinks for a very long time before the tool is ready to work. I have a macbook on M1 and it's unbearably long to wait for the preset to change... All the old plugins work as before and are included in the work instantly. But with the new ones, it's just a problem! Who knows, is this a Logic bug or ...? The Studio Bass starts after 20 seconds and it takes another 21 seconds to switch from classic to Rock... Studio Piano starts for 21 seconds and it takes 45 seconds to change the present... It's the same with the rest of the new ones

I have an old tower 2009 Mac and been using logic pro 10.4.4 no more updates as i am stuck with HS...... want to buy a Mac Mini M2 can you advise what I would need I want 1 tb ssd....and what else would i need. i also make my bands videos but stuck doing in on my Mac Air... Too slow and gets very hot..... anyway I want to purchase a new Mac and I also want to purchase plugins which ones??? - I noticed you using that Vox Flex I am impressed how you can use that and create a male voice to female voice. 32 gigs..... thanks Melody
So many different options and so it really depends on the specific things you want to accomplish. I usually recommend a good audio interface and speakers or nice headphones. Logic does so much that you can focus on nice microphones or other accessories. 🤷🏻♂️

So sessions players are literal garbage. I might ask for refund this update was complete trash and Apple should fire the employees responsible for it if they want to salvage their credibility.

Is this remotely influenced by audio or MIDI which is played/recorded by the musician... Or is it only pre-generated off of its own content?
There is an option to allow it to analyze the transients of an audio track and compliment its rhythm
