Beautiful D700 photographs! I truly had resentment towards the Z series Nikons, and still kind of have a strong dislike that’s melting very slowly. I felt Nikon abandoned the proven DSLR cameras, and proven decades tested system in favor of cameras much less costly to manufacture, but with exorbitant pricing out of the gate, Electronic Viewfinders, and the need to buy new Lenses for your new Zed camera. Sure, they made a lens adapter, because they had too. I just have no need for these cameras at this time. Sounds like they have added all sorts of Bells and Whistles to the Zed Series to further draw people in. It really irritates me that more than a few UA-cam camera cites are only talking about Zed 6, Zed 9, Z whatever. I have no interest, and no longer visit those cites......I guess you touched a nerve.
Always interesting to see what can be done with "old tech" when DSLR's give you more control and mirrorless cameras, even though I've been using them for a few years, limited my learning curve. Now I get to spend time on ebay, MPB, Adorama, in itself an education. Thanks for shedding light!
I think the DSLR’s render more pleasing memorable images with better colors, build quality, and a more enjoyable shooting experience than mirrorless cameras.
I buy all my camera gear used and have been doing so for many, many years. I don’t need a camera that shoots 4K video, or 20 frames/sec. with eye AF, so why pay for features I don’t need and will never use?
That’s my professional camera and I can’t seem to find one camera that has the same quality of images only the D3 and it is the same sensor so I’m stuck thank you for the advice can you recommend some lenses please? 🙏🏻🌹
