Those old cars cleaned up nicely! The biggest transformation was by far the Impala, it was cool to see the before and after, I never would have though that old Impala would clean up so good. Good job!

Great video I think the wheels are painted where the brake buildup is little rubbing compound should take the black on off. I think those wheels are painted gray and then clearcoated. The outer bead should just be aluminum with clearcoat. Inside spokes painted gray with clearcoat keep up the good work guys blessings from London, Kentucky Thank you, John and Wayne Travis
On the aluminum wheels you could use an old stiff bristles tooth brush and on Amazon you can buy brushes made like a tooth brush made with wire bristles.🤓 It works.
I had 2 1955 Chevys they come stock with hydraulic lifters unless someone has modified it,it comes with a 265 engine,I think in 1957 they came out with the 283 Chevy engine.
Next time you clean an old car, get clay bar, and the solution that goes with it, and it will take all the contaminants out of the paint and off the windows
Man he takes good care of the 55 and the red 67 but I cringe at how that low mileage Monte is just wasting away. Its not gonna be very nice for too long just sitting. Even in that covered carport. All those plastics in those late models do not fair to well if you don't keep them conditioned with vinyl protectant or something. You can see that even the rubber bumpers are deteriorating and breaking down. I'm shocked the clear coat has not started to lift like those always do too. It will be low mileage, but looking high mileage in a few more years.

It's hard to believe that Monte Carlo started that it easy after all them years with stale gas and it being carbureted! Usually the accelerator pump is stuck & floats are stuck causing flooding over.

Wayne must have well water, with no more water pressure than that coming out of the water hose
yes he does have well water but we were using a large water tank on the back of a truck for water.
Still need to use soap because it lifts the dirt and floats it otherwise just rubbing the dirt into the paint.
Hybrid solutions pro wheel + iron it removes brake dust easy
Any time a car sets up a couple weeks or more, give it a few wiffs of ether to help the fuel pump get liquid so it doesn't crank dry.

The Monte is blowing smoke and has sat too long. Probably needs valve stem seals.
