If you want more of his raspy voice, listen to more Seether. They are a hard rock, basically a grunge band. They have so many good songs out over the years. Their first big hit was Fine Again. Some others are Driven Under, Remedy, Truth, Never Leave, The Gift, Fake It, Words as Weapons…to name a few.
As for Amy Lee, her band is Evanescence, kinda surprised you didn’t know who she was. They are an amazing band, specially live. And her voice is on another level. Check some of their stuff out as well. Specially their album titled Fallen.

This song came out when I was going through a truly awful breakup. Even 2 decades later, I can’t listen to it without my eyes welling up. Love is can be so beautiful and so brutal. No wonder songs like this exist.

Amy Lee IMO is one of the best female rock singers with Evanescence. She has done many collabs. One of the best was when she sang with Halestorm. Amy and Lzzy are amazing together singing Break In. You could run down a huge rabbit hole with those two ladies.
If you like Amy Lee, her song with bring me is outstanding! Also, break in with halestorm, her voice is just so wonderfully haunting
The Original Song was from their first album "Disclaimer" in 2002 and was redone as a duet in 04 while Shaun Morgan and Amy Lee were dating. Love Seether and Evanescence.

Amy Lee is the lead singer of the band Evanescence.. definitely worth checking them out.. actually saw both bands live at a show (along with Breaking Benjamin and 3 Days Grace).. won tickets from radio, was Ev's tour for debut album. Great show all around
Amy Lee has a top 5 rock voice for this generation. She's the "Angel" as opposed to Lzzy Hale's devil (Halestorm). They are great friends and their collaborations are prefect.
They were a couple at the time this was recorded. He had his band, Seether and she had Evanescence. They split cause she couldn't handle his drinking. Her band recorded Call Me When You're Sober about him. Two amazing bands and singers

I'm glad you went with broken, it's a beautiful song and a good starter for getting into seether. Remedy probably would have scared you off from wanting to react to anymore of their music, though it was the first song of theirs I ever listened to, and I was hooked.

People have said it already, but I will say it too.. Amy Lee is the lead vocalist of Evanescence. You have heard them before when you reacted to My Immortal. Amy Lee is one of the most beautiful musicians I know, I am glad you used the term 'angelic' to describe her voice because I would too. Evanescence's debut album Fallen is 20 years old now and go diamond status late last year. Shaun Morgan of Seether and Amy Lee were dating at the time so they collaborated for this song. In Evanescence's 2nd album The Open Door, the song Call Me When You're Sober comes from their breakup. Please, definitely check out some more Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless, Breaking Benjamin, Soundgarden, Audioslave, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Angels and Airwaves. Proost!

Amy Lee went to the same college I did, Middle Tennessee State University a.k.a MTSU. I've personally met her and my brother and sister-in-law are real good friends with her. So we get concert tickets when she comes to Nashville or Atlanta. She's very amazing woman and super sweet.

If you like Amy's voice, she did a song with Ollie from Bring Me the Horizon called "One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death." And it's fucking brilliant.

The Punisher: soundtrack (2004) First time I heard this song back when the movie came out.
Not many people will care about this interesting fact, but he's sitting in a 1967 Impala 4 door-no post. Same exact car used in the TV show, Supernatural. I have one that I'm building now.

There is an original of this song from 2002 which is just Seether. Shaun and Amy Lee were in a relationship at this time and made a remake in 2004. The song was written by Shaun about his daughter.

Late to the party, but my recommendations for songs from Seether would be "Always" and their cover of George Michael's "Careless Whisper" with their animated video that includes several tributes to 80's pop culture.
Seether is a proud export from South Africa. The band was originally called Saron Gas but it didn't go well with the PC Yanks and they had to change it. Shaun Welgemoed (lead singer) also had to change his surname, to Morgan, as the Americans can't pronounce the G sound us South Africans use.
Remedy is a great song, Am Lee is the singer of Evanescence which is an amazing band
Please listen to the trilogy of their relationship. This song is when they were together then Evanescence (Amy Lee’s band) released “you never call me when you’re sober” after they broke up… and Seether released “Fake it” in response.

I love Seether and Evanescence both amazing bands.
The first time I heard this was live when Seether supported Evanescence, Amy walked out on stage 2 songs before Broken and just sat cross legged looking up at Shaun, such a cool thing to see, then they sang Broken, just with that song they nearly blew Evanescence off the stage, there is an accoustic version that is a little different and I think even better

I won't ever go as far as to say Seether is the best band ever or that Amy Lee has the best voice ever, but I will go as far as to say that both are extremely underrated.

You definitely made the right choice between the two songs. Even though it's not very representative of their sound in general, it is a very pretty song that isn't a bad place to start.
At the time this was released, Amy Lee and Seether's vocalist Shaun Morgan were dating. If you would like to hear about the breakup from her perspective, you can check out the song "Call Me When You're Sober" by her band Evanescence. Now, Shaun denies that there's a breakup song from Seether, but a lot of fans take their song "Fake It" as being a shot at Amy. Though he does admit that if there were a breakup song it would probably be their song "Breakdown" which is believable when you see the video. Both of those song come from their album "Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces" whose cover art features what even Shaun's daughter said looks like a depiction of Amy Lee.
