Y’all need to get educated! That burning sensation comes from illegal use of MMA monomer! You should be using EMA monomer! Shops don’t care and use MMA because it’s hella more cheaper than EMA. I’m a nail technician myself, I use EMA only and I’ve never had a client experience burning, only when I used MMA starting off they said it burned! It doesn’t matter what primer, dehydrator, how big the bead is or whatever, it’s that damn monomer!
I was thinking same exact thing when her first her started burning . “ she must be using the illegal MMA”.
That makes so much sense bc I live in Massachusetts and when I used to get my nails done I would have heat spikes like this and now that I started to do nails this past year I’ve never had any. It’s definitely the mma they use.
Yeah I use to work in a nail salon that used it. They get it by the gallon for $40 I think which is waaaaaaaay cheaper. A small container of 4 fl oz of cnd brand monomer will cost you about $30 on its own at prof beauty supply stores. Side bar: I HATE when nail techs e-file nails side to side and make them flat where the body of the nail is suppose to be. Smh this is why it’s important for schools to teach how to properly e-file
She’s literally said in an interview that she uses MMA bc she’s “ so skilled” she can work with it smh yes it’s horrible she owns salons too 🙄

You always do bomb nails
I miss wearing and doing long sets like these. The salon where work caters to gel bails and dip powder. Everyone always ask for gel mani pedi.
The burning is from using acid primer. Like all acrylic heats up we know that but when you use an acid based primer that burn is super frequent.
@Katelyn Cecelia around 17 min in to the vid you see the girl is saying her nails are burning that’s because all acrylic when it’s out on the nail while it’s hardening (polymerizing) they start to warm up. It’s chemicals you don’t usually ever feel it but occasionally if your tech uses acid based primer or doesn’t let the primer dry then goes in with the acrylic the chemicals mix and cause a reaction it’s a heat spike. Or some clients just have very thin nails and that also causes them to burn.
If you use MMA liquid it does it. I used to use MMA before I knew anything and I experienced the heat. Once I switched to EMA liquid, I haven’t had any issues. I use acrylic primer as well.

@@mizzstrawberry_ yeah especially when they just recently took off old set or have irritated cuticle. Then it heats up mostly on the thumbs and pinkies, some feel each finger.

Awww that little baby in the background, im sure she didnt mean 2 stand on the womans foot!!! Sounds pure tired,, maybe hungry and probably borex out there minds!!! The salon i go 2,they have a sign on the window "we are not a daycare center nor,do we have the means here 2 keep your child safe, please arrange childcare for the children, as your hands will be tied, our staff work for us not you!" 😂😂 in ither words if your bringing children here make sure someones with you so they can loom after them,take them out etc,or dont bring them at all! One has a notice no children under 14 aloud in this shop thank you management

It’s MMA monomer and not EMA monomer , it is not a chemical reaction or acid primer, or too much monomer . MMA monomer was banned solely on the purpose that’s it’s too strong and damages nails !!!

Curved nails are the best so don’t feel bad. Majority of my clients ask for curved they say straight doesn’t look natural and it’s not a good look. Remind them of chopsticks😂some say chiclets if they are short and straight 🤣🤣
