did anybody else keep replaying it @6:31 too see Geri descend. Had a tear in my eye and knots in my throat. What a subtle yet strong way to symbolize her departure from the group. That day was a sad day for me and all SpiceGirls fans all around the world!!!

It made me soooo happy in this tour that ALL of Victoria’s solo lines had such a great audience reaction because I felt they slept on her the whole time Spice Girls was a group and then she finally got the recognition in this reunion tour.

This song is so powerful. Everytime I hear this, I become very emotional and their voices sends shivers down my spine. The melody, the lyrics.. In this version, you can hear Victoria in the chorus and I love the part at 3:30 "Live forever". Victoria can sing. Gotta love her elegantly lower tone. However, Melanie C has the true talent. She's the most versatile and her voice is just so powerful and energetic. ❤
Emma Bunton gave an interview recently and said that the first time they rehearsed the song on stage and Geri is lowered down all of the girls had tears in their eyes and when Geri came back they all did a HUGE group hug..Viva Forever! Girl Power!!

The melodies, the spanish guitar, the voices, everything is flowing with melancholy (in a good way) that generates an stunning atmosphere of loss and hope. It's a no wonder that the Spice Girls are one of the most talented pop artist of all time.

I love how they were representing Geri's heritage with the Spanish music and dance 🇪🇸 I will forever love these women. They solidified my adult life. I grew up with them and will forever love them. Geri leaving the stage was so dang sad. Forever the best group to exist 💗💗
I like all music from Beethoven the Beatles, classic rock and others as well, The spice Girls are amazing! I was about 11 in 1994 when they came out as a band! music has changed alot, I am a musician who appreciates Most musics.
They were put together as a band in 1994, but it wasn't until 1996 that they came out as a band with the name Spice Girls. So you were 13 when they first came out ;)
@@ritaalber3505 hello, just one detail so often overlooked... yes five girls were put together, after repeated selections, in early May 1994 with the name 'Touch' (not Spice Girls) but still without Emma; she came on late July and the band was finally what we all know.
About late December 1994 they ultimately become the 'Spice Girls' - their very very first photo portrait (black & white) having that name is dated January 28th, 1995.
After wich they still had to wait about 15 months before having their first public shots and TV appearances (April 1996). When the band 'bursted' worldwide in late June with the song 'Wannabe', they technically were the Spice Girls since one and half year.

Mel B: the backing vocals
Emma: the dance break was ALL about her
Victoria: clearest voice in the chorus
Mel C: the ad libs
Geri: the emotion at the end.
Man, this is really great! Although it kinda makes me sad that they changed the ending. In the studio version it's only Mel B singing in a very low voice and Mel C adlibing occasionally. That always gives me goosebumps when I hear it. A shame it's not in here :(

This whole performance is just majestic! Viva Forever is such a masterpiece, I have loved this song from day 1. I hope they do a south american tour. We LOVE our girls here, and they'll absolutely love us when they see how passionate we are :D

Much personally speaking: not enthusiast about this (heavily) Spanish-oriented version and the ubiquitous dancers, but damn ... what a bloody emotional feelings with the Fab Five singing this timeless masterpiece !!! Fantastic Girls !!!!
Guitarist Paul Gendler is here playing again for the Spice Girls about ten years after the WorldTour '98, in addition to being Mel C's first guitar in her personal band for her solo career... and her band is, here, playing for the Spice Girls in the 2007 - 08 WorldTour.

Wow that jump from slow to suspenseful music at 4:38 was incredible 😍 I teared when Geri was lowered down to symbolise her departure at 6:38 This was the last song they performed together back in 1998. This is just a beautiful performance. When I saw the concert in London I was super emotional. These girls inspired me so much as a young gay teen, unsure of himself; little confidence and terrible anxiety. That might sound daft but it's true. PS Geri disappearing at the end is still so sad lol

So sad that Victoria did not harmonize with Geri, Emma and mel B in the chorus of studio album (except that last one). She did sing 11 seconds only for her solo part in the album. She should've led the chorus with Emma for the higher harmony, Geri for the middle harmony and Mel B fo the lower harmony.
The only song(s) that she lead is the demo version of Do You Think About Me and that song even was not even in the final cut of Spice album. The other one I could think of is Spice Up Your Life where she only harmonized with the girls.
As fans already told that account, Victoria did sang in the chorus. And now they've uploaded the new line distribution acknowledging Vicky's Harmonies.

Es una versión muy profunda que te llega hasta lo más íntimo de todo el corazón. Una melodía perfecta con ese sonido muy característico de la guitarra española. This song was truly Victoria's. Also, Emma did great with her high part in the harmonies, though her voice was just a bit too loud sometimes. Mel B's raspy really low part could also be heard clearly. Geri's voice, however, wasn't loud enough here. To be honest, I thought that her alto-1 part in the chorus in the studio version made the song so much more interesting. 🙂

DON'T let it be said Victoria can't sing. Vicky killed it here! Her mic was up and she was finally singing loud enough in her register to be heard starting at 3:21. The clearest voice you hear singing "I'll be waiting" IS Victoria and the camera knows it and they pan to her and you see and hear that it IS her

As an avid spice girls fan, I went through it all with them, knew every verse, down to every part for each girl. to the cloths, dolls, posters, and all the other collectables, But when I heard this song off their 2nd album, I knew right then and there, the ride was coming to an end.. it just had that feel of thank you,we love you, But life goes on.. Thank you spice girls for making my childhood. "GIRLPOWER 4 EVER"
