I would like to thank you, my prayer warriors. My Breast Cancer Surgery was yesterday and I woke up clear headed and without pain. God is soooooo good !!!! My surgeon was awesome. My husband sat in the waiting room with a young man, a young husband, whose wife was going through the same surgery as me. They prayed and talked together. I feel wonderful and loved the fact that I got to read Day 66 AND 67 today. I must admit that I am addicted to Father Mike's enthusiasm and joy. Thank you again. I look forward to this Catechism journey with all of you.
My husband and I knew his death was imminent. His pancreatic cancer diagnosis, given on December 12, 2020… such a powerful day… was coming very soon. Henry asked the hospice nurses if they knew which day… he told me, this Heaven thing better be real! As he took his last breath, his eyes opened wide, and the smile of awe came over his face… I asked, do you see Frankie? Our son died 9/22/2017… many friends have said, he saw the glory of God! Yes, Henry and Franko, you now know that Heaven is so real! Such a blessing for my heart!
Day 66 done :) One of the things that hurts the most about suffering is not just necessarily the moment of suffering, but *knowing that it's coming*..... But Jesus knew about his suffering which he would go through "God, you knew what you were doing. You knew that you would be despised and rejected. You knew that the ppl you were giving your heart to would be *the ppl who would pierce your heart* And yet with every breath and heartbeat you said Yes to this 😔 ....... Out of love for me 😔....
Thank you, Father Mike, this is all so beautiful, and I am so proud to be a Roman Catholic, so proud of this Catechism of our Faith. The Catholic Church surely is guided by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus promised. God Bless You, Father and everyone here!
it is a mistake to say that Christ had to ask questions and learn things (languages, reading etc.) which also imply he could err. Quoting the Catechism Explained 1920. Pg 198 "He knew all things as man on account of the hypostatic union. Pg 199 "Christ, as man, could neither sin nor err. "Christ had from His birth all wisdom and knowledge (Col. 2 vs 3) The words "Christ grew in wisdom and grace" (Luke 2 vs 52) mean that with the passage of time He ever showed more of the wisdom and grace of God in His speech and conduct." This is supported by Church Fathers and Scripture. You can reference the Haydock commentary Bible as well.
Copied : “Jesus was fully human since He was born to a human mother (Matthew 1:25), He experienced hunger (Matthew 21:18) and thirst (John 19:28). Jesus also experienced temptation (Matthew 4:1) pain and suffering (Matthew 16:21), and He died (Matthew (27:50).”
Day 67 takeaways: Jesus became human without losing His Divinity and He remained Divine without losing His humanity. Jesus had a human soul, which operated His intellect & will, and His body. Christ was like us in everything except sin. As a human being, Jesus had to learn and grow in wisdom and stature. God worked with human hands and with a human heart, He loved. Jesus lived in full obedience to the Father’s will. Jesus, through His Divine Nature, fully knew and understood the Divine plans. He revealed only those plans He was sent to reveal.

Fr. Mike you are truly special. I watched your mother’s beautiful funeral on UA-cam this afternoon. I can’t find words to describe. God Bless you and your family. May you mom Rest In Peace. 🙏
This beautiful mystery of how Jesus was simultaneously true God and true Man makes me love Him even more. Pondering on how Jesus in His humanity wept at the tomb of Lazarus, while in His godliness He was aware He would soon raise Lazarus from death. Truly human and truly God, knowing that all this would lead to His passion, death and resurrection. Such love!

The Son of God assumed a body animated by a rational human soul. The mystery of his incarnation is mind-boggling. With his human intellect, Jesus learnt by experience many things, but also as Son of God he had intimate knowledge of God his Father

Pray for my daughters, that God will reach out to them, help them realize their need for God first place in their lives, that God will continue meeting all of their needs.. I love you all
May God bless you all and you Father Mike!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
God bless you Father. I am truly learning so much. Praying for everyone 🙏 ❤️
Yesterday and today were soooo profound, I am moved to tears. I love HIM more today than ever. I’ve known for a long time that the deeper the knowledge of Jesus, true God and true man really is, the greater the love for HIM.
it is a mistake to say that Christ had to ask questions and learn things (languages, reading etc.) which also imply he could err.
Thsnk you Fr Mike and all who make this possible. Praying for you and everyone here. God bless🙏❤️🙏
Thank you Father. God bless you 🙏
🙏🙏🙏. Prayer to Fr. Mike. Prayer to our commentors. Profoundness everywhere you turn about Jesus Christ.
To pray 🙏🏻 along with you is so peaceful.❤
Yes, it is! ❤🙏🏻
Fr. Mike you are truly special. I watched your mother’s beautiful funeral on UA-cam this afternoon. I can’t find words to describe. God Bless you and your family. May you mom Rest In Peace. 🙏
Wow this was a wonderful morning with you Father Mike thank you so much
Fr Mike you explain everything so well. Just about every day has brought me to tears. I love you Lord.
Such love!

This is so rich and beautiful. I wish I could shout my love for this Catechism with Father Mike. It’s a lot to take in, but my heart will never stop beating for the gifts of Jesus Christ, the divine sacrifice he made..ok, I’ll shush ❤️❤️🙏🙏
The Son of God assumed a body animated by a rational human soul. The mystery of his incarnation is mind-boggling. With his human intellect, Jesus learnt by experience many things, but also as Son of God he had intimate knowledge of God his Father

@Chuck Sampair - Whilst His Divinity is never doubted, His approach to humanity is admirable. Nothing has been written to substantiate my point except what you rightly quote from Luke.
@@roystonfernandes8305 Yes but we must adhere to how the Church interprets Scripture and the Church has spoken.
How wise and holy must the rabbit in Nazareth have been! Thank you for making it clear that Jesus did have a human soul.
I typed in "rabbi ". Computer preferred "rabbit"!
Thank You I have been blessed by you.
God bless each of you- I’m praying for you and have such gratitude for being led here daily 🙏❤️
Jesus, the Human Face of God and the Divine Face of Man!
Jesus is God! God have mercy on us because we image His Body through the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church yet fail to love as God loves!!
Saint Felicity and Saint Perpetua, pray for us! We need your prayers of intercession for the conversion of heretics in the Church and sinners everywhere!
Thanks Father Mike I appreciate you
Thank you Father Mike. So happy to be a part of the daily catechism of Catholics. You are bestowed with the intellect of a great priest and person, to teach us every day, and help us understand so well. God bless 🌹

Hard to fathom the beauty of Jesus and all He has done for us. ❤🔥
Thank you Father Mike. This is so awesome the way you explain this beautiful scripture to us. I am praying for you also and all of us. God Bless 🙏
When they found Jesus in the temple asking questions makes more sense to me now. Thanks Fr. Mike

Christ asked questions many times throughout his public life, but not because He did not know the answers. In the temple they marveled at His wisdom.
