This... This was a literal masterpiece. Everything from the plot to the songs to the buildup makes this experience worth my time. Whitty and Carol really do care for one another and I will admit, the final scene made me burst into tears. To be fair, all of it made me cry. You and the team really outdid yourselves on this scene. Well done to everyone that worked on this. Bravo and encore...
I'm not even a romance person and still think this was executed perfectly. Really shows the kind of characters Whitty and Carol are, as well as how much kinder the Dearests have gotten to become over time.

This mod was a beautiful fun time back when it was first released. Still amazing to this day, even if Whittys with us now, it’s nice to look back at a fun conclusion especially with actual good lyrics

@@jamesjoe1690 Well, uh... given that the mod these three songs came from was ORIGINALLY created as a send-off for Whitty before his Definitive Edition... and the fact that Updike (the cloud guy chasing Whitty down in this video) is now technically "no longer canon to Whitty's story"... ...it's a pretty safe bet we're not seeing anything out of Whitty unless he gets new content from his creator; or a fan-project given said creator's blessing. Remember: RecD's lore springs from lyrical adaptations, first and foremost. If there's no songs to adapt, there's no story for him or his crew to tell...
You can feel the passion here : - All these guest characters from the FNF universe. - Fabulous voice acting. - A deep respect for the lore of FNF. - Smart and well-written jokes ( big up to the hilarious moment "I bless you with fortune. (A BLESSING THAT'S A LITTLE TOO HEAVENLY) Hey, not so loud, we're in public ! (a far more reserved blessing)" ). - Writing that doesn't fall into cliché (especially at the end). In short, congratulations to the whole team: you did a great job ^^.
Whitty and Carol were the first couple that got me hooked into fnf, and even though Whitty is "gone" he will always be a part of the community. This video hits me hard, In a good way. Love them both and thank you for this wonderful video. This truly made me happy. Got my crying haha
this is like my 12th time watching it and i just barely noticed at the end that Carol kisses Whitty, she grabs his fuse to make sure he doesn't blow up from pure emotion. such a good touch.
This was the perfect way to end of the Whitty saga. I remember playing this mod for the first time and I was happy it ended like this. And when I watched this it made me feel the exact same way. Kudos to everyone involved in this.

damn, it's actually really interesting how in the mod files it says Carol asked Whitty out on a date and here it was the other way around... and from Hex's advice! and with that out of the way, I think this has been the best of FNF with lyrics I've ever watched... EVER, like bruh it's just so cute and funkin' good!

I can't wait to rap battle against not just her but also her roommate for the next week In development, unless we got straight to UpDike himself Instead! The humour Itself still reminds me easily of OK KO's level of "LOL So Random" and more "Meme Based" humour especially both Undetale and Deltarune but the way you and the rest of the crew did Is still well executed Instead being "In-Your Face" to appeal to the zoomer kids of today but you guys every spark In every an every one of you, after all there's little piece In everybody! This was beautiful. It has a mixture of romance,laughs and all around bangers.Props to the team for making this,and I can't wait for Tabi! :) I will have Tabi on repeat until the lyrics vid is released(yes I'm that dedicated XD)
I'm so glad we got to see Whitty again. The characters I always love the most tend to describe certain parts of my personality or what I aspire to be. Whitty's a really well-made character, he's literally the sans of FNF! Just with a few tweaks here and there. His character helps me control my anger a bit better nowadays, and how to act towards talking to people. His mod made me get more into improving my art, trying to make music (it's still bad), and at least dipping my toes into the ocean of programming. I'm glad the OG mod week really made FNF spike in popularity and is the sole reason why FNF has lasted so long. Yeah, yeah, lots, and I mean LOTS of people don't like Whitty or FNF in general, whether if it's for justified reasons or they're just a whiny baby about popular or random stuff on the internet for whatever reason they have, but those people can screw off. I didn't hear about the drama Whitty got in, so when Whitty got deleted, I was devastated that my favorite mod was just gone because of some whiny people. I really hoped that they were still working on something behind the scenes through all the drama and that Whitty wouldn't just go down in flames like that. Lo and behold, we got the Date Week a little after, but then the WhitMORE updated was canceled forever. But then on his 1-year anniversary, a whole revamp of his week was made with lots of new stuff. I'm still a little sad that Whitty's still a bit of an iffy character to talk about and that his lore with Updike was changed since I really liked it, but it is sock's decision, and I will respect that. I'm still so glad that the DW and DE was made to really send-off this incredible character and mod, and that the creators didn't just leave him as ash, but rather acknowledged what such an explosive impact he made on the entire community after his mod dropped, and justified the cancellation of his mod. Godspeed, Whitty. And I hope you're doing well, sock. And of course, the entire VSWhitty mod team for making this our special bomb dude come to life, and the RecD crew too for making this fantastic musical!
I was really surprised to see Updike in this! I didn’t expect you guys to use the Greater Good storyline considering they were a story element that was dropped by the mod creators. Can you say (without spoiling anything of course) wether or not his appearance was just for Date Week, or do you guys have future plans for Updike’s crew?
As always, I love how you manage to craft a full-on narrative to explain the changes in scenario, even if that means making Updike present where he's not supposed to be canon. Then again, Carol is an angel in this story, so who I am to say what the canoncity is?
It seems that you haven’t watched the bad side of fnf cartoons. If you know people such as Gametoons, Fasttoons and Hornstromp, i suggest you to stay away from them. If you haven’t watched Chino’s animated, he is litteraly similar to RecD but he doesn’t make lyrics and drawn cutscenes but full fleshed out animations with good lore and are accurate to the mod’s lore

I love how you put your own story to the mod! I mean, the original gives us no backstory, it just jumps into it and is like "Yeah, here, have some songs or whatever". The only actual thing we get of a backstory is in the bad ending where it says "Now you gotta leave forever". But you put your own story to it which is absolutely amazing! I just overall love this WITH LYRICS video! Can't wait to see what your next FNF WITH LYRICS video will be!

I'm so glad we got to see Whitty again.
The characters I always love the most tend to describe certain parts of my personality or what I aspire to be.
Whitty's a really well-made character, he's literally the sans of FNF! Just with a few tweaks here and there.
His character helps me control my anger a bit better nowadays, and how to act towards talking to people. His mod made me get more into improving my art, trying to make music (it's still bad), and at least dipping my toes into the ocean of programming.
I'm glad the OG mod week really made FNF spike in popularity and is the sole reason why FNF has lasted so long.
Yeah, yeah, lots, and I mean LOTS of people don't like Whitty or FNF in general, whether if it's for justified reasons or they're just a whiny baby about popular or random stuff on the internet for whatever reason they have, but those people can screw off.
I didn't hear about the drama Whitty got in, so when Whitty got deleted, I was devastated that my favorite mod was just gone because of some whiny people.
I really hoped that they were still working on something behind the scenes through all the drama and that Whitty wouldn't just go down in flames like that.
Lo and behold, we got the Date Week a little after, but then the WhitMORE updated was canceled forever. But then on his 1-year anniversary, a whole revamp of his week was made with lots of new stuff.
I'm still a little sad that Whitty's still a bit of an iffy character to talk about and that his lore with Updike was changed since I really liked it, but it is sock's decision, and I will respect that.
I'm still so glad that the DW and DE was made to really send-off this incredible character and mod, and that the creators didn't just leave him as ash, but rather acknowledged what such an explosive impact he made on the entire community after his mod dropped, and justified the cancellation of his mod.
Godspeed, Whitty. And I hope you're doing well, sock. And of course, the entire VSWhitty mod team for making this our special bomb dude come to life, and the RecD crew too for making this fantastic musical!

I was really surprised to see Updike in this! I didn’t expect you guys to use the Greater Good storyline considering they were a story element that was dropped by the mod creators. Can you say (without spoiling anything of course) wether or not his appearance was just for Date Week, or do you guys have future plans for Updike’s crew?

As always, I love how you manage to craft a full-on narrative to explain the changes in scenario, even if that means making Updike present where he's not supposed to be canon. Then again, Carol is an angel in this story, so who I am to say what the canoncity is?
I reckon that this is RecD's attempt to shift to Updike's new canon by tying it in to Whitty disappearing at the end of the Date Week.
This whole thing feels like a fnf cartoon, and i love it.
I've been planning to do something like that for a good while now, hope it goes well.

It seems that you haven’t watched the bad side of fnf cartoons. If you know people such as Gametoons, Fasttoons and Hornstromp, i suggest you to stay away from them. If you haven’t watched Chino’s animated, he is litteraly similar to RecD but he doesn’t make lyrics and drawn cutscenes but full fleshed out animations with good lore and are accurate to the mod’s lore

I love how you put your own story to the mod! I mean, the original gives us no backstory, it just jumps into it and is like "Yeah, here, have some songs or whatever". The only actual thing we get of a backstory is in the bad ending where it says "Now you gotta leave forever". But you put your own story to it which is absolutely amazing! I just overall love this WITH LYRICS video! Can't wait to see what your next FNF WITH LYRICS video will be!
