They were some of THE nicest people you could meet. They were one of the first bands that I discovered that introduced me to being Straight Edge and when I saw them a couple of years ago I told Brandan and he really appreciated it and how long I've been straight edge for. My friend is very good friends with them and they even gave him a signed guitar. We all went for dinner after and they're such down to earth people.
Brandan and Ryan are tiny in real life :'), but dude is he built like a brickshithouse (pardon my french)

GOD I LOVE THEM!!! I took my friend to her first metal concert. It was them and as I lay dying, She got kicked in the head and had a concussion. We were out side with the ambulance and she was bleeding everywhere. The lead singer came out and signed her boots that she was wearing. A lot of respect for these guys!! (oh and girl) Haha
I just found this band and after two songs I know that this is what metal should be it's fucking perfect I feel like I have been searching for this band for so long my life suddenly feels complete

This is such a journey just going through their discography slowly to truly feel each song in its entirety.
I can hear a Pantera-ish side of vocals in this guy.

Miss this band. the truth and declaration were my favourite albums.
Bleeding Through is the best band off Rise Records in my opinion. It's weird how as heavy as this band is, they're signed to the same label as Attack Attack!, Sleeping With Sirens, Of Mice & Men, and Like Moths To Flames. Idk, they seem like they should be signed to a label of their genre like Mediaskare or Sumerian.
Greatest song. Of all time.

this band simply rocks. They are extremely talented and inspired the lead singer of my favorite band so I can't help loving them.

I believe their first two albums were on Indecision but their "breakout" album This is Love This is Murderous was on Trustkill as well as The Truth and Declaration.
Some of these newer younger bands need to listen to this song.

Well one this is for sure. These guys are quite the veterans among all the other artists on Rise Records, and they are defiantly the heaviest.

@fresh098 No punk bands generally follow a three chord structure. Hardcore bands have riffs but only sometimes. By the time a punk or hardcore band incorporates riffs or melodies into their songs they are generally considered to be metalcore of some metal/hardcore fusion. And by the way it really doesn't matter much what they call themselves, the music speaks for itself.

The point is not that they've been around for a long time, the point I'm trying to get across is that rise has had some sick metalcore bands in the past. Also, bleeding through is NOT the first band on rise to have blasts. Does saying that bleeding through was a rise type of band several years back make things any clearer? Also, chances are that I've been a part of the "core" scenes a lot longer than you guys that are trying to argue with me.

Probably the best and most mature bleeding through I've ever heard....the last album I liked that was theirs was this is love.....that was 2005....im a death metal fan but I like this sound.

Bleeding Through have always been one of my favorite bands but I get this message and its not good. This was the peak of Bleeding Through. They have said everything they needed to say. I kept quiet on the sidelines all my life. Now I will be heard. RIP Bleeding Through. In the end my true like minded bands prevailed. Brandon grew up as and with the haves while I grew up as and with the have nots. NOW THE TABLES ARE TURNING. thank you

@FitzG33 Because they mostly have "scene' bands and Bleeding Through isn't regarded as "scene". (For people who care about that stuff. Personally I like Rise records just as much as 90s Victory Records).

Kids are too obsessed with bands like WCAR and SWS to care about a band that actually helped make Metalcore what it is today. These Rise bands wouldn't even know about Hardcore if it wasn't for bands like Bleeding Through. Stoked for their farewell tour, however.

Bleeding Through is Melodic Metalcore, Meldoic Death Metal(some would say Melodic Deathcore), and current have some black metal in their sound.

For those who talk about Bleeding Through's genre, they are breaking up at the end of the year.
@AskingBVB I remember when SS was still small, and now they are gaining recognition. But having more views on youtube does not make them a better band. I have to say, The Cleansing was a brutal album, but after that they went downhill, well in my opinion at least.
Pretty much they're doing a "farewell" tour, they're playing with Asking Alexandria and a bunch of other bands.
