Friendly reminder that Warlocks can change the spell they learnt before and allways cast them at max level, meaning you can swap out weaker version of your abilities with stronger one and get more spells to make your Morgana more diverse

Man, it's been a year since you posted this and about half of that since I put this build to use. Good times. I may as well come back and put my two cents in this after actually playing it myself. Build holds up so damn well, but I actually have some alternatives I wanted to mention. For one, the spells Protection from Evil and Good alongside Counterspell would've been some of the best picks for Black Shield, as both are made to be niche defenses against specific threats (much like Black Shield). Protection has that since it actually negates the effects of charm and frighten from enemies it specifies, so it negates crowd control, while Counterspell has that aspect since it's a straight up cockblock on magic, like Black Shield. I figured this out with my own Morgana, though it took me going through some Divine Soul levels(I guess I just wanted a Sorlock lol), and it all fits together. I got her whole kit in the build and it didn't take much.
What a year it's been. I'm still glad Evan chose this video because I had been wanting to build her for you for being such a consistent person on the channel. I'm still appreciative. That being said, both of your suggestions are good ones. You'll have to join us for the build stream some time and get your input in earlier in the process ;)
Okay, I've watched the video fully and took it in. Build is actually really concise, I'd easily see myself play. Honestly imagined you'd go something like Divine Soul Sorcerer before Warlock as a means to get metamagic so you could emulate her ult more easily (pop Necrotic Shroud as an Action before Quickening an upcasted Hold Person/Monster to grab multiple people, boom a badass ult where the mixed crowd control gives enemies a smaller margin of error). This really does Morg justice and makes for an excellent area controller character who actually has good damage and supporting power to boot. Sometimes less really is more, so I can't complain.
Honestly, she could use some levels in cleric tbh. Besides that, it's a good build. Though kinda ironic that most of skills that much her come from fiend warlock, which is not only wrong from narrative standpoint, but also is sad, bcs the good sister is described like a villain again.
Nice build doran maybe you can take magic iniciate and take shield or absorb elements and cast them from your familiar to you allies that will take your reaction but you are caster so not much reaccion for you and you can make your familiar a feather from your dress taken the owl(because owl) and say is a magic feather from your dress Pd1: as always excelent job doran what you think of the new cham belle delph... i mean seraphin i have like a space out for a moment jajaja(is all in good fun) Pd2: as always i humblely ask for a clue for next champ build and as always have a great week and weekend doran

Haha, it’s a broken spell. I’ve learned over doing these that Hold Person and Trip Attack are almost always must haves for champs with CC. We avoided it with Volibear but that’s about it haha.
@@DoransAndDragons started CoS Saturday and lost my paladin started a new character only to realize today I might make them basically vayne since already close. Can't decide if stick with monster slayer ranger maybe dip into rogue or maybe a cleric or fighter maybe gun fighter or something.
I acknowledge this fits morgana, but personally I think that a celestial sorcerer would have been better. A lot of spells do either radiant or necrotic, and you can ask your dm to change it if you want. Plus in Morganas lore it says that the power remained in them and awoke when the blade fell, so you could absolutely argue that she is a sorcerer. This give you more spell slots and greater spell variety. Just a personal opinion for another morgana build that may not be quite as perfectly morgana but definitely more variety and staying power

I actually made him as a monster for our Patreon community event! I made ARAM on Roll 20 and they took characters and fought against him and a few other Void creatures. Ended the battle with Braum flinging him off the Howling Abyss bridge with his shield haha.
Not a Morde main, but definitely an enthusiast. I miss back in like season 3 when you could easily get 200 cs at 15 minutes farming your and your enemies wraiths haha

Absolutely could do it that way as well. 17 Lock/3 Sorc would still get you Metamagic and Psychic Scream which I think is the best version of her ult.
