Social media and Facebook have taken away true life experiences. In the 80's we lived and loved in person. There aren't songs like this anymore because most everything is fake. Fact.
Honestly, this song really hits my heart. Not just because of a relationship that didn't work with a boyfriend, but also my relationship with people in general. To me, the true meaning of this song is about being in pain and having sorrow in the soul, not just because of a broken heart, but the fear of change. It's trying to focus on not wanting to give up when that is the best thing you should do. People will always try to understand what they did wrong and in the process forget to move on. The song talks about trying to find the way back to reality. This is just how I process it. It's a great song and very heart touching.
Whos here after the hangman finally won the AEW world title beating kenny by god omega, we have come full circle and this song caps it off perfectly 💯💯💯
I just lost my big brother to cancer this month, and right now I am in his room cleaning, listening to this song..my heart is breaking and I am crying my eyes out! I sit here wishing so badly that I had spent more time with him! Wishing I could have gotten to see him once more before he died.. And these lyrics: "don't know what you got till it's gone" really became relevant!! Plus, this being one of his favorite songs truly hits home.. R.I.P Johnny!! 😭
I still remember when my first girl left me, Wendy was her name, it was the summer of ‘89 and I tell you a man couldn’t have felt more alone in the world. And then Cinderella’s words rung over the radio. I tell you they don’t make music like this anymore. In truth the loss hit me hard, driving me to the goth side, but a healthy dose of Cinderella and my good friend Leopold slowly nursed my broken heart.
You know you’re genuine and really experienced love in your life when you listen to the words of this song. If you don’t feel it then call a priest, you might be dead inside!

Started highschool in 1983 the best times this country has ever seen. Along with the best music ever made.

This is the best Rock n Roll ballad ever to me. Thanks to Tom Keifer for writing it, and Cinderella for bringing the song to life. 🎸🎸🎸❤🎸❤🎸
Trust me kids,.... This song made a bridge between real life and a voice that kicked some major ass in rock-n-roll.
