    I'm glad I live in Texas, the death penalty capital. I hung around an unsavory crowd at times growing up, and I heard multiple hard-core fellas express an unwillingness to do certain types of crimes because they knew the state of Texas really would execute them.

    • @rush1er
      @rush1er 2 роки тому +1

      Indeed it only seems right to execute the murderous guilty....... but what about the wrongfully convicted? Prosecutors aren't out for justice, they are out to win so that they can mark another statistical check by their name. I believe somewhere around 150 former death row inmates were eventually found innocent and set free. What ratio of innocent people would you consider acceptable to be executed compared to the number of guilty that are likewise executed?

    • @MrPlowboy666

      @@rush1er Yeah, "reasonable doubt" seems like too light a criteria to put someone to death. I think the DP should be reserved for only the most heinous crimes when there is ZERO doubt of who perpetrated those crimes. Way too many on Death Row have been found innocent. DP is for the ones where the evidence is irrefutable, not the ones that are circumstantial and had a convincing prosecutor who wanted another win.

I dunno.... the injustice system as a whole needs to be rewritten with ni mandatory minimums and no keeping tally on a prosecutions conviction rates...

He personally knew the victim and masterminded the whole murder plot, he just manipulated his dumb friend into doing the physical killing under the guise they would split the money in the safe. Austin then dragged his friends stabbed up dead body out to the woods and pumped it full of bullets for fun. He didnt get caught up, he got caught before becoming a future serial killer if anything.

      If you've given up hope. There's always something that you can cling to. Some technicality that got violated, something else, etc. Best results is to just like not kill anyone and you'll be fine. Except for the times when innocent people get convicted of murder, which is why I'm opposed to the death penalty. If one person ever gets executed for a crime they didn't commit, that's one person too many. I'd rather let a murderer walk free than have the justice system commit murder in the supposed pursuit of justice.

      True. But there is always a chance for a parole or some kinda release or even an escape as long as you're still alive. Also even if you prefer death over life imprisonment it still has to be hard to voluntarily get strapped down and put to sleep like a dog. As a human it's our instinct to survive and hold off death as long as possible.

  • @irvingbrown2389
    @irvingbrown2389 2 роки тому +4

    I unfortunately understand this situation more than most. My brother took a life of an 89 year old man in a botched robbery of a motel. This man had a family and it destroyed my entire family. At the time my father was sick and dying and never saw him walk free thankfully. He’d be heartbroken as is anyone who stood by him for 25 years! Suckers!! That’s all we are , to him no different from anyone else he has to lie, cheat, steal and manipulate everyone he comes in contact with. Took me 25 years and a couple months to realize he was a true textbook sociopath. Incapable of feeling remorse or giving a shit for anyone but himself. Sad situation especially when a family just wishes to get their family member back and that’s not reality. Prison doesn’t rehabilitate, especially if a person goes In thriving in the environment learning a getting hooked up with the right people, only thing one day you get out and are just a regular person like everyone else in society, your nothing, you don’t wake up get breakfast talk and bullshit with your cellies or whatever. And the world is a vastly different place and you find it hard to fit in and feel comfortable, your institutionalized!! That shit Is real only thing is the system got my brother long before prison he was in several homes, jail, then prison. Now amazingly not back yet but should be soon. Thanks again Josh, good video man. Always like the looks on people’s faces when they get smoked!! I’ve seen it, it’s no fun! Got called for jury duty along with my grandmother by the judge who put my brother away. He asked if anyone felt they shouldn’t serve on a jury. Raise your hand, of course I promptly raised my hand and told the judge I didn’t like him because he had put my brother in prison dragging my family through a grand jury. So I told him I wouldn’t ever serve on a jury and judge no man. It’s not my place and never will be. You have to believe and have faith in the justice system and I certainly do not. So I was called back up and the judge thanked me for my candor and said I’d never have to serve on a jury again and dismissed me from the court room. My grandmother was embarrassed and stayed. My temper got the best of me, I couldn’t hold back not telling him how I truly felt. Not all people are equipped and aren’t the right people to serve on juries. I’m definitely one of them for many reasons. Thanks again , take care, stay safe and healthy!

      There's an episode of the show called "Life and Death Row" where they go into this case pretty deep. It's season 2 episode 3, and the police had both of them separate, but they could hear each other.
      So Austin, the one getting executed and planner of the whole thing, talked first but lied to minimize his involvement, and the other guy heard it and that's when he was totally truthful, and the physical evidence corroborated what he said, so that was why even though he admitted to doing the actual physical attack, they gave Austin the worse sentence.

      Mosley and Myers both killed him, and Myers even admitted to shooting the dead body afterwards. Then, after all that, Myers tried to throw Mosley under the bus and minimize his own involvement.
      Tim Mosley didn't even know Justin Back; Myers did, and Myers knew about the parents' safe and gun, and he came up with the plan and got Mosley to be his muscle.

      It's actually true according to Biblical coding. Jesus said ye are a brood of vipers. He wasn't joking. These are the tares that are spoken about. The wheat and the tares parable. Snakes can't control their tongues. That thing licking his lips isn't human. And in no way.. shape form or fashion is it human. He's lying thru it's sharp reptile teeth.

The planning and pre meditation it takes to even attempt to pull it off is crazy, let alone actually trying to live amongst society like it’s didn’t happen. If you hate someone and wish them dead out loud that’s one thing, but hating someone so much that you can plan their death in your head and then pay someone to kill them, i think that’s more sinister and diabolical than killing for money. Your taking advantage of someone to do a favor bc you have something they need. Their intent is to kill for the money that someone else gave them, so why does the person who offered the job deserve to live but the murderer doesn’t? I’m not saying you are wrong bc I understand your feeling on it. Sammy "Tippy Toes" Gravano admitted to murdering numerous people and he has his own UA-cam Channel now. Figure that one out folks? A good attorney will get this guy's case looked at again. Nobody made the other guy commit the crime. This is just ANOTHER example of "Equal Justice" under U.S. Law. The second case with the Black defendant. AUTO-SMOKE...period.
