- "Live Your Truth, and Other Lies" is about to be released, so today, I want to share with you why I decided to write it and what was my inspiration for doing so.

Glad Alisa wrote this book. Looking forward to see her unpacking and analysis of several "cultural slogans" that people buy into all-too-easily. Who knows? Her book may help many un-churched folks to get their eyes opened and see more of the emptiness in too many things that people accept today.
PS-- I often wonder how much better off the world might be if-- we all woke up tomorrow and-- motivational speaking and seminars had disappeared off of the earth. Seriously-- friends can always encourage us, but no one should NEED rah-rah seminars of slogans to get thru life. If we REALLY "believe-in-ourselves", why not PROVE it, by ignoring motivational speakers, and authors? I mean why not?, if you really "ARE enough"? (sarcastic wink) Who needs a guru?

My belief is that humans are not inherently good or inherently evil. We're just inherently HUMAN, capable of love and capable of harm. The pursuit of the good is the commitment to grow in the knowledge, experience, and giving of love. This is the ultimate goal of my life.

Those are definitely questions that must be answered. "Who are we? is another way of saying "What is truth," To think we are human automatically separates us from God into bodies. Bodies cannot give us truth because of what bodies perceive. Jesus said, " Judge not by appearance but judge by righteous judgment." Righteous judgment is through our connection with God, prayer.
Did God create us perfect like He is or faulty? Do we have the power to change God's creation?
Truth is truth whether we believe it or not, I agree with that. Some truths are unchanging. Some truths do change.. a person's emotions, values, knowledge, health, living arrangements, and so on and so on.
For me the phrase that "truth is fluid" may just refer to these truths that change about us as we grow. And I use the phrase "my truth" to relate to truths that are specific to my life and experience.
Though I think you may misunderstand people like me who use these phrases, I am interested to read your book to get a better understanding of your viewpoint. Thank you for your hard work and bravery in sharing your thoughts in this book.

Your book is very much needed on this times, everytime that I'm watching Christian content on UA-cam there's always some add about another deceptive philosophy with the promise of "unlock your true potential" "a higher level of consciousness" to "manipulate the spiritual energy", we just can't keep quiet, our main responsibility is to spread the one and only truth from the Gospel

She does mention the bible to make contrast with other ideologies that pull people away from God, before sharing the gospel straight forward to people we gotta make them question what they already believe because let's face it, Christianity IS offensive when you're not open to it, our duty it's to call people to repentance not to condemn them or hearten their hearts, many atheists have come to the faith after reading Narnia or some other apologetics book, why would God give us the gift of writing if it wasn't to use it for his glory?

Truth never needed a book.
True. But for people who are still searching to find Truth, to have a book that has the Truth, or explains or has it recorded accurately, is a useful tool. Truth might not NEED a book, but having an "accurate cheat-sheet" or book to explain it faster, is often a welcome thing. It can be a good way for people who have already found Truth to share/explain it to others.

I will ask all Christians, specifically for those that believe in hell, to please, as a thought experiment to try to believe in something that you don't? For example my brain doesn't allow me to believe the Christian God or any of the other Gods people believe in. Do you believe that I deserve to burn in hell forever because my brain doesn't allow me to believe in your God? According to Christianity 75% of humanity will burn in eternal torment please explain how you rationalize this? For many years I sought Jesus...humbly. As a child...I even asked Jesus to save me at the alter. But I've never known or heard from Jesus throughout my lifetime. Technically I do know Jesus as I've known...Harry Potter, Tom Sawyer, Muhammad, Buddha, Luke Skywalker, Thor, Zeus and... every other person fiction or not that I've read about. But this knowing isn't real to most Christians? But I do see Christians that are fighting to make America a Christian Nationalist nation! I see Christians supporting liars and traitors like Trump...forcing raped women and children to give birth...fighting against the science of climate change and vaccines...fighting against men and women's rights to love one another! Can you live your truth without forcing your will upon others? Is it possible? Or do you think your are more moral for forcing women and children to give birth of which 75% will grow up to ultimatley end up burning in eternal torture?
I'm sorry that you sought Christ and were let down. I wonder in what setting were you raised that encouraged you to seek Him out? The reason I wonder is because, having grown up as a Bible-believing Christian myself, I only realized in recent years how ignorant I was about some of my beliefs, and how fortunate I have been not to be led astray by secular deceit. I saw the American Gospel documentary and came to understand just how many phony and false teachers are out there "preaching the gospel" for their own gain. Not only do these leaders teach just another version of the gospel of self, but they are also the sort to loudly give the name of Christ a bad reputation in so many ways.
I recognize that a couple of the topics you have brought up, such as abortion, are still things that truly biblical Christians do stand against, and so yes, there are clear disagreements that remain, but I would urge you to listen to more of what is being said about the matter from people like Alisa herself as well as authors like Natasha Crain and the like. It is quite possible you will still disagree, but I would argue that they at least incorporate more of the "why" behind our stance, such as what defines morality and truth, rather than just the typical talking points we hear from those who aren't really diving deeply.
As a younger/more knowledgeably immature Christian, I knew much of the Bible but also hardly read or studied it until my college years, and have only come to greater understanding through finally doing so on a frequent basis. If you have not done this, I would encourage you to (perhaps with the aid of someone like Mike Winger or Chris Rosebrough). If you *have* already studied scripture, which I presume you very well may have done, perhaps consider reading Alisa's last book, Another Gospel. I was personally grateful to walk with her through her faith crisis and all of the ways she was faced with finding answers to why she still believes in God and the Bible. Again, I'll acknowledge you may still have disagreements, but these things I have recommended will at least likely broaden your understanding behind the faith.

Religion is always dealing with you and what you're doing and what you're not doing,
anytime you're sitting around thinking what should I be doing you're under religion,
the grace of God is dealing what Christ did.

Like many "Christians" today, Satan believes Jesus died on the cross, but not for HIS sins. He believes Jesus has risen, but not for HIS eternal life.
Satan believes the event of the cross but never put his trust in Christ's finished work for salvation.
Salvation is not: Believing there is a God. (Satan believes that)
Salvation is not: Believing Christ was the Messiah. (Satan believes that)
Salvation is not even... Believing Christ died, was buried and rose the third day. (Satan believes that also)
Salvation is: Believing Christ died for YOUR EVERY SIN and trusting that He rose to give you eternal life IN HIM!
Something Satan and most Christians want no part of because of their PRIDE!
If denominationalists truly believed Christ forgave their sins, they wouldn't spend so much time trying to GET them forgiven.
One tells you to pray for forgiveness.
One tells you to confess for forgiveness.
One tells you to believe for forgiveness.
One tells you to repent for forgiveness.
One tells you to be baptized for forgiveness.

Today I unapologetically proclaim that there is only one way to be saved, and it has nothing to do with getting your sins forgiven. Salvations through FAITH. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Salvation comes to those who are ready to give up on THEIR performance and rest their faith in JESUS' performance.
The path to salvation is narrow. SO narrow that nothing you do will fit.
Satan will never be saved for the same reason he was kicked out of heaven. P-R-I-D-E. (Isaiah 14:12-14)

Like a vain person in front of the mirror, five times in only three verses he boasts of himself. Pride keeps Satan from being saved as it does most of the world. They have fallen victim to SELFIANITY and are incapable of letting go and letting God. Incapable of taking their filthy hands off their salvation and allowing God to save them by HIS finished work!
If you say --- "I said a prayer for forgiveness." "I confessed for forgiveness." "I believed for forgiveness." "I repented for forgiveness." "I was baptized for forgiveness."
Then sadly you have fallen for the five I's just like Satan.
Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven, it's believing they already ARE!
To be saved, you must first get "I" out of the way.
You only get two educations, the one you're given and the one you give yourself!
