Great work! How do you get your darks so dark with graphite? Every time I use graphite, it never seems dark enough even if I layer and use the pitt graphite.
The way the graphite is layered makes a massive difference. I always build up my darker values gradually. The Pitt graphite, is that the matt pencils? I have a set but haven't used them for a full project yet but I prefer to work with the Derwent Graphic pencils because they erase really well unlike the Pitt graphite from the small test I did.
