I don't know anything about musicals or Broadway. But yesterday I was watching at the Tony Awards by chance, and I saw that excellent number that amazed me. It's also made me want to know more about The Who. Fantastic, thanks for posting.
Saw it a couple of weeks ago. I see a LOT of theatre and this is absolutely spectacular. Easily one of my all-time top 5. Ali (who plays Tommy) is amazing, and the production is off the charts.
This show was incredible. A pity this TV segment can't capture the visceral thrill I got in the theatre. I've never given a standing ovation so willingly.
I'm so sad this is closing so soon!!!! It's a weird show but amazing, run to see it while you can! The ensemble is fantastic and I'm obsessed with Ali Louis Bourzgui's voice!
I honestly was not interested in The Who's Tommy show at all (as I had not heard much of it) before this, but this performance is really making me considering getting tickets!
I haven't seen this musical so unfortunately I can't fully judge The Who's Tommy but just reading the summary as a disabled person felt a bit disturbing and also the use of the outdated word dumb just really rubs me the wrong way and I don't seem to get why people like this and don't see anything dodgy with it
It’s Townshend’s original lyric from 1969, and the story takes place in the 1950s. Disabled people were not as protected-they were institutionalized, marginalized, and hardly assisted by the government. Consider it a historical piece.
The show is fabulous! Run, don't walk, to see it.

I love how the band gets into it ❤they picked the perfect Tommy

I do agree 100%. I saw it a few days ago on Broadway. Outstanding
Need the cast recording released date
Saw this in April and it was fantastic.
Wow this is amazing I hope to see this soon, this is definitely on my list of broadway musicals that I would like to see someday.
Great show- saw it last month and it was outstanding!
Definitely recommend seeing this show! I saw it in Chicago and New York
Great show really. I saw the musical in Broadway a few days ago. Fantastic. My favourite. I didn’t think it would be so beautiful.

Ngl I cried like a bitch
@@leonardjulius6098So I’m not the only one. They caught me 😅
Can't believe the show is already closing on Broadway so soon
Saw it recently. Loved it!
Saw it back in May. Exhilarating!
Bravo! Great show go to see it a lot acción music is great
Really good performance by lead singer and of course hearing Who songs is cool.
If you missed the Chicago and NY runs, it's apparently going on tour in 2025. Don't miss it!
Awesome!
We saw it, it was amazing
Hope they play New Year's Rockin' Eve 2025 with the Who themselves. Sad that neither GMA nor the Today Show will book Roger on their concert series.

Pete the genius 😉🇬🇧
Hey Good Morning America 😊👋
this appearance did the show no favors. Much better in the theater with the actual sets and sound system. Looks really cheesy here
There’s a generation of people who grew up with this music who won’t care.

Keith Moon would have kicked that entire stage over
I’m waiting for the Iron Maiden musical with the pg family version of Eddie. Generation Z doesn’t know how to rock.
Is he the Russian because Intel labeled me Russian but i have papers 😎🍦
This is an insult to the Who
This is so awful… The lead is so miscast and the choreography is just terrible and weird. The original on Broadway was so amazing - this is a mess.
Des McAnuff directed both shows. I don’t think they’re much different. Tommy sounds just like Michael Cerveris.
Cringe

I dont remember queen doing this 😳 its like happy days mixed with i love lucy 😳 seriously 🤨
Queen? You mean The Who.
@@GjpgrD your right. Queen had Danny boys while the who had tommy boy and our global music club struggles to define a woman ♀️. My bad 🎧😎🍦🎶
Queen has their own musical and it’s even more cheesy than this. But it’s become a fixture in the West End.
Complete garbage.
As I recall Tommy was a Rock Opera not whatever that was.
This sounds terrible vocally
Just pathetic
