Hey Brook, you’ll probably never read this comment since there’s just so many, but I needed to tell you how much you have impacted my life and soul. I’ve only been watching you for a few days but there’s no doubt God led me to your channel. I’ve been in such a depression!!! My family became homeless in the middle of July. We live in southern Maine. We camped in a tent on a farm until we bought a camper and we’re in that until a month ago. I was laid off from my job the end of October. We’ve been living with my sister in law since. We have some things going on next month that will be making life better for us but it’s been hard since then. You have truly been my inspiration and joy. You have reminded me to be thankful for the little things. I’ve also been so thankful for your quiet time. Those times in your videos were you don’t talk at all!!! When there’s no need for talk!!! Just to live in the moment and enjoy the peace of nature. And the beautiful gifts of this beautiful earth that God has given us. You are me in another life. A life 30 years ago and with good bones. I’m 47 but am the youngest of 10. I have many birth defects. Basically crooked bones. So there’s so much pain. I could go on and on forever with you but I just wanted you to know that you have touched my life so deeply and just keep doing what you’re doing!!! I’m sure you are an inspiration to so many. I went to the healing School at the River Chuch in Tampa. It is free and amazing. Let's of people were healed of so many ailments and mental depression. I will pray for your healing. Yes. These videos are inspiring.
Elaina: Dear lady, I am so sorry. I am 62 and disabled. Pain is just a part of my daily life too. I had a bad time in February and before I was taken into the ambulance I died and found myself standing in the sky. I felt the wonderful , undescribable love of Jesus. God is real and He loves you more than you ever loved anyone. Being back here was an adjustment for me but now, no matter what happens in my life I know his love is enough.We are just passing through this world and heaven is going to be so great! "This is what this girl needed - badly" Oh, I hear you. This 72 yr old guy has been laid up for over a year with arthritis. The only hiking I could manage was to the end of the driveway & back for the mail. Then a little over a month ago I had hip replacement surgery. I've started walking again - maybe only a mile or two at a time - but every time - every goddamned time - I find myself sobbing with joy. Just feeling the sun on my face again, hearing the wind and running water, smelling the dead leaves - tears of relief, happiness, nostalgia, whatever, running down my face... It's what I needed, too. Badly.
Dont eat foods with lechtins. They scrape the intestines. Get book on anti inflammation diet. . Take wild alaskin salmon oil at 3 times dosage. Take product. I empathize with you. I had a knee replacement 5 years ago but 3 years ago I realized a hip replacement was imminent. Stupidly I tried to postpone it until fall so I could "enjoy" the summer. By August the pain was so intense I felt suicidal. After regaining my senses and having the surgery I was able to walk again. Many younger people are unable to appreciate how totally disabling osteoarthritis can be. It can often be not just a "little stiffness" when you get out of bed but a constant intense pain that no medication or PT can alleviate. I was an Army infantryman in Nam and also enjoyed camping, fishing and almost all outdoor adventures. Although I cannot engage in all those wonderful outdoor activities I can again take part to some degree. You and I should enjoy to the greatest extent possible. Brooke and Dave help us to regain the real and vicarious pleasures of the wonderful outdoor life.
@@lesnyk255 haha! love this-- I was laid low by severe rheumatoid arthritis at 34, 28 years ago, heard it all, tried it all, now most of my large joints are artificial, none of that crap works, sadly just hardcore meds, even chemo, steroids and opioids.... was a farm girl, forester and then licensed auto mechanic so very physical and outdoorsy-- I really do hear you-- good luck, do the best you can.... drink in the nature, to hell with apple cider vinegar....
I turn 51 in 6 days, & feel every year of it! We're still here, though, & there's still life in us that we get to investigate! I've finally learned to love myself, & it's never too late for that! We just have to get through what I call the "maintenance phase", when we get our little tuneups & poor health addressed🙂 Now on to the 2nd phase of life, humble & grateful♡

Go Girl! You can do it. 78 year old single woman farmer, I’ve lived alone all my life….first in wilderness, now in very rural High Desert California. I built everything on my property and still do so. As long as something is under 60 pounds, I can lift it….if I can’t I look for a way to make it work without having to ask for help. What I did was to build 10x12 cottages. Anything that size doesn’t need a permit here. Each little cottage is task specific…one a bedroom, one a shower which is basically a greenhouse type structure, one a kitchen, one a bathroom. Something that size is easy to tackle even for a small woman. Even though living this life keeps you in shape, still, the muscles used are task specific….one needs to keep working out so all the body is toned. I have a total gym, a stair climber, a stationary bike plus I do Tai Chi and work out with escrima sticks. While I am watching a movie, I am working out, or using hand weights.
for the opening wall put the string over the top of the cabin and hanging on the other side of the cabin so when you pull the string the wall goes up.. maybe with a pulley at the top of the cabin.. or something like that but i mean using the top of the cabin..

I decided back in March that I didn't want to lose my taste and smell, or maybe even die. That's why I got fully vaccinated as soon as possible. I stood in line for 2 1/2 hours to get the first shot. Back in my youth I waited longer for concert tickets. Seemed like a small price to pay for peace of mind. I do hope that if you aren't vaccinated you will decide to remedy that as soon as possible. Medical guidance indicates that natural immunity doesn't last as long as vaccination. The good news is that natural immunity in combination with vaccination conveys the best resistance of all to the disease. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Happy Birthday and many more.

I never lost my sense of smell or taste. But couldn't even think of eating for 10 days. Then when I was feeling better, I got the covid pneumonia. Hope you do better than me.

I turn 51 in 6 days, & feel every year of it! We're still here, though, & there's still life in us that we get to investigate! I've finally learned to love myself, & it's never too late for that! We just have to get through what I call the "maintenance phase", when we get our little tuneups & poor health addressed🙂 Now on to the 2nd phase of life, humble & grateful♡

Go Girl! You can do it. 78 year old single woman farmer, I’ve lived alone all my life….first in wilderness, now in very rural High Desert California. I built everything on my property and still do so. As long as something is under 60 pounds, I can lift it….if I can’t I look for a way to make it work without having to ask for help.
What I did was to build 10x12 cottages. Anything that size doesn’t need a permit here. Each little cottage is task specific…one a bedroom, one a shower which is basically a greenhouse type structure, one a kitchen, one a bathroom. Something that size is easy to tackle even for a small woman.
Even though living this life keeps you in shape, still, the muscles used are task specific….one needs to keep working out so all the body is toned. I have a total gym, a stair climber, a stationary bike plus I do Tai Chi and work out with escrima sticks. While I am watching a movie, I am working out, or using hand weights.

for the opening wall put the string over the top of the cabin and hanging on the other side of the cabin so when you pull the string the wall goes up.. maybe with a pulley at the top of the cabin.. or something like that but i mean using the top of the cabin..
My dad made a bunch of those candle lanterns for church during Christmas, he gave me a few of them. I love them.

So sorry you have been sick, I'm home from work for a few days after finding out a coworker tested positive for covid ... so several of us are waiting to get tested! Trusting the Lord is in control of this 77 yr old's life ... He's kept me here for this long! Blessings on you and yours!
I decided back in March that I didn't want to lose my taste and smell, or maybe even die. That's why I got fully vaccinated as soon as possible. I stood in line for 2 1/2 hours to get the first shot. Back in my youth I waited longer for concert tickets. Seemed like a small price to pay for peace of mind. I do hope that if you aren't vaccinated you will decide to remedy that as soon as possible. Medical guidance indicates that natural immunity doesn't last as long as vaccination. The good news is that natural immunity in combination with vaccination conveys the best resistance of all to the disease. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Happy Birthday and many more.

It was awful losing smell and taste. Didn't realize how much I took it for granted, and how much it assists us in daily living. And the smell of the woods in the fall is one of my favorite things!
