G-Class fans, pay attention! For this episode, Felix embarks on a very special journey - to the birthplace of the Mercedes-AMG G-Class in Graz. After glimpsing the first ever Mercedes-AMG G-Classes on a tour of the Mercedes-AMG archives with Michael, he tests his limits with the Mercedes-AMG G 63 at the G-Class Experience Center under the guidance of instructor Marc Sussner. For everyone who has never seen a G Class in real life, the doors in itself are a joy. They look so nice and they are so wide and heavy. When you close them they make a AWESOME sound.
In fact, i remember the first time when i was in a showroom and tried to close the door, it didnt close cause i did it way too soft/slow :D
I own Hyundai grand i10. But G63 is my dream car. G63 is a miracle from Mercedes ❤🧡💛

@@MercedesBenz I love the fact that it has kept its identity for its whole lifetime. It has a timeless style and it still turns heads here in the uk. There is a lot of love out there for the g, it still stands out against a backdrop of bland cars on the road. My 300GD drinks diesel, it smokes(my own fault by playing with the fuel and adding a turbo to the solid OM617) and lacks a lot of modern comforts but I will keep it, fix it and cherish it till the end of my days. One day I would like to have a new g to keep my old W460 company, I’m sure I have would enough love to look after them both for the rest of my life. All I ask is you keep it exactly how it is because it’s perfect, you can change whatever you like under the body but it must always be instantly recognisable as a G Wagen.
I will have to go back and translate the interview, did many of the models with the s class front end get made?, I used to have a 230CE and that style really resonates with me. It looked amazing, I’m surprised Mercedes did not put them in to full production, it looks really fitting on the G body.
