This is so amazing and encouraging. I did my first first year in 2019 at Wits and I was struggling so much while other students were just cruising. I disliked the course and I was depressed. I dropped out half way in and had to move to Pretoria to baby sit my uncle’s kids. While at it I was doing research about what I was going to study and also applying at different Universities. 2020 I started a new degree at UJ, struggled a bit and eventually got ahold of things. Sometimes feeling too drained for school, sometimes wanting to quit but pushed. I’m now doing my second year and sometimes I beat myself up telling myself that if I had started the right way I’d be doing my final year now. But one thing about God! He knows what he’s doing! Indeed failures can be blessings in disguise and God’s timing is always perfect! I’m doing okay and I’m happy where I am.
I found myself tearing up, because I can relate, and what I take from this is that you can be humble with your excellence and don't ever underestimate or look down on anyone you come across with because light and message can come from everywhere. You've upgraded my faith and now I know that no matter how painful and infuriating it might be, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for everything, Kennete Modimo a swabishe 😢
There is a saying letsi: " You learn more from failure than from success. Don’t let it stop you. Failure builds character" When you replace ‘lose’ with ‘learn’ in your vocabulary, the thought of failure becomes less daunting and lets you focus on growth. What a great and amazing inspiration and motivation to not just the upcoming generation but us as a whole Nation futsi Mr Mancidi, uyabona today I learnt alot... God gives us hopes and dreams for certain things to happen in our lives, but He doesn't always allow us to see the exact timing of His plan...The bible says in Isaiah 40:31“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Your story is so touching....my background isn't that great i went through a lot while doing my matric but i was able to get two distinctions 😭🙌🏽☺God is good all the time...i got in into UJ as well in 2020 i got two distinctions in philosophy and psychology.... 2021 I'm a second year Psych student...i was diagnosed with Major depressive disorder MDD and panick disorder..😭its so hard coping but hearing your story gives me hope gore I'll do better even if I'm mentally strained....i just pray to God i make it
Two things in this video, God and Love... But he is Love and therefore your story has nothing but God in it. Most definitely God puts people in place to get you to where he needs you and, loved you so much that one of them was who you are spending your life with. I'm touched and I'm also cheering for you. When I hear of how God has worked in peoples lives I just cbecome teary cos I see him working in mine everyday in ways I cannot imagine and He brings angels whenever I am at lost. God is really not dead. He is forever faithful. I trust in Him always. 🙏🙏🙏

I feel so inspired by your story. I did N5 in electrical engineering nd changed the course to something different. But now its been years looking for learnerships because i realised later that i really love engineering but im struggling to get learnerships. So inspiring Mr Manchidi esp for me because I’m in the same field as you, lol almost same story with Eskom.. I was a bursar there and after our training they didn’t hire us 😢😢.. it was a stressful time for me, I was home and seeking a job but it wasn’t working.. lol I even wanted to change courses and do IT.. but God said “no my child, I have bigger things than that for you” 🙌🏾🙌🏾.. now I’m a junior engineer at a mine busy with my GCC program and aspiring to be an Operations Engineer.. And it’s all thanks to God.. if I was at Eskom it wouldn’t have turned out this great..

I'm currently studying online doing my Matric but the challenge is that I feel stuck and I'm suppose to write in a few months to come🥺. Sometimes I feel like quitting. I'm working and studying at the same time. I'm working 10 hours a day and I'm off only one day a week. I'm always exhausted. It really becomes a challenge for me to study but I know God never fails. At the end it'll all work out for my good for there's nothing impossible with him. I know he'll make a way. I choose not to worry, not to complain but to trust him with all my heart. I choose to put my whole focus on God not on the challenges that i'm facing.
