I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THESE TWO TEAMS! They are both so good and you know you are going to get a good battle when these two come together. There is an ELITE SQUARE when it comes to dance teams, Dancing Dolls, YCDT Supastarz, Purple Diamonds, and Prancing Tigerettes. Those 4 teams are the ones to watch and you know you have to pull all your guns out for.
My two favorite teams 😆 YCDT are good at what they do and DD4L are good at what they do, it doesn't matter if they lose or not they are both great teams

I love that so many people put the superstars over the dancing dolls because it just shows who doesn't have a true eye for synchronized dancing. The number one reason the dancing dolls are elite is because the majority of them have been dancing dolls and dancing together since they were little girls. So when they perform its as second nature as breathing walking and talking. You're a fool if you think the superstars are more on point with every stand than the dancing dolls. Most of these dancing dolls can out dance most groups in their sleep simply because they've been trained to master dancing doll techniques since they were babies. And as a result they're best at being dancing dolls. And dancing dolls are so good they force other teams to step up their game. The Dancing Dolls don't have to catch the superstars. The superstars have to get on the dancing dolls reality. Only a sophisticated judge would be able to see this. Gilene Salomon the superstars may have been dancing since their were babies but what I was implying was most of the dolls have been dancing "together" under the dancing dolls since they were very young. It's well documented how most of the dolls usually start as baby dolls. So these girls are literally growing up together practicing the same techniques over and over together. The term is called muscle memory. The Superstars have that because they are talented but not to the degree the Dolls do simply for the reason the Dolls have been doing it for longer. Don't act like the superstars have been around competing and battling since the early 2000s because they haven't. They were formed as a competition team to battle the Dolls specifically. That's the highest compliment you can give any team when you're the sole reason for their existence. The Superstars are talented girls because they all aspire to succeed in dance and that's why they belong to the PAVAC program in their city. But don't act like Tracy is their only teacher and trainer because that's not true. Basically you have a bunch of girls who are talented but not necessarily gifted but who work hard to perfect their craft and because of this they have a show that puts a spotlight on everybody that practices majorette dancing ( the Dancing Dolls) and another group of girls who were gifted enough to be accepted into a performing arts program and trained by the best in many different fields of dance who saw an opportunity created by the dancing dolls and want to seize the moment (the superstars). Kudos to them too. But the superstars were and are talented dancers before and without Tracy. The same can't be said for many of the girls of the dancing dolls. Mrs D and her team are the sole reason many of these girls are good. The Dancing Dolls have forced the superstars and every other majorette team to step their game up and come with their best because they know they're on national tv competing. It's the Dolls who are facing challengers each and every week. All these teams doing everything they can to say they beat the dancing dolls. That lets you know who the standard is. When the superstars get their own show and some competition other than the Dolls then maybe they can be the gold bearer for majorette squads in this country. Right now theyre just a guest team that's featured every now and then and that's cool but the stars of this show. The celebrities. The ones who are booked to dance all over the country are the Dancing Dolls. All that other shyt is for the birds. And as far as the judges go I've seen the Dolls lose to many weak ass performances so these judges ain't on shyt. Especially when it comes to being on tv and creating drama. And folks kill me calling the superstars professional. You're professional when you get paid to practice your craft. It's the Dolls who are making ALL the money here to dance. They're the professionals lol.

I could care less how many techniques or styles of dance you think the superstars have mastered. If theyre so good why are they only on tv to build a name off the Dolls success? Competing against a team that according to many of their fans isn't in their league? The Dolls do things other teams don't do but yet they've lost to these teams. I think it was a little much for YCDT having those signs telling Dancing Dolls what "Real Dance" is. That's a little much. We know that the two's dancing styles are different, but don't tell them girls that what they are doing is NOT "Real Dance".

She don't have time for them to work out when they compete every week because they were on tour. At least they try their best. Not everybody is perfect. In all in fairness the Dancing Dolls compete every weekend. Ycdt practice every weekend which means they had more times to get their routine together. Although some of the Dancing Dolls are out of shape and Mrs.Diana should put new choreography together for them they are still one of the BEST TEAMS. Both teams were on ON POINT! Lines were clean and even. It was definitely refreshing to see the DD without all those packs of hair on their heads. All that hair takes away from those beautiful costumes. 😊

I say, the girls are tired. I feel like they need at lease a week to rest up. These girls practice every day and compete every week and I feel like their tired. Once they rest up, I believe they will do better. Sometimes we can only push our bodies to a certain point where we need rest. Remember, these girls go to school Monday -Friday and at the end of the day they still have homework. To me, that's a lot. With all that being said, I love the Dancing Dolls and Mrs. D. She keep it real and I can see the sincerity she have for her girls.

Ummm last time I checked a bat, signs, scarves, shirts with copycat, Tu-Tu's, etc, are gimmicks correct me if I am wrong, she kind of contradicted herself when she came out with signs.
lilhypnotique I think you are slightly confused between a gimmick and a prop. A gimmick is something use in place of whereas a prop is used to go along with. For instance, when Dolls were battling in the last battle against YCDT, they used the guy, the power car, the smoke, and the baby dolls in place of dancing. Whereas YCDT danced WITH bats, signs, shirts, tutu's and scarves. None of these things took away from their dancing, in fact it was used to add to the dancing. The signs would be the only thing considered "gimmicky" because it had no relevance to the performance, however it fell into the concept of their "boxing" theme.

Every dance, sports instructor should always make sure that their dancer, skater etc, are always in shape. Being in shape helps to keep them from getting injuries, get winded and get sloppy during their dance. Ms. D should always have them warm up adequately. They should also be able to complete their stands or creative dance several times without getting sloppy. Ha they will be winded, but it will be easier to recover from.

As a 16 year old enrolled in dance at 2 years old: the ycdt bragging a lot about being able to do "real dance" but everytime they do a ballet move it looks like they have had no training. Terrible technique
+FuzzyStripedZebraz there technique has definitely improved from here its like you never know what to expect from this team, their coach traci trains them all year round and make sure they're are point on this battle it might not seem that way to you guys but from what i seen in person of them they definitely improved more. Also if they were lacking some moves it might have to do with their energy they all can't stay on point the whole time it's 3 stands they have to throw no water no nothing so you shouldn't expect it to be all that great, which is why i was surprised with the dolls energy level it's not like them to look so unenergized. Of course i wouldn't compare them to those other groups, i mean these girls are not professionals like ALDC, MDP, & etc they're just starting out but it must be something great about their technique because half of the whole squad have gotten accepted into great colleges, so i'm sure when they go to college and start practicing there technique will improve even more. And trust me half of these UA-cam people that comment don't always tell the truth about when they started dancing they sometimes lie (not saying that person was) i'm just saying in general because a lot of people dislike YCDT so they say things to make it seem like they're better but i can tell you're experienced because it's obvious you know what you're talking about. The dancing dolls held their own against the ycdt. Keep in mind that ycdt are dance educated and have a former Miami heat dancer as a coach. I also belive most of them are in college. While the dancing dolls run from 9 to 18 years old and most of them haven't had lyrical dance classes other than coach d's dance studio.
I think the DD4L rippped that. Their stands and look was way more professional and clean. They looked more like real dancers to me. The YCDT team look like thot-ish lol

Im a dancing doll fan true enough but you have to give it to YCDT they did they damn thing and that performance was flawless and on point. I was highly disapointed that dancing dolls was not as prepared as I thought they would be.

Don't act like the superstars have been around competing and battling since the early 2000s because they haven't. They were formed as a competition team to battle the Dolls specifically. That's the highest compliment you can give any team when you're the sole reason for their existence.
The Superstars are talented girls because they all aspire to succeed in dance and that's why they belong to the PAVAC program in their city. But don't act like Tracy is their only teacher and trainer because that's not true. Basically you have a bunch of girls who are talented but not necessarily gifted but who work hard to perfect their craft and because of this they have a show that puts a spotlight on everybody that practices majorette dancing ( the Dancing Dolls) and another group of girls who were gifted enough to be accepted into a performing arts program and trained by the best in many different fields of dance who saw an opportunity created by the dancing dolls and want to seize the moment (the superstars). Kudos to them too. But the superstars were and are talented dancers before and without Tracy. The same can't be said for many of the girls of the dancing dolls. Mrs D and her team are the sole reason many of these girls are good.
The Dancing Dolls have forced the superstars and every other majorette team to step their game up and come with their best because they know they're on national tv competing. It's the Dolls who are facing challengers each and every week. All these teams doing everything they can to say they beat the dancing dolls. That lets you know who the standard is. When the superstars get their own show and some competition other than the Dolls then maybe they can be the gold bearer for majorette squads in this country. Right now theyre just a guest team that's featured every now and then and that's cool but the stars of this show. The celebrities. The ones who are booked to dance all over the country are the Dancing Dolls. All that other shyt is for the birds.
And as far as the judges go I've seen the Dolls lose to many weak ass performances so these judges ain't on shyt. Especially when it comes to being on tv and creating drama. And folks kill me calling the superstars professional. You're professional when you get paid to practice your craft. It's the Dolls who are making ALL the money here to dance. They're the professionals lol.
+Mic Mecca the supastarz are talented to the degree that the dolls are, just because the dolls may have been dancing together/longer doesn't make them a better team 😕 you don't know how long the girls on YCDT have been dancing just because they haven't danced together since they were babies doesn't mean anything. YCDT does things that the dolls don't do or even learned how to master yet, also same way you said traci isn't the only teacher is the same thing that goes for dianna we all know dianna doesn't come up with all that choreography on her own this season proved it we all seen the two boys in the studio helping her. And how do you know the supastarz aren't gifted? same way you said the dolls make the supastarz and other teams step up their game is the same way the supastarz made the dolls step up their game the dolls aren't use to battling teams that is on the same level as them, and that's great that the dolls have their own show and are getting booked all over the country to perform that's good for them. Meanwhile, half of the entire YCDT team is getting scholarships and getting accepted into great colleges for dancing so it's a win for both teams! The judges can be weak at times when it comes to the dolls but when they choose YCDT over the dolls that's NEVER a weak decision because YCDT is an amazing team, and what's wrong with people calling YCDT professionals? they dance just like them, they know every style of dance, technique is on point, they're very clean & sharp, they don't try to out dance each other, they are well put together and organized so comparing them to professionals isn't a problem. Your logic is completely different from mines what does money have to do with someone being a professional? just because the dolls get paid doesn't mean anything, "Bring It" is not gonna be here forever it's gonna end one day. Money doesn't mean anything when it comes to dancing sweetheart YCDT & DD are both great teams just leave it at that!
I could care less how many techniques or styles of dance you think the superstars have mastered. If theyre so good why are they only on tv to build a name off the Dolls success? Competing against a team that according to many of their fans isn't in their league? The Dolls do things other teams don't do but yet they've lost to these teams. Just like the superstars have lost before to the Dolls. So with all this technique and ability they got that's supposed to be so much better they still lost to a team that according to you is weaker. The truth is the Dolls are better when it comes to dancing together. Just because the superstars are different doesn't mean better. I've seen the Dolls lose to weaker performances because of these judges so it's not hard for me to see that some of these judges can be fooled to think that the superstars are winning stands that they aren't. Everybody likes different right? Especially when it's as good as the superstars.

And learn what professional means before you keep throwing that term around. I gave you the definition but apparently facts aren't your forte. And money in this sense means VALUE. Something the Dolls have and Tracy and her squad are tryna get.

I say, the girls are tired. I feel like they need at lease a week to rest up. These girls practice every day and compete every week and I feel like their tired. Once they rest up, I believe they will do better. Sometimes we can only push our bodies to a certain point where we need rest. Remember, these girls go to school Monday -Friday and at the end of the day they still have homework. To me, that's a lot. With all that being said, I love the Dancing Dolls and Mrs. D. She keep it real and I can see the sincerity she have for her girls.

lilhypnotique I think you are slightly confused between a gimmick and a prop. A gimmick is something use in place of whereas a prop is used to go along with. For instance, when Dolls were battling in the last battle against YCDT, they used the guy, the power car, the smoke, and the baby dolls in place of dancing. Whereas YCDT danced WITH bats, signs, shirts, tutu's and scarves. None of these things took away from their dancing, in fact it was used to add to the dancing. The signs would be the only thing considered "gimmicky" because it had no relevance to the performance, however it fell into the concept of their "boxing" theme.

This battle could have went either way. Neither team was perfect. Both have strenghts and weaknesses.
Every dance, sports instructor should always make sure that their dancer, skater etc, are always in shape. Being in shape helps to keep them from getting injuries, get winded and get sloppy during their dance. Ms. D should always have them warm up adequately. They should also be able to complete their stands or creative dance several times without getting sloppy. Ha they will be winded, but it will be easier to recover from.

As a 16 year old enrolled in dance at 2 years old: the ycdt bragging a lot about being able to do "real dance" but everytime they do a ballet move it looks like they have had no training. Terrible technique

Also if they were lacking some moves it might have to do with their energy they all can't stay on point the whole time it's 3 stands they have to throw no water no nothing so you shouldn't expect it to be all that great, which is why i was surprised with the dolls energy level it's not like them to look so unenergized. Of course i wouldn't compare them to those other groups, i mean these girls are not professionals like ALDC, MDP, & etc they're just starting out but it must be something great about their technique because half of the whole squad have gotten accepted into great colleges, so i'm sure when they go to college and start practicing there technique will improve even more. And trust me half of these UA-cam people that comment don't always tell the truth about when they started dancing they sometimes lie (not saying that person was) i'm just saying in general because a lot of people dislike YCDT so they say things to make it seem like they're better but i can tell you're experienced because it's obvious you know what you're talking about. I understand what you're saying and when i said their technique is perfect i wasn't basing it on this battle i was basing it off of what i seen of them dancing in person, but i agree with you that in some areas they need some improving and you're right they're aren't perfect no ones is but it really isn't that bad like you said & no you didn't offend me at all i respect your opinion and i agree with you.

The dancing dolls held their own against the ycdt. Keep in mind that ycdt are dance educated and have a former Miami heat dancer as a coach. I also belive most of them are in college. While the dancing dolls run from 9 to 18 years old and most of them haven't had lyrical dance classes other than coach d's dance studio.
