Thank you so much for this. I searched the internet for what was wrong with my m1 macbook because it wasnt going through but your info about rosetta helped me
Thank you so very much. I am beginning my editing setup of short Cinema Films in this part of south east Asia. Believe me you are simply super Awesome! You explain so simply and point by point note. Simply Brilliant! I wish you had some tutorial on color grading and Cinematic video editing. Thank you once again. Hope to see your every single tutorial. Take care. Cheers
Thank you madam, I hope you are well.. Pls help me, how to 4k footage edit and export in premier pro 2023. I know 2k export, but i dond know 4k, Thanks masv..
Got to the "right click" get info part at around 3:00 though Open using Rosetta was not an option. I right clicked on Adobe Premiere 2024 and did everything carefully up to what u said to do. 2019 MacBook with Intel Processors. Thanks for any help.
Also, this person is pretty much the same as you though does not do the "open using rosetta" option like you did. So is that "get info" part of your video necessary? I
@@trubenstudios4063no it’s not if you don’t have a silicon chip( the one made by apple self, like the m1 pro or any M type chip) like you said you have an intel chip so the option is not there for you.
Ok, so if I have a master in stereo, and I change the track to 5.1 when making the DCP, does it automatically create a 5.1 mix and just sort of assign different channels to certain speaker positions? Or does the master have to be in 5.1? Thanks
Love this video. A quick question if you can help out. I'm trying to export DCP from Premiere Pro 2023 at 30fps. Even setting up the sequence at 30fps doesn't automatically sets the DCP to that frame rate, only 24 and 25. Is there a way to export it at 30 at all? Cheers!
hi, thanks for the helpful video! I made an ad for a client, so the DCP should not be the content kind "feature", but I guess "trailer" in order for it to work within their playlist. is there a way to change the content kind in the premiere export?
Sorry can't get on zoom, but feel free to shoot your question here, and I'll try my best to help out! or there might be someone else in here who knows the answer 🙌
Yes! Keep in mind that if you follow the process of changing the sequence settings in Premiere or DaVinci, you will have to put the 4K flat or scope resolution and adjust framing accordingly. Also the examples used in this video were for a 2D DCP, as that size can be done for free. If you want 4K, you will need the paid version of Wraptor or DaVinci Resolve.
I have a question 🙋! I have exported my movie in DCP format but for some reason the sound is missing. And there are 3 or 4 exported files with the main video. Where i can find the sound of the movie because i guess it exported separately
@@pro_kindness Audio and video are exported separate yes, however they all should be in the same folder. What are the other 3 or 4 files that are also in his folder? There will be multiple files, there should be “asset map”, “volindex”, 2 xmls “pkl_#” “cpl_#“, 2 mxf “video” and audio (see 0:52 of the video for a view of the folder). Did you export the DCP directly from the cutting sequence or did export a high-res master file, first? Try exporting a high-res master file first and then import that one to make the DCP.
Please be careful!!! Many festivals will NOT take a DCP made from Wraptor. Here are specs from two of the better know festivals. "❏ Packages must be properly signed - no pirated software ❏ DCPs created with Adobe Wraptor plug-in will be rejected" & "Due to known compatibility issues, DCPs made with Premiere Pro or Wraptor will be rejected."

It's because all the cinema projectors only support 24 fps, so it is the standard for all dcp files.
I hope this helps you.

Is there a way to make a DCP in Final Cut Pro X? That's where I edited my short film
Why my folder files is not so heavy. What’s should I sent to the cinema guy?
Okay so what if my computer has an M1 chip? I need to export a DCP and don't even have Wraptor as a format option.
Were you able to activate Rossetta? Wraptor still not appearing?
my 3gb video went to 890gb lol but is what it is i guess
That is...a very big file! How long is his video and its resolution? (2K, 4K? Used on a cinema camera?). The DCP definitely shouldn’t be that big.
Hi, what if I want to export in 4k scope (4096x1716) 2k scope is a very old standard... A lot of cinemas are moving to 4k scope
I’m wondering about this too, there no option in premiere for 4K. Were you able to figure out a solution?
@@bdog719 yes, sadly you need to pay to upgrade that specific feature n premiere pro. It is called the wraptor DCP plugin for premier pro.
Hi, any chance we can zoom for 10 minutes and you can help me out ? If so, thanks so much

How to resolve DCP export error
[error compiling movie
export error
a low-level exception occurred
writing with exporter : wraptor DCP
writing to file : f:\
around timecode:00:25:15
component: wraptor DCP
Selector : 9
error code : 3]
sooo the content doesn't need to be filmed in Cinema 4K but it is converted into it? Even if the original was just normal 4K (UHD) ?

DaVinci exports DCP in others colors?
heck it said it would export in HDR

It's unclear if I need an easyDCP license to do it in Resolve.
You don't technically if you don't have to encrypt it
I have a question. Is it possible to make a stereoscopic 3D DCP?
Yes
WARNING: DCPs made with Wraptor are not universally accepted by film festivals - save yourself the headache and don't use PR to make your DCP
Thanks for the info! It's always best to confirm with the festival directly what deliverables work for them to avoid any issues.👍
