I feel for you, I hope it gets better soon. I loved the video, my daughter inlay gave me some red and green burlap the other day and as soon as I saw it I thought of your videos with the pumpkins. I new I was going to try and make some trees, but your with the regular looks great. I love it and the shabby shic tree too. I'm in progress of moving all my craftroom to the basement so it will be a little bit but that will be my first project when I get everything put up and out. God bless and thanks for the inspiration.

I especially liked the bowl with the transfer. I have a ton of pine boughs left over and didn’t know what to do with them….now I know 😉 Hope you feel better soon!
Heather I am so sorry to hear about your back and I completely understand. I am also dealing with chronic back pain and will probably have to have surgery on it it is absolutely the worst! I have been on the struggle bus for quite awhile and just am going to have to figure out how to actually get things completed and up to the booth so that they will hopefully sell. Heather..I love all your projects! You have inspired me to use my IOD transfers! Is it a good idea to use a sealer/top coat over the painted surface before applying the transfers? Can the transfers be removed from an item to change it out if the piece isn’t selling? Thank you! I hope your back continues to heal!
If you are using DIY or chalk type paint it needs to be sealed before using a transfer on top. You can always sand off the transfer if you no longer want it there. I hope you have fun using IOD!!
I think the bowl, but the house is a close second. Question-with the DIY black paint, do you have any issues with fingerprints before you can get a sealer on it?
I’ve asked at Hobby lobby and Michaels why they don’t sell transfers and they’re like we don’t even know what you’re talking about so are there any retail stores that sell transfers?
The transfers I use (IOD) are sold by retailers around the country and you can look at ironorchiddesigns.com to find a retailer near you. I searched Christmas Valley transfer and found this Etsy listing below to get it shipped to you. There is also ReDesign by Prima which is another transfer brand. www.etsy.com/listing/1278129140/
