When my daughter was little she never acted like she had any imaginary friends but for about 6 months when she was about 3 she kept telling me about the old man that lived in the corner of her bedroom. She wasn't scared and was very descriptive but she didn't say he was her friend just that he lived there. We were renting and my lease was up so I moved! I was freaked out! She never said anything like it again.
I once woke up at 3 am. In my room and saw a woman in all white, no face and long back hair, and she turned and looked at me before going down the hall. I have never been so terrified. A couple of years later, it was my nephews room, and they would cry and point to the corner of the room and say lady or person. My family didn't believe me till they started to do it.

But ghosts often appear and can be heard "in mind" which doesn't need a physical sight or hearing to see or hear them. Just like in this story the girl saw the old man but no one else did because she had a different sensitivity although she could physically touch and feel the man. Like in the movie "The 6th Sense". Same! I still occasionally think about that episode. When I was a kid I use to lowkey hope the old man that my parents had bought my childhood home from would show up one day as an “imaginary friend” (since he had passed by this point). As long as no evil people were present!

My son laughed and talked to himself when he was alone in his room at night I’m convinced he had an imaginary friend. Honestly creeped me out. He also one time ran to my room terrified talking bout he has a monster in his room and for days he wouldn’t go in his room alone. I fought the monster and told the monster “If you don’t pay no bills you can’t cause no thrills… now get on” Hasn’t talked or laughed to himself at night since. I think I handled the situation pretty well.
Nice episode! 😊 Talking about grandad, when my grandad passed I kept his passport and his pendant with me for memory. One night on the 1st November I suddenly really missed him and was just looking at the old passport and the pendant. Later that night around 1-2 am there was a huge orb in the room, like a basketball. It also had a blueish white hue and I felt like it had consciousness (it thought on its own). I got really freked out and that was not the first time when thinking about my grandpa. I also had dreams with him that were scary. Basically, although he was my favourite person in the family, he was an atheist and when he passed, the priest refused to say the prayers which they usually say at the cemetery. So, I thought perhaps he was still "lingering". I'm not sure. That was 30 years ago and there were loads of prayers afterwards. I am not myself religious but I decided to burn the passport and throw away the pendant as a symbolic "release" and I haven't seen anything weird since but I did get into the similar hobbies that my grandad had.

Did you really just say that “even jordan began to experience things when she was old enough to be left alone at the age of 3”? Who the hell leaves toddlers home alone?
I’ve been watching relatively a short time 6 ish months and in that time I love how much yall have worked on elevating the pod in different ways whether it’s audio or video. I listen/watch all the mile higher pods, BIG FAN 🖤
It was so normal in the 80s for little kids to answer the door and even walk to and from school by ourselves I lived in a small town in Australia and I was born in 1974 I started walking to and from school by myself when I was 7 and it was completely normal back then. Home alone every day for 2 hours at 10 is totally inappropriate these days.
When I was a kid, I had an imaginary family of pigs. I don't know what it means, nor do I remember them, but my family tells me about the adventures we had. One day I told everyone they packed up and moved away and never talked about them agajn. Also, when my little brother was a little kid, he used to be adamant that he used to drive a military tank everything wed pass one at a VFW in our home town. Interesting stuff!
The worst thing about small towns is the STDs and drug use bc no one has anything “better” to do When I think of old men being really friendly to children I immediately think of Albert Fish😭
I have a vivid memory of having an imaginary friend, and I say vivid bc the whole time I thought it was my older brother I was playing with (we’re 2 yrs apart). However one day my “friend” was jumping off a 4-5 shelf dresser claiming to be Spider-Man & was trying to get (4-5yr old) me to do the same. My mom was in the same room with me so she remembers clear as day also. I attempt to jump but was unsuccessful and when I fell my whole arm twisted so I had to be rushed to the hospital and caused me to have a permanent 3” hypertrophic scar. When I retold this story to my mom she was shocked because she said my brother was at school & she had to call her friend for help to pick him up bc she didn’t have a car to get him. She said I would always play with someone, but I can only clearly and visibly see this “friend” from that traumatic day, he was naked with only a diaper, which my brother would not have been wearing at that age 😭
i grew up in harris county, where ellerslie is, and this story was all over the county for years. i remember hearing about to so much growing up. it’s so cool to see yall covering it!!
Pausing at the beginning to thank you for restocking the ouija blanket! They went quickly and I missed out the first run, but I will snag one this run for sure! Gorgeous design and yes, a tee in long-sleeve and short-sleeve and a hoodie with that design would be in my closet also! I always (if available) like to get the same design in all three so I can wear it in all seasons! Edit: I feel the same way about anyone touching a child! My son was a beautiful baby (still handsome at 21 😂) and people would stop us in the mall to say how cute he was and try to ruffle his hair all the time. Good thing we didn’t live in a small town because I was NOT polite about telling them to back off and not touch him. I feel the same way about relatives that expect a hug from a child. Children have the right to body autonomy!!! Edit 2: It’s 11:11 pm, I am eating yogurt and berries and you guys go off on the “My neighbor the demon” side quest and I had just taken a bite 😂😂😂😂 Snorting Greek yogurt is demonic, let me tell you! 😂😂😂😂 Never stop the side quests, I love them! ❤
I love crime weekly! It makes me so happy to know Josh and Derrick are buddies 😍😍 If you guys ever did an episode together (mile higher) and crime weekly, it would be like Marvel and DC universes merging. Also, I loved AR program! I did it all my years of school. We got all kinds of field trips at the end of the year for a certain level of points. They’d also have tables full of cool toys, electronics, books, and things that everyone could pick from, each point you earned got you a ticket for the drawing. The people with the most points got picked first based on statistics, and they would get multiple picks from the tables. It’s a great program.
I just finished watching on Spotify and had to run over here to comment! Josh, you unlocked a core memory talking about the AR tests and rewards 😂 And when y'all started talking about demons, all I could picture was the clip of Kendall saying "RUN 👹" 🤣🤣🤣 Great episode, guys! Love me some paranormal! Sidenote though - Austin, I'm speaking from experience when I say I promise that you do NOT want an experience with a demon or any other evil entity! I've woken up several times unable to breath because of a crushing sensation on my chest, which I can only describe as something purely evil trying to enter my body and take my soul. I also have a picture of claw marks down my hip/back of my leg that I woke up with after a nap. It was actually the stinging from the marks that woke me up. It's terrifying and not something you want on your Bingo card 😅😳
I used to live in an old apartment in an old part of town that was haunted. The water faucet in the bathroom used to go on by itself in the middle of the night. I ignored it, wasn’t really scary just annoying. I think whatever was there kept trying to get my attention and I kept ignoring it. Long story short… one night I was attacked by a demon. I know it was a demon because it whispered in my ear in a demonic voice. I could feel the warmth of its breath on my ear. It was holding me down and I was paralyzed and couldn’t move. A few years later I reached out to the girl who lived in this apartment for years before I did and she told me some terrifying experiences she had there.
I watched all the seasons & episodes of Amy Allen on Dark Files & loved it, I learned so much about the diff types of paranormal & how to cleanse each out.
The town I live in and grew up in has maybe 1900? I'm definitely not a city person, but sometimes it gets old that everyone knows everyone's business lol
Super quite literally watched every single show of you sleep one yesterday they said about making a plaque. I was like it should be me lol I should be the one with the plaque watched every episode but never live !!! Yay
My family was so into creep stuff, it’s no wonder I never slept as a kid! My brother and sister were 11 and 13 years older, and made me watch scary stuff. I was convinced the Mummy was coming down the hall every night lol
Did that have a negative effect on you? I grew up not being censored my family made me think pennywise was real ... I somehow turned into a fan of scary things even though I grew up being scared of certain things...just curious
Love your all’s videos and your comments about the topic for the show. ❤ you all!! Enjoy seeing Annabelle. I truly believe she is looking at your producer so watch out. She may follow you home one day.
Small town gossip definitely a thing. I've gotten it I want out as much as possible. I'm a good person and people r just either jealous or I don't know what but I can never find anyone nice to hang out with it. It sucks. Wanna move south.
Okay that was creepy. If anyone comes near me when I have my granddaughter and saying stuff like I walk away. If they go to touch her I block it saying please don't touch my granddaughter with out permission. We are trying to teach her no one is allowed to touch you without permission. When I get creepy vibes I have learned to listen to them.
Speaking of imaginary friends, when I was prolly between the ages of 3 or 4 to 5 or 6, I constantly told my mother "the monster made me do it" I always spoke of the monster. I don't have a single memory of "the monster" , I'm just going by what my Mom and Sister told me. But it raises the question, could it have really been something persuading me to do stuff? Good possibility it was just my imagination, but who knows! Either way, it's kinda creepy!
Love you guys and your content...this episode was so entertaining 😂. I really love the back and forth and how u guys share your experiences during the delivery. Keep it up and more paranormal please!!
The home that I grew up in was haunted. When my mom was a teenager, she would babysit the original owner's kids. Later on, the husband had gone home after being at the doctor. His doc told him to go home and get rest. He passed in his sleep. The ghost in my home was him. It's cool because all the memories I have of the times he would make himself present/known are good and happy. Kind of crazy thinking back to it now as an adult.
It’s only fitting that Austin is a full grown host by now. We all love him✨

It makes me so happy to know Josh and Derrick are buddies 😍😍
If you guys ever did an episode together (mile higher) and crime weekly, it would be like Marvel and DC universes merging.
Oh!! I’ve heard about this story!!! This is So Fascinating!!!❤
I just finished watching on Spotify and had to run over here to comment! Josh, you unlocked a core memory talking about the AR tests and rewards 😂 And when y'all started talking about demons, all I could picture was the clip of Kendall saying "RUN 👹" 🤣🤣🤣
Great episode, guys!
Omg scary as gell glad you're ok❤
You guys are so chill I love it
Can’t wait for the episode
Good morning everyone from Aussie Pete 😄
Sweet I'm early ❤
Love the hunting episodes... should check out the ghost stories of the hotel colorado in Glenwood springs colorado ❤
I watched all the seasons & episodes of Amy Allen on Dark Files & loved it, I learned so much about the diff types of paranormal & how to cleanse each out.
I love you have a shout out to crime weekly!!!!! They are awesome and so are you guys. My favorite podcasters.
i agree with you austin, because i truly believe that THIS IS PURGATORY!!!
The town I live in and grew up in has maybe 1900? I'm definitely not a city person, but sometimes it gets old that everyone knows everyone's business lol
I loved all the side bar conversations!!
Austin whispering “Lisaaa” made me laugh out loud 😂
Super quite literally watched every single show of you sleep one yesterday they said about making a plaque. I was like it should be me lol I should be the one with the plaque watched every episode but never live !!! Yay
Amy Allen is freaking awesome and I have learned so much from listening to her talk about the paranormal. She would be a great podcast guest!
Love all 3 of you. Josh, Austin , and Danny make a great dynamic. I was laughing so hard at today's episode.
I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking about the unsolved mysteries reenactment about Mr. Gordy
Ahhhh I've been waiting ALL week! Finally 🖤💀
OMG YAY I sent in a request for this I'm so excited!
Love your all’s videos and your comments about the topic for the show. ❤ you all!! Enjoy seeing Annabelle. I truly believe she is looking at your producer so watch out. She may follow you home one day.
"the heat, probably" lmfao
this episode has been pure gold from start to finish
Small town gossip definitely a thing. I've gotten it I want out as much as possible. I'm a good person and people r just either jealous or I don't know what but I can never find anyone nice to hang out with it. It sucks. Wanna move south.
Okay that was creepy. If anyone comes near me when I have my granddaughter and saying stuff like I walk away. If they go to touch her I block it saying please don't touch my granddaughter with out permission. We are trying to teach her no one is allowed to touch you without permission. When I get creepy vibes I have learned to listen to them.
You would think people would just ..
....know better. Being polite and friendly is one thing. Being weird and invading space is another
in the hospital for hours now, this is a nice distraction thank you both❤️
I can't be the only one that loves when these guys get sidetracked lolol thats the best content right there!
Awesome video! Love your paranormal material, thanks! :)
Yay! Paranormal episode! Lol, these are my favorite.
