Speaking as a rigger, it would make a lot more sense to add two more lifting lugs and a bridle so that the blast pot stays level when being moved. That little swing at 3:44 in the video wouldn't happen if it were balanced and level. I'm assuming this video was done with an empty pot, how much swing is there when fully loaded? 800 pounds has a lot of momentum, even when only travelling inches.
Perhaps a set of "ears" could be added on to the handle assembly. Looking at the 3d model of the db500, could easily add a lug to the side bars of the handle assembly.
