It's pretty clear by the way he speaks and carries himself he is perfectly capable. People are very different once they pass 70+ years. Some crumble pretty fast and others blaze on for the best part of 3 decades. I'd vote for him. I also truely believe that he is the type that if he was told that he was physically or mentally not up to it he would step aside (which is incredibly important for anyone of any age going for that position)

Me too! I was lucky enough to be able vote for him in 2016 as well. I waited until I knew Clinton had taken California (because I wasn't going to do anything to ruin her chances of beating Trump) before going to my local polling place late in the day and writing in this great man's name for President.
I've never cast a vote with such optimism and enthusiasm as the vote I cast for Bernie in the primary. I'd kind of tuned politics out before then, but his message and genuineness resonated with me big time.
We deserve more Bernie Sanders in our lives.
We can never have enough like-minded people in congress, especially people from younger generations.

The problem with Bernie is he knows the real issue and he still deflects. I personally see AOC is slightly better, since she isn't afraid to actually attack top Corps which are controlled by all Dem backers. At the end of the day the hand that feeds Dems is Corps like Amazon, Apple, MS etc and Dems will turn a blind eye to those guys. Bernie is making this about the GOP which they'd love nothing more than being anit-trust lawsuits against Amazon (like they did MS) but the Dems protect their own.
I’d love to see this man President. He is an honest, principled and intelligent person with a genuine vision for a fairer society. A unicorn in Washington or politics anywhere.

Bernie doesn't accept corporate donations. The stock trade ban for members of Congress: The New York Times identified almost 100 Senators and Representatives who actively made gains in the market, even though they are actively legislating laws for the companies they are investing in. Bernie isn't one of them, and has never been.
Sadly you are correct, Bernie Sanders was absolutely the best choice for president in 2016 and I'm quite sure you would have kicked Trump's butt in the general election. Hillary had too much baggage and such a high unfavorable rating she was pretty much doomed to fail. We lost an incredible opportunity to elect Bernie Sanders as president which would have changed things drastically in this country, can you imagine how different the last 5+ years would have been with Bernie in the White House?

Every time I hear him talk I'm a bit sad, because he has spent much of his life telling us what the problem was. We are just starting to listen.

I liked Bernie a lot and considered voting for him, until he voiced that black Americans shouldn't get the reparations they deserve. We can send trillions to Ukraine, we can give billions to Asiatic Native Americans, we can give countless funds to Israel, but we can't pay back reparations to the descendants of the people that were enslaved. It's clear discrimination and Bernie is not a good guy like he pretends. I don't support him anymore.

Going into 2016 Bernie was bashed for his relatively pro gun stance and rating from the NRA as well as more isolationist views including immigration.

How can you not Love Bernie.
He runs on platform where he claims to understand the struggles of Americans, and doesn't recognize that he's a part of the problem. If he were to alter his message it would be more palatable to a wider audience. He'll forever be boxed out by both parties.

The corruption is too much, everytime you go out in public you're risking your life, racism is still a huge problem, police brutality is still a huge problem, gun control, the healthcare etc. And that's just the tip of the iceberg on the amount of bad things that are happening in America. And not to mention that the country will inevitably have another civil war between the Republicans and Democrats. This is why America needs a 3rd party. A 3rd party that looks on both sides of the argument. In places like the UK, they have multiple parties with their own leaders. While America only has 2 parties with 2 leaders. This is what causes civil wars. There needs to be more than 2 parties to prevent America from having another civil war. If you don't learn your lesson from the past, then history will repeat itself. Now don't get me wrong, the UK has it's own problems and the UK is just as bad as the US, but the UK have a better political system than the US. The UK and the US are shells of what they used to be.

But both are still relatively new compared to Sanders. But I always have a hard time trusting politicians regardless of political spectrum.

Appreciate the honesty, pay $150 for medicare monthly, $178 for medicare supplement monthly and as a retired person am putting thousands on my credit card for three dental caps.

I can’t understand why people forget to save for retirement. I had to crown all my teeth as I use to chew ice and it did a lot of damage. I just paid my bill as I make as much retired as when I was working. Social security will only replace about 40% of your income and you must save the rest in your 50 years of working.
Perhaps when you were working you weren't a single parent, who did the best they could to care for my children and pay student loans.

That's not really true, and kind of a slap in the face to many who have also spent their whole lives in the grinding fight for those same causes as Bernie's. He'd be the first to say he's not the first and he won't be the last. It's just that Bernie has been steadfast, and intrepid regardless of the brutal obstacles, and has communicated with such consistency and integrity, longer and more effectively than anyone else. Sad day for the USA (and the world) when he passes - absolutely true. No one left who truly fights for the interests of the People - absolutely false. In America it costs 1-3K+ just to become a Certified Nuring Agent that's a glorified care giver who makes minimum wage at a nursing home or hospital.Most young people going into this field can't afford that since they worked at minimum paying jobs living paycheck to paycheck to begin with. Care givers are desperately needed and under payed and under appreciated.
Amen! I have to have a caregiver in my home several hours a day, five days a week. My last long serving caregiver who was absolutely wonderful had to give 2 weeks notice for me because she needs to take care of a family member who is requiring longer hours as his condition is progressing. Today was my first day without her. The agency that provides my care has absolutely no one they can hire yet. Have found no one. I don’t know when or if I’ll get a caregiver. I already miss her terribly.
🥲So sorry for your sad circumstances. I was grateful to take care of my mom for 5.5 years and I knew I would be totally appreciative when we lost her… She lived until October 2020… I miss her terribly yet I am glad I spent all the time with her and made her very happy while we enjoyed each other.
I got her away from stupid TV programming and turned her onto TCM (Turner classic movies) and shared my many hundreds of DVDs with her… We would stay up all hours of the night watching great movies and old TV shows together. I was happy to make us some very tasty meals or heat up her meals on wheels as well.
I hope something wonderful happens in the near future for you and a very caring person steps up to help you relax with all you need to deal with.😻👍

I take care of my mother full time and unemployed and the POA refuses to give me a stipend.
So a very dark future of being homeless and broke when the end of time arrives.
@@bsing2u are you in the US? I require a caregiver, was evaluated by the Medicaid nurse and it was determined I required a caregiver. I have had caregivers through an agency and they will pay family members or friends who can provide care. These agencies have a few basic requirements like knowing the Heimlich maneuver, CPR how to transfer the caree, etc., but when these requirements are met a family member or friend can be paid via Medicaid to provide the care. The one exception is it cannot be the person’s spouse. My caregiver’s last day was just last Friday. The agency is not able to find someone yet because of the dearth of caregivers, and they asked if I had family members or friends who could provide my care. I have had friends who did it in the past, but they aren’t available nor do I have a family member available. Only my husband is available because he’s between jobs, but even though he’s my primary caregiver he cannot be paid to fill in.
Just want to thank Seth and the staff for always supporting Bernie! 🤗 Love how much you have him on.
